Chapter 1: Part 1: After Work.

Notes:

Hello, I was inspired to write this after looking at some fan art of a cute goblin fucking a woman, their name is rapscalion_art https://x.com/rapscallion_art/status/1679095016877064199?s=46. I’m also writing this cause I’m a big fan of the short silly character gets a hot girlfriend trope. There will be multiple chapters of this, all of them connected, in different parts, not in any particular order. And that’s about it, any questions or feedback are welcomed, please enjoy!

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Eliza was ready for her shift to end.

It was well into the night and the bar was filled to the brim with adventurers needing a swig of ale. The half elf was very much used to being a barmaid and dealing with all the chaos that came with it, all the shouting, singing, fighting, threats of murder, threats of never-ending curses, vulgar conversations, the whole shabang.

And she liked it…most of the time. Tonight it seemed her patience was wearing thinner than usual as multiple parties of adventurer’s had taken over the place.

Eliza was able to stand it for the first few hours, but as the night went on, she was almost at her limit. Little known fact dealing with drunkard bastards can be grating, it was like dealing with toddlers…drunk toddlers.

Another sigh of frustration escaped her lips as the barmaid aggressively washed a dirty mug, nearly crushing it. She swore if she heard one more comment about her rack, by the gods she will throttle someone!

The anger and frustration dwelled inside her like a volcano ready to erupt, that is until the voice of an angel blessed her pointed ears.

“Hi Eliza.”

From her realization, all the anger and frustration within disappeared at once, the moment she recognized that sweet voice. Turning around Elizas frown was replaced with a light smile as she recognized who it was. Her spirits uplift immediately at the welcomed sight, for the being that stood before her was her extremely short friend(with benefits) Oro staring right up at her.

She greets him.

“Why hello Oro~.”

Standing on a barstool due to his small stature was a small, adorable goblin. Despite being very familiar with him she scaled him up and down a bit, she couldn’t help it, work was pretty dreadful tonight and the goblin was a welcome sight.

He had smooth light gray skin, big adorable ears that looked like they could take wing at any moment, they pointed upwards towards the ceiling similar to hers, two golden earrings hung from each ear, his head was heart shaped with stubble scattered around his mouth, his nose was small and boopable, wide golden eyes still stared up into her own hazel colored ones, and finally on top of his adorable head was a mop of dark black shaggy hair that looked greasy at the moment.

His current apparel consisted of a light brown long sleeve with the ties loose, exposing his chest a little, along with short trousers and a belt. From behind the counter Eliza could pick up the smell of sweat coming off his small body. It wasn’t unpleasant not at all actually, if anything she smells far worse than sweat on a daily basis, barmaid after all.

But despite looking a little unkempt and being slightly smelly, he was still the most adorable thing she’s ever seen.

A lot of Goblins looked like him, all cute and small, but all the gushing and cooing can quickly turn into fear and terror once folks realize that goblins were agents of chaos. Common known fact about goblins, they were highly energetic and destructive creatures who terrorized anything/anyone that was within their sight.

Oro here was the exception, he was the only goblin she’s ever met who didn’t cause chaos wherever he went, hell he was the ONLY goblin she’s ever met.

Eliza smiled down at the cutie pie.

“What can I get you handsome~?

Speaking in a low tone Eliza leaned over the counter closer to him. She rested her giant breasts in between her arms and squished them together to make them look even bigger on purpose, all while fluttering her eyes at the rather civil fairy tale creature.

The goblin took a moment to blatantly stare at her breasts, then hummed in thought at the question. Oro seemed to be in his own world as he rubbed his chin lost in thought. The barmaids flirting seemed to have gone unnoticed.

Eliza chuckled despite her failed attempt at seduction, knowing very well he could be a little oblivious from time to time. The half-elf can recall many many times her attempts at flirting flew over Oros head, not even including just now. It didn’t bother her though, she’d be lying if she said she didn’t find it fucking adorable, endearing even.

“How about some hard grog, big guy~.

“Hm, yeah ok.”

“Coming right up~.”

The bar patrons looked on in bafflement as soon as they saw the two interacting, previous conversations coming to an end seeing the two talking was more interesting.

The non-chaotic goblin who spoke in perfect english they could get over quickly, weirder shit happens in bars. Though seeing Eliza, the busty half-elf, tough as nails, slap the hell out of you if you disrespected her, ass kicking, bar maid speak not in her usually aggressive tone, but in a flirty almost sweet sounding voice? It wasn’t possible!

One bravely stupid patron questioned the woman loudly.

“Um Eliza, are you feeling ill? Did the little guy cast some sort of spell on you?”

The patrons waited anxiously for her response.

Only to immediately cower in fear as they were met with a gaze filled with unbridled hate.

“Why don’t you shut up and drink your grog before I come over there and shove it down your ugly mug!!!”

Nope same ol Eliza.

“Yes mam.”

The man squeaked as he cried into his grog. The patrons despite not being at the center of the scorning also squeaked in fear of the half elf’s wrath, and went back to it.

Eliza’s hateful gaze instantly melted as she brought a mug filled with the finest grog The Worlds End had to offer to her sweet little goblin.

“Here you are Oro~.”

The mugs were already huge by all standards but they looked ridiculous in Oro’s arms, who came up to about her knee, maybe a little higher. Which was extremely short as she was also about 5’7, so if she had to take an educated guess she would say he was about 3 feet tall, slightly taller than say the average toddler.

Eliza didn’t mind though, he was the perfect size for many many things.

Oror took a sip and a little smile graced his small face as he looked at her, the half elf’s heart stuttered a bit.

I would ride you like a horse if there weren’t so many people in the bar.’

“Thank you Eliza, how much do I owe you?”

“It’s on the house handsome~.”

“Oh, then thank you again.”

So polite, she silently cooed to herself.

Though her mood didn’t last as she heard a growl from the left side of the bar, already knowing who it was.

Garbed in heavy iron armor that looked battle damaged, giant sword on his back was the knight known as Ser Jody. His gruff face was red, probably due to the alcohol in his system as well as all the empty mugs that were gathered around him. He was glaring right at the two of them, not caring that Eliza was giving him the same treatment.

“Why the hurp are you serving to his kind?”

He spoke with hate in his voice, red face still twisted in disgust, Oro stared at the man with wide eyes, not out of fear, or surprise or even anger it was just his resting face. The same could not be said for Eliza who kept her hateful gaze on the knight, she responded to his question.

“Why not? We serve to trash like you daily Jody, compared to the lot of you Oro here is an upgrade.”

The man cackled mockingly before switching his gaze towards the goblin once again, the later still straight faced while maintaining eye contact.

Patrons and barmaids alike looked on, knowing enough times when the knight was trying to pick a fight, though picking a fight with someone not even half his height was a new low.

He left his seat and headed towards the goblin still staring down at him hatefully, the goblin still remained completely calm. Eliza stood by ready to clobber the fucker if he tried to harm Oro, nobody messes with her goblin.

NOBODY.

Oro craned his neck to meet the man’s gaze as he was quite tall. Still unafraid.

See Jody sat next to him and spoke once more.

“Are you even old enough to drink you little vermin?”

Eliza was this close to bashing his face in, no armor would be strong enough to protect him from her wrath, all patrons knew this all well…they knew it very well.

Oro himself still emotionless, eyes still wide open, responded.

“Oh do I need to show my ID here?.”

Silence.

Then a chuckle.

Then full on laughter came from the on lookers of the bar, howling at the goblins response. Eliza didn’t mean to but had to snort as well, nobody checked ID’s here.

Oro himself looked around the bar, adorably confused on why they were all laughing.

Sir Lyle however was not laughing as he struck his fist on the counter, silencing everyone once more.

“Hey idiota, you break that counter, I break you!”

Eliza yelled angrily only to be ignored as Ser Jody sat on the stool right next to the goblin.

“Have you drank before vermin?”

The goblin nodded.

“Is that right? Gemma my usual!

Elizas coworker had scrambled to fill in a mug full of Ser Jody’s ‘usual’.

She placed the mug down infront of the knight as he slammed some gold down for payment.

Eliza immediately recognized the drink,

Dragons Blood the hardest ale The Worlds end had to offer. She knew exactly what Jody was going to do, but did nothing to stop it.

Patrons couldn’t say the same as a gasp was collectively released when the man pushed the mug to the goblin.

“Go on then vermin take a swig.”

Patrons alike cringed, Dragons Blood was some diabolical stuff, the bravest of knights that have consumed the drink have even said they’d rather kill an actual dragon than drink its blood.

Oro stared down at his beverage, the red almost glowing liquid bubbled in the mug. He looked towards Eliza for a moment, she stared back and gave a nod along with a smile, silently telling him.

Go for it.

With that Oro wrapped his arms around the mug.

Lifted it with extreme ease.

Put his lips on it.

And drank.

And drank.

And drank.

All looked on in amazement as the goblin gulped down the liver killer like it was nothing, more amazed that nothing was even being spilt onto the floor. Drinks here were not for the faint of heart as there have been multiple cases of patrons keeling over after taking a drink of the stuff.

Eliza already knew Oro could handle his fill but even still she found herself impressed by Oros resolve. Honestly watching him down the stuff was very arousing for her.

Sir Jodys eyes were completely wide as he witnessed the goblin gulping down the drink like he it was water. He’d never seen such a creature down anything with this much ease, he was fully expecting the little pest to reject it yet look at him go!

Oro himself was feeling pretty good, he’s tasted better swill before but the drink was very tasty.

With a few last gulps the goblin finally set his mug down, assumingely done with his drink. He raised his hand towards his mouth to burp into it silently.

“Pardon.”

The bar stood in silence, shocked by the goblins resolve. Ser Jody grabbed the mug, and turned it upside down.

Nothing left.

Not a drop.

Before anyone could react.

Oro spoke once more.

“Thanks for the drink it was pretty tasty.”

The crowd broke.

“OOOOHHHH!!!!”

The bar shook as all who witnessed cheered and hollered for the goblin chugging the hard grog like a champ. This stuff knocked out knights three times his size, yet this beast downed it like it was nothing!

Eliza herself looked at her goblin with pride as he stared back at her with his little smile.

Before she could enjoy it fully though, the drunk knight had suddenly stood up.

The patrons once again stood silent, while Eliza took guard once again ready to protect Oro.

Sir Lyles face itself was unreadable, all were expecting some kind of beatdown, multiple patrons reached for their weapons as well, any lad that downed a drink was worthy of their friendship.

But then out of the blue.

The knight reeled back..

Breathed in…

and….

Laughed.

“hehehehehehahahahahaAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!”

The man stood, shaking the ground from his hearty laughter, confusing everyone watching, Oro included. He then patted the goblins back all friendly, like they were the best of chums.

“HAHAHAhahahaaa you’re alright goblin, forgive me for my outburst I’ve had quite a bit hehehe, another round for my friend here HAHAHAHAHA!!!”

The bar lit up once more at the newfound friendship that had just blossomed. Laughing resumed just like before and the bar went back to partying.

Eliza was beside herself, Ser Jody being friendly? That was certainly a revelation.

“What’s your name goblin?”

“Oro.”

“CHEERS FOR ORO THE GOBLIN!!!”

“YAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!”

And just like that all went back to drinking and partying, like nothing even happened. Eliza sighed, preparing to serve Oro another drink when he stopped her.

“Actually, no disrespect Sir...”

“Jody.”

“Sir Jody, but I just came here to walk Eliza home, your shift ends now right?”

Suddenly she realizes, oh yeah.

She was too distracted to ask what he was doing here.

That’s so sweet.

“Oh yes right let me clock out and we can leave together.”

As she left, Oro waited patiently for her when Ser Jody chuckled once more.

“You certainly are a lucky one my big eared fellow, a lucky one indeed, I speak for all of us when I say you have our respect along with our envy.”

He nodded his head towards the bar signaling him to look, to which the goblin complied. Seeing as all the men and even some women nodded to him with a mix of thumbs up, smiles and jealous gazes.

“Oh thank you, I think.”

Oro responded as best as he could. Not fully understanding what’s going on. Eliza returned.

“You better not be corrupting my Oro.”

She glared at Jody, giving a silent warning.

He waved his hand at the threat.

“Bah Of course I’m not he’s my new friend.”

“Yeah you better not.”

She grumbled before exiting the counter looking to Oro, with love in her eyes.

“Ready~?”

She asked as he hopped down from his stool.

He walked right up to her staring into her eyes with a small smile once again. Before she could smile back, he suddenly took her hands into his smaller ones.

“Yep.”

She was tempted to lift him by his armpits and smash their lips together, but again Eliza remembered there were eyes watching them. She turned.

“WHAT ARE YOU ALL LOOKING AT?!!?”

Patrons alike quickly looked around in different directions, whistling to themselves, commenting on how lovely the weather was.

She rolled her eyes, but never let go of his hand, with that they walked out together.

The patrons sighed, and simultaneously agreed.

That goblin was the luckiest man on earth.

Notes:

Few notes, again if anyone knows the artist to this link https://x.com/rapscallion_art/status/1679095016877064199?s=46 please help me contact them so I can use their character in my story, I edited the look of the goblin because I didn’t want to just copy and paste their design without their permission even though this probably isn’t the best way to do it either. Further more I implied it when she said Idiota but I want to state that I will be basing Elisa’s looks on a Hispanic woman, because I can and just because Spanish women are beautiful. Also spot the reference I placed in there the chapter, it’s not that hidden. Unfortunately be taking a break, as finals are coming around and I need to study. Other than that, I hope you enjoyed this and are looking forward to future chapters, and send feedback and comments, later!

Also ask for my discord.
