It seemed as though Paris was in its darkest hour, after being deceived by Felix Fathom, Ladybug lost her Yo-Yo to Shadow Moth, and with it, she lost all the Miraculous except for her own and Cat Noir's. Now that Monarch has the power of 15 Miraculous, the two heroes must rely on each other to stop him once and for all.
Or perhaps, Monarch didn't acquire quite all the Miraculous as he believed.
In an unknown golden space, of cracking bolts of Energy, a large serpentine-like shadow floated, "I sense the Miraculous of the Mother Box has fallen into Darkness." the being said in an ancient but powerful voice, "Do you feel it as well, my siblings."
"Indeed, I sense the terror of our little siblings." A dragon-like being said in a swirly blue space of wind, "The Holder of Creation's risk has cost her dearly."
"It wasn't by choice. She was affected by the abilities that child was granted by the abuser of the Butterfly." A Bird-like being explained within its burning red space of fire. "And also by the deceit of another."
"Then the very thing we have long since feared has finally come to pass." A cat-like being murmured in a rocky white space of Earth, "The Balance between Light and Dark has been shifted, and with it, the world will suffer."
"And yet is still hope. The Miraculous of Destruction and Creation are still free," A turtle-like being reminded within its black liquefying space of Water, "But it may not be enough to right the balance."
"With the other jewels and their Kwamis enslaved by the Abuser, there is very little the girl and boy can do alone," The Serpent-being said before pausing and continuing, "Friends, the Time has come."
"You are not suggesting," The Dragon-being trailed off, knowing what his sibling was referring to.
"I'm afraid he is correct, it may be our only option." The Bird-being said.
"We've sworn an oath to never intervene with mortal matters." The Tiger-being reminded them. "Must we break that sacred vow?"
"It is only when the Kawmis and the life of this planet are in danger that we must take this drastic action," The Turtle Being stated.
"We mustn't let the balance be destroyed. We must do this." The Bird-being urged.
The Tiger-being sighed, "I suppose we must." It relented.
"Yes, the Earth is worth us making this choice." The Dragon-being agreed.
"Then we are agreed, the time for simply observing is over," The Serpent-being said as its eyes glowed brightly, "It is time that we, the Five, descend upon the Earth."
In Paris, the people are cheering for Ladybug as Monarch watches them from the Eiffel Tower. While on the other side, Cat Noir and Ladybug listened to the people cheering Ladybug on as she gave a smile as she looked at her partner.
"Paris is in great turmoil after the villain who goes by 'Monarch' has stolen almost every Miraculous from Ladybug," Nadja spoke from her news copter as Monarch then spoke.
"I am Monarch, more powerful than ever," Monarch spoke through the Shell-ter with the symbols of the Sixteen Miraculous symbols around him. "Listen, I will be attacking you tirelessly unless someone brings me Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous!" He yelled out.
The crowd then started booing Monarch, not frightened one bit by his threats. "Despite these threats, the population supports Ladybug. Monarch may have won this battle, but the war for Miraculous has only just begun." Nadja declared.
With her tears cleared, Ladybug stood next to her loyal partner and looked at Monarch definitely. "Hawk Moth, Shadow Moth, or Monarch. Whatever you're name is, you'll never steal Cat Noir's Miraculous, or mine!" She declared.
Cat Noir then extended his staff and leaped towards Monarch. "And we won't stop fighting until we've got every single one of the others back!" He then cracked the Shelter shield as Ladybug twirled her yo-yo around.
But before she could throw her yo-yo at the corrupted butterflies, a golden bolt of lightning from the heavens screamed down and struck the butterflies.
Ladybug gasped as Cat Noir reeled back, "Whoa!" Cat Noir gasped, "Where did that come from?!"
"I don't," Ladybug was cut when suddenly the clouds above them started swirling. "What is that?" She asked as she looked up in wonder.
Gabriel, in his lair, reeled back, as if the bolt that struck his butterflies also struck him, "What, what was that power?" He gasped as the Kwamis appeared as they felt a familiar presence.
"They are here," Sass said to his fellow Kwamis.
Gabriel turned to Sass, "Who? Who are here?" He said as the Kwamis' backed away, "I am your master, answer me!"
Then with a surge of bravery, Sass spoke, "The Five have come to save us." He said definitely.
"The Five? Who are the…?" Gabriel trailed off as he had thought, "Could it be?"
As Ladybug and Cat Noir stared at the vortex in the sky they could feel it wasn't natural, "Master Fu and that Grand Master guy did say that Miraculous used for evil could have consequences, Could this be it?" Cat Noir asked Ladybug.
"I don't think so Kitty," Ladybug said as she squinted, "Wait, I think I see something in there."
Coming out from the storm was a were five glowing beasts of pure light: A Black Tortoise, a White Tiger, a Red Bird, a Blue Dragon and a Massive golden Dragon. They released powerful roars that echoed through the city. The Two heroes gasped as the beasts into balls of light and scattered throughout the city.
Ladybug and Cat Noir watched as they saw the vortex disappear the second it appeared and saw the five lights disappear across Paris as they were disbelief by that. "What was that?" Cat Noir asked.
Ladybug didn't have a good answer, but then a sense of relief and drive flowed into her as she held her hands, "I don't know, but it felt like, hope." She said.
"Yeah, it sure felt like it." Cat Noir said with a smile.
"How is this possible!?" Gabriel yelled as he clenched his fists, "I took all the miraculous from Ladybug! I know I did! How could there still be five left!"
"Well, Ladybug didn't have the five Miraculous," Wayzz spoke nervously. "She may be the Guardian, but even she doesn't have every single one. And these five are special, they were the very first to come into existence before the Ladybug and Cat Miraculous."
"They're as powerful as Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous?" Gabriel questioned. "Then tell me, how do I acquire these Miraculous!? How do I find them!?" He demanded
Roarr floated up to him, "Even if you found them and got your hands on them, you could never hope to control them." He told him snarkily.
"Don't you talk back to me, Kwami! You are my slaves, I am your master, and you will do as I say, you stupid creatures!" Gabriel yelled as the Kwamis flinched a bit before they glared.
"You may be our master now, but once the Five find you, the only wish you're gonna make is a wish that you never put on one Miraculous." Trixx retorted.
"How dare you speak like that!? You should fear me!" Gabriel yelled as Nooroo appeared in front of him.
"Master, while we shall obey your commands, it is the Five we are truly loyal to, and with their return, we have the courage to stand our ground against a selfish mortal like you," Nooroo said with the first ounce of defiance in his time with Gabriel.
Gabriel was shocked by this as he knew Nooroo longer than any of the other Kwamis, and he was usually afraid of him as he growled. "Seems like these Five are indeed powerful if you are able to talk to me in such a way. Then once I've made them my slaves like you, I'll-"
Kaalki gave a huff, "They do not serve anyone, they will only obey those whom they love and trust, and that is most certainly not you." She said snooty.
Gabriel growled as he realized that if the Kwamis didn't fear him, things could get complicated. "I must make my move quickly if I am to get Ladybug and Cat Noir's miraculous along with this Five as well." He growled, seeing that this might be a challenge. "Nooroo, Fluff, Dual metamorphosis!" He called before Nooroo, and Fluff unified with him as he changed into his new costume with the Miraculous's different weapons strapped on him.
Back with Ladybug and Cat Noir, after delivering a promise of courage and victory to the people, they turned to each other, "I think I figured out how Monarch managed to steal the Miraculous." Ladybug said, opening her Yo-yo, but before she could explain her idea, they turned and saw Monarch falling out of a Burrow time portal before limping into another one and then saw another Ladybug and Cat Noir, which he now looked like he had the Rabbit miraculous too jump out of the previous whole.
"He's getting tired!" The other Cat Noir said before they were joined by five other heroes. One boy in a western blue dragon costume, a girl in a phoenix costume, a boy in a white tiger costume, a girl in a black turtle costume, and another boy in a golden eastern dragon costume.
"This is our chance to get his Rabbit Miraculous!" The Blue dragon boy said as the seven charged after Monarch as the portal disappeared.
Ladybug and Cat Noir just stood there as they were shocked by what they just saw. "What was that? And who were the other guys?" He asked Ladybug.
Just then, another burrow opened up in front of them as they turned and saw Bunnyx coming out. "Kitty Noir! Minibug!" Bunnyx called out.
"Bunnyx!" Ladybug said in surprise, "Was that really us passing through here with those other heroes?" She asked.
"Yes-No! I mean, yes!" Bunnyx quickly corrected herself. "That was you two and other heroes, but later versions of you two and other heroes, if all goes well." She explained.
"Monarch didn't waste any time using his new powers!" Cat Noir exclaimed.
"And, of course, he started with the Rabbit Miraculous, the most powerful one," Ladybug said seriously.
"The most dangerous one, too," Bunnyx added. "As you know, changing the past can have serious consequences on the present." She explained.
"But what about those five heroes, who were they?" Cat Noir asked in wonder. "New Miraculous holders?"
"You're about to find out; come on! Burrow!" Bunnyx told them as she opened the time portal, and they charged in.
As they entered the Burrow of Time, Cat Noir looked amazed, "Whoa, it's like the TV station for all of Time." He said in amazement.
"I had the same reaction when I was here," Ladybug said, still amazed at the many time portals around them.
"Wait here, you two, I'll be right back," Bunnyx said as she jumped into a borrow tunnel, leaving Cat Noir and Ladybug in the room.
"Uh, did she just leave us in the fun house of Time?" Cat Noir asked in surprise.
Bunnyx then came out from the portal behind them, "Sorry I took so long." She apologized, which startled the two.
"Can you stop surprising us all the time?" Ladybug asked. "It's getting on our nerves."
"Sorry. But I had to take some pit stops to the future to get some backup." Bunnyx explained.
"Wait, future? You mean you grab some Miraculous members from your future?" Cat Noir asked.
"Not exactly my future, but not too far from your time," Bunnyx said as she moved aside and showed the five heroes the two saw earlier.
"Hey, those are the guys we saw with our future selves!" Cat Noir exclaimed.
"Ladybug, Cat Noir, it's good to see." The Golden Dragon hero said with a two-finger salute as the others either nodded, waved, or smiled.
"Uh, hi? But uh, who are you guys?" Ladybug asked politely. "I don't think we met before."
"Well, you haven't met us yet, but later, you will." The White Tiger hero explained, "I'm Western Caspian." He introduced.
"You can call me, Southern Phoenix!" The Red Bird hero said with an aerobic pose.
"My name, Is Northern Tortuga." The Black Turtle hero said with a bow.
"Eastern Hydrake is my title." The Blue Dragon hero said with a hand to his chest.
"And finally, I'm Central Dragold." The Golden Dragon finished with his hands on his hips. "And we're your new teammates, or at least we will be. Just call us the Zodiac Team." He finished as he and his team did a heroic pose.
Cat Noir blinked before smiling, "Heh, well, I was gonna enjoy us being a twosome again, but your help is welcome, right Milady?" He said, shouldering his staff.
"Uh, yeah?" Ladybug said uncertainly. "I don't get it. I had all the miraculous before Monarch stole them. How could there be five more in Paris? And how did you ever get them?" She asked.
"You saw the vortex in the sky, the giant dragon, and five lights flying all over the city, right?" Dragold asked as Ladybug nodded. "Well, if all goes according to how it should, our past selves will explain everything you need to know."
"Wait, you mean those five lights we saw earlier were five Kwamis and their miraculous?" Cat Noir asked in surprise.
"Something like that, yes." Northern Tortuga said before slumping, "It's complicated; right now, let's focus on stopping Monarch from changing the past."
"Took the words out of my mouth," Bunnyx said as she led the team through the borrow before they heard a scream.
"No, no!" Ladybug shouted, but it wasn't current Ladybug, they turned and saw Monarch with Ladybug during the time when they first fought Lady Wifi.
"Over there! Quick!" Bunnyx called out as she pressed paused on the borrow portal before Monarch could get Past Ladybug's earrings. "He's traveled to when you first battle against Lady Wifi!"
"Not on our watch!" Dragold exclaimed as he turned to Bunnyx. "Bunnyx, rewind the clock to the point before Monarch made a grab for the earrings!" He ordered.
"Can do!" Bunnyx nodded as she rewounded the portal to the point when Monarch first appeared as they watched the rewind.
"If you don't get him out of there fast, your crush will be slush." Lady Wifi taunted as she gave a mocking laugh as Monarch appeared from the burrow.
"Oh no, you don't, Jewel Hog!" Tortuga said as Bunnyx kept the portal open, she launched her weapon, a serpent whip, along with Ladybug's Yo-yo through it, and they pulled Monarch into the burrow before past-Ladybug saw him.
Monarch grunted and gasped in surprise as he was surrounded by the eight heroes and saw Ladybug and Cat Noir behind him while the others aimed their weapons.
"Nice to see ya, Monarch," Phoenix said smugly, holding her weapon, feathered bow & arrow.
"Ladybug? Cat Noir? And more heroes?!" Monarch exclaimed in shock. "How's this possible!? I took all the Miraculous! Including the Rabbit Miraculous!"
Bunnyx then walked up with a smirk. "Amateur. Time is like a river with multiple streams, and the Burrow is where they all come together. You with me?" She questioned.
Monarch just gave a dull look at Bunnyx as he blinked, not getting what she meant.
"Okay, I'll make it simpler, the burrow is like a car, and we both have the keys," Bunnyx said simply. "Got it?"
"And as for our Miraculous, they were never in the box to begin with." Wyvern pointed his weapon, a throwing disk, at Monarch slowly, "I would've thought you knew that the miraculous you got aren't the only ones in existence."
"And we're gonna take back the Miraculous you stole from us, right here and now," Ladybug added with a determined smile.
And then the Kwamis got out from the staff that Monarch opened up as they turned to the heroes, "Save us Great Ones!" They pleaded.
Ladybug gasped as the five other heroes looked on. "The Kwamis!" Dragold shouted as he glared at Monarch. "You won't be enslaving them any longer, Monarch!" He yelled as he pointed his golden spear at him. "It's time we take the Miraculous back!"
"You might still be their guardian, Ladybug, but I'm their master now!" Monarch declared as he forced the Kwamis back into the staff.
"No, you're no master, only an abuser!" Phoenix called out with a glare. "You care nothing for them or anyone else in the world, I bet even the family you have mean nothing to you!"
Monarch growled at the Vermillion Bird hero. "I don't know who you are, but if you are what the Kawmis called you Great Ones, then that means you are the five." He growled.
"That's right. And we're here to help Ladybug and Cat Noir take back the Miraculous you stole from them!" Tortuga exclaimed. "Now make it easy and cough them up!"
"Never!" Monarch retorted as he stood up and gave a smirk. "Let's see how good you five really are! Nooroo, Fluff, Pollen, Trixx, Wayzz, unify!" He called out as the three Kwamis came out from his cane and joined with their Miraculous as purple electricity jolted around him.
The Heroes gasped, "You're using five Miraculous at once! Are you mad?!" Caspian exclaimed.
"Just getting more power to fight you heroes!" Monarch shot back as he ran, dragging Ladybug and Tortuga along with him before he stopped and flung the two to a wall of a burrow and they landed on their feet as they looked at him in shock.
"Grab him before he uses any more powers!" Dragold shouted as Monarch took out a flute.
"Mirage!" Monarch shouted as he slammed the stick down, creating dozens of copies of himself surrounding the heroes.
"The power of the fox! This is just a distraction, Leave this to me!" Phoenix said as she aimed her bow up and spun, "Revelation!" She called out as she fired an arrow above them as it exploded into a dome of fire, which caused the Monarch duplicates to disappear while leaving the real one.
"What?!" Monarch exclaimed in shocked anger.
"Revelation is my special power, reveals anything or anyone's deception of my choice." Phoenix explained, "There is no lie that can get past me!"
Ladybug turned to her with a smile, "You mind helping me with another little liar, would you?" She asked.
"Lila Rossi? Sure but maybe later." Phoenix said with a smile.
Ladybug looked shocked by what she said. "Wait, how did you know about…" She tried to ask.
"Come on, we're from the future, our Kwamis will explain things later…" Phoenix started before she leaned in and whispered in her ears. "Marinette." She said.
Ladybug gasped silently as Phoenix winked and went back into battle. She then shook her head and joined in. The eight heroes then charge at Monarch, who managed to fight him to a standstill.
However, Monarch sensed Bunnyx was gonna strike him from behind as he gave a smirk. "Venom!" He shouted as he used his stinger to freeze Bunnyx.
"Bunnyx!" The heroes shouted.
Monarch then grabbed his turtle shield. "Shell-ter!" He created a shield around him and Bunnyx. "Perfect!" He said and reached for her pocket.
"If he takes her Miraculous, we won't be able to follow him through time!" Ladybug feared as they charged at him.
"Cataclysm!" Cat Noir shouted just as Monarch was about to grab the future Rabbit Miraculous before he turned and saw Cat Noir destroy the shield.
Ladybug then used her yo-yo to tie him up again as Caspian got behind him, "Tiger Gripper!" Caspian yelled as his claws glowed, and he wrapped his arms around Monarch as he struggled, "Don't bother! My power gives me either unbreakable strength, unmatched speed, or undetectable stealth, there's nothing I can't hunt down!" He told Monarch.
"Even with your new heroes, you're not going to win this time!" Monarch sneered. "I'm more powerful! Nooroo, Fluff, Pollen, Wayzz, Trixx, Longg, Unity!" He exclaimed as Longg came out of the staff and fused with his miraculous, and Monarch spasmed out as purple electricity formed around him.
"Six Miraculous? Just how crazy are you?" Tortuga asked with a brow.
Ladybug gave a scoff. "You don't look so powerful now." She taunted.
"And you'll be even less pretty soon," Dragold added as he and the others joined Ladybug.
"Seems like you're about to lose this time too." Cat Noir mocked with his staff at his chest.
"Just give up and spare the pain," Hydrake stated.
Monarch growled from them. "Wind Dragon!" He called out as he turned into yellow wind and freed himself of Caspian's Gripper.
"No!" Caspian exclaimed as they chased after him, but he had already passed through another Burrow window, "Darn it! I forgot the Wind Dragon is the only thing that can slip out of my Tiger Gripper. Ugh, I gotta remember that." He said while facepalming himself.
"And now you two have only five minutes before you transform back after using your powers!" Ladybug exclaimed while gesturing to Phoenix and Caspian.
"No, we don't," Caspian said, which made Ladybug and Cat Noir confused. "We don't need to change back or recharge." He said.
"What do you mean?" Cat Noir asked.
Caspian then gave a smirk. "Tiger Dasher!" He yelled again as his feet glowed, and he dashed around as Ladybug and Cat Noir looked in shock.
"No time to explain! We need to go after Monarch before he does anything in the past!" Dragold shouted as he grabbed the future Bunnyx Miraculous and turned back into Alix, "I'll fix you up later." He told her before facing towards Ladybug. "Ladybug, catch!" He tossed the Rabbit Miraculous to her as Ladybug caught it.
"Only the holder of the Rabbit Miraculous can open a time portal." Wyvern reminded her as they rushed up to her. "Any normal person with no Rabbit Miraculous could enter unless by said Miraculous."
"Hmm." Ladybug thought as she looked at the watch for a moment, remembering the last time she used it, allowing Felix to use her to steal other Miraculous as she turned to Cat Noir with a smile. "You do it, Kitty." She said as she placed the miraculous on his chest.
"You want me to control time?" Cat Noir asked in surprise. "What about the others?"
"I do trust them, but you're my partner, remember?" Ladybug reminded him with a smile.
Cat Noir gave a smile back before Tortuga spoke. "Uh, I know this is a touching friendship moment, but may we remind you that we're literally running out of time here!" She spoke out.
"Keep your shell on, I'm on it!" Cat Noir said as took the Watch, "Plagg, Fluff! Unify!" He declared as his cat Noir suit acquired some rabbit-like features.
Cat Noir then touched the portal as which shows Monarch traveled to the time when he and Ladybug fought Riposte, while Cat Noir was forced to watch Ladybug and Riposte go at it.
"Coward! He's trying to catch us by surprise!" Cat Noir said as he rewound the portal to when Monarch came out of the borrow.
"Why is this happening to me?" Monarch asked himself as he saw Cat Noir.
"Doesn't he know that using too many Miraculous at once can cause you major problems to your health?" Dragold questioned.
"I don't think he does," Ladybug said. "I almost experienced before, but I use the Mouse Miraculous to bend the rules a bit and use more than two."
"Oh yeah, I think I remember you told us about that one," Hydrake said, rubbing his chin, "Anyway, let's swat this Bad Butterfly!" He declared.
"Nice!" Rabbit Noir cheered in agreement as they rushed out of the portal and threw his umbrella weapon at him, which caused Monarch to trip and fall as he got up and turned to the seven heroes.
"Burrow!" Monarch exclaimed again as he went through the portal underneath him.
"Quick, while the portal is still open!" Ladybug said as they all jumped through Monarch's portal as it closed as they saw Monarch give a yell as he fell into another portal, as they ran to it.
They then reappeared in the Burrow of Time, "He went into that one!" Tortuga pointed to the window with Red Akumas around a large hole in the ground.
"The Scarlet Moth Attack on Heroes' Day!" Rabbit Noir said as he paused the window and scrolled it back.
Ladybug was surprised, "But wait, didn't you use your power?" She asked her partner.
"Have I used it, or am I going to?" Cat Noir joked with a smirk. "Looks like the Miraculous of Time is unaffected by regular time. Makes perfect sense, right?" He asked them.
"Well, we are traveling through time, we're jumping through time like we are fast-forwarding or rewinding a TV show." Phoenix stated. "The Rabbit Miraculous must not be linked to it, so it must keep you from timing out, letting you use your powers more times than once unless you yourself change back." She theorized.
"That's impressive." Ladybug complimented with a smile before she looked at the Window "He's gonna catch them-I mean, catch us in the sewers!" She exclaimed, seeing the window with the red akumatized villain army as she remembered she and Cat Noir escaped into the sewers to recharge.
"Let's take a shortcut. He's the one who will be in for a surprise." Cat Noir declared as he fast-forwarded to the sewers.
"I'll go this way, you go that way!" Past-Ladybug said to Past-Cat Noir as they stopped in the sewers and they saw Monarch appearing from his borrow and panted as he stood up and limped to the corner where the past heroes were about to change back.
"Oh no, you don't!" Caspian growled as he turned to Cat Noir. "Let's keep him from seeing your identities!"
"You've read my mind, my catty brother!" Cat Noir said with a smirk as they entered the portal and tackled Monarch through another one the second he hit the corner.
"Spots off!/Claws in!" Past Ladybug and Cat Noir exclaimed before their future selves and their allies tacked Monarch through the portal.
The seven heroes and Monarch then started freefalling as they saw past Ladybug and Cat Noir next to them without them knowing, seeing that they were back to the day when the Bubbler first appeared.
Cat Noir then clashed weapons with Monarch. "So, who's chasing who now?" He taunted.
"Who do you think, Nooroo, Fluff, Pollen, Wayzz, Trixx, Longg, Roarr, Unify!" Monarch exclaimed as Roarr appeared as she entered her miraculous and Monarch spasmed a bit before he raised his fist. "Clout!"
"Watch out!" Ladybug cried as she swung her yo-yo around Rabbit Noir, swinging around and putting her back in the trajectory of Monarch's Clout. "AHH!" Ladybug screamed as she flung upwards.
"Ladybug!" Cat Noir shouted as Phoenix gasped as she caught the spotted Heroine.
"Gotcha!" Phoenix said as she held Ladybug, who groaned a bit.
"So that's what happens when you use Clout on someone." Ladybug moaned in pain as she touched her back and hissed. "I think my spine is fractured." She moaned.
"Burrow!" Monarch exclaimed as he opened another portal and dived down.
"Hey! Quick!" Dragold called out as the heroes all dived into the burrow before it disappeared.
They then arrive during the Battle with Miracle Queen as Cat Noir and Ladybug fight off their mind-control teammates. They landed behind the Jardins du Trocadéro, away from the battle as Dragold turned to Tortuga as Phoenix set Ladybug down.
"Tortuga, help Ladybug, we'll handle Monarch!" Dragold ordered as he, Rabbit Noir, Caspian, Hydrake, and Phoenix rushed at Monarch, to keep him from the battle.
Tortuga nodded before she rushed to Ladybug as she moaned in pain. "If I had my lucky charm now, I would've used Miraculous Ladybug to repair the damage." She grunted.
"Don't worry, I got something just as good." Tortuga assured as she wrapped her whip around Ladybug's body, "Recovery!"
Ladybug felt Tortuga's powers flowing through her, she sighed in relief as the magic flowed on her back as it finished. Ladybug then stood up as she was surprised that the pain was gone. "Hey, my back, it's all better!" She exclaimed.
"Recovery, it can heal anything. From poison or bruises all the way up to broken legs." Tortuga explained with a smile.
Ladybug then stood and turned to the others, "Looks like our team could use a hand." She said as she spun her Yo-Yo, and Tortuga nodded before the two joined the fight.
Monarch growled as he lifted his hand. "Borrow!" He then went through the portal again.
"Doesn't he ever quit?!" Dragold questioned in annoyance as they chased after him.
They soon were rushing through many points in the past, one of them when Nino and Ayla first kissed during Animan, and then they returned to the present, but not their present yet since the past Ladybug and Cat Noir are at the edge of the roof as they saw Monarch limping as the team came out of the borrow.
"He's getting tired!" Rabbit Noir said.
This is our chance to get his Rabbit Miraculous!" Hydrake said as they ran through the next portal as Past Cat Noir and Ladybug stared at where they were.
"What was that? And who were those guys?" Past Cat Noir asked.
And then, Monarch dropped down at an Era he didn't recognize. "When am I?" He asked himself as he saw the heroes coming out.
"So, Moth-rabbit-turtle-bee-fox-dragon-tiger man, are you lost?" Rabbit Noir said with a smirk as they stood before they exhausted Monarch.
"Just give up, pal; you barely have the energy for another burrow," Wyvern told him.
"It's over. Give us back the Miraculous!" Ladybug demanded as she reached out her hand.
Monarch grunted as he turned to them. "Nooroo, Fluff, Wayzz, Trixx, Pollen…" He started.
"We'll be here a while, gang." Rabbit Noir joked.
"He's in for a bad message if keeps adding more animals to his list," Caspian commented.
"...Longg, Roarr, Barkk, unify!" Monarch finished as Barkk came out and went into her miraculous before he groaned and touched the rabbit Miraculous with the ball as he gave a smirk. "Even if you take it back, I'll always find it." He taunted.
"Um, maybe, but are you gonna last that long?" Phoenix questioned him.
Before Monarch could ask what she meant, he yelled in pain as electrical purple surged through him as he fell to his knees.
"Guess you don't know as much about the Miraculous as you thought, bub." Hydrake taunted.
"If you did, you would know that using too many Miraculous at once is dangerous." Ladybug mocked with a smirk.
"No being can handle more than three powers at once," Dragold added with a serious look. "And for every one you add to your set, it stops just taking your Kawmis' strength but also your own energy." He told them.
Monarch kept convulsing before he completely collapsed to the floor as the others looked in shock.
"Did we just defeat him?" Rabbit Noir asked in shock as they walked up to him.
"Looks like we did," Dragold answered as they checked the downed villains.
"Is he, dead?" Phoenix wondered with a finger close to her mouth.
Tortuga nudged Monarch, and he groaned a bit as she sighed. "No, he's still alive. Looks like he went through a Miraculous energy overload. Too many powers used at the same time." She said and stood back up.
"Well, can't say we didn't warn him," Ladybug said before she kneeled down and cautiously took the rabbit Miraculous back as Monarch depowered as the umbrella disappeared, meaning he lost the power of the rabbit.
"Sweet, that's one. Now for the rest." Caspian said as he was about to reach another Miraculous before a red light shined on them.
"Over there! The box! We must get the box!" An officer shouted as the heroes turned and saw a young Master Fu and Marianne being spotted.
"Master Fu?!" Ladybug asked in shock.
"Wait a minute, red lights, an officer yelling…" Dragold listed as he looked up to the skies and saw many zeppelins in the sky with Nazi symbols on them. "And zeppelins with a Nazi logo!? We're in the World War 2 Era!" He exclaimed.
Monarch groaned as he regained consciousness and looked up and spoke in a whisper tone. "Trixx, Pollen, Longg, Roarr, divide!" He whispered as the four Kwamis separated and went back into the staff as Monarch depowered slightly and brought out the ball. "Fetch!" The ball glowed.
The ball then flew up and touched the Rabbit Miraculous as it went right back to him, and Ladybug gasped as Monarch stood up and took out his shield. "Shelter!" He called out as he was now shielded.
"Rabbit Noir, destroy his shield!" Ladybug called out.
"I've used my Cataclysm already!" Rabbit Noir called out since he already used that power.
"Nooroo, Barkk, Wayzz, Fluff, unify!" Monarch called out as he combined with Fluff again. "Burrow!" He opened a portal underneath him as he jumped in. "You'll never get that Miraculous!" He taunted with watch out as the portal vanished before they could enter.
"Oh, not again!" Hydrake griped, "At this rate, this chase across time is gonna go on forever."
"And now that he's touched the Rabbit Miraculous with the Ball of the Dog, he created a magical link between them," Ladybug said in despair as tears were forming in her eyes. "Even if we get it from him, he'll be able to take it back."
"Ladybug, don't worry, even Monarch can't stay in his form with all those Miraculous," Phoenix assured her.
"That's right. He'll de-transform at some point, and the link will be broken!" Rabbit Noir added.
"Yes, but where? When? We can't keep an eye on every space-time at once." Ladybug pointed out.
"She's right; if we're gonna stop this insane race across time, we gotta trick him into losing that watch," Tortuga noted.
Wyvern then smiled, "Leave it to me." He then put a hand to his head, "Foresight." He called out as his eyes glowed.
In his vision, he saw a red and black miracle box and then Monarch in a frozen Paris, with two Scarlet moths, the seven of them, and a girl with wild hot pink hair wearing a dog-themed costume.
His eyes returned to normal, and looked to his team, "I know what we need to do." He said to them.
"Uh, what kind of power is that? Because we just saw your eyes glowed." Rabbit Noir asked in confusion.
"It's more than that," Wyvern said as he turned to Ladybug. "Ladybug, you said that Master Fu, the Guardian of the Miraculous before you, was seen in their era?" He asked.
"Yes," Ladybug said confusedly.
"Alright, use your lucky charm and bring out a miracle box," Hydrake instructed.
"What? But my powers can't just make anything I want." Ladybug points out.
"Trust me. It'll work." Wyvern urged.
Ladybug was uncertain as she brought out her yo-yo. "Lucky Charm!" She called out as her costume changed and her yo-yo created a mini miracle box. "What the?" She said in surprise as she caught the box.
"What do you know, Wyvern was right." Rabbit Noir commented in surprise.
"Ladybug, the last time you had this, you used it to defeat Monarch back when he was still Hawk Moth on Heroes' Day. And at that time, you use it as a mirror to see the real him behind you." Drake stated.
"Well, yeah." Ladybug nodded.
"Ladybug, if Master Fu is still around in this era, he wouldn't happen to have the Miracle Box with the other Miraculous he had on him, right?" Hydrake asked. "And if that's the case, there may be a way to counter the ball of the Dog."
Ladybug then got what he was saying as she saw Master Fu saying goodbye to Marianne as she saw the Miracle Box in the player. "You guys are right! That's the ticket! It's not happening here or now." She said with a smile before turning to Wyvern. "How did you know that?" She asked in wonder.
"My power of Foresight has the ability to see glimpses of the future and think ahead of the game and plan for impossible situations," Hydrake explained. "Now we have a plan and a way to retrieve the watch, and Fu is the key."
"Then let's go." Dragold as he turned to them. "But we must not tell him who we are, he knows about the Miraculous, but he mustn't know our identities. Especially you two, because you two haven't met him yet." He said while pointing to Rabbit Noir and Ladybug.
"Don't worry, we'll be careful," Ladybug assured as she took off. "Let's go!" She called out as they all went to find Master Fu.
With Monarch, he fell from the burrow and hit the roof of a car as he looked in and saw Ladybug and Cat Noir inside, the latter clutching a blanket as he whimpered in fear. The driver saw Monarch as he screamed in startle as he drove off at high speed, knocking Monarch off as he fell into the street and ran to the sidewalk to avoid a car from hitting him as he saw Ladybug and Cat Noir exiting the vehicle.
"You drive like a maniac. Whew." Past Cat Noir said as he walked out a Ladybug followed.
"Uh, sorry about that. He's not quite himself right now." Past Ladybug explained as she closed the door, but her yo-yo got stuck as she tripped and leaned on the car with a yelp.
"I remember that day," Monarch said with a smirk as he remembered how Reverser hit Cat Noir and Ladybug with his powers to make them like that and too clumsy or afraid to fight. "Defeating them will be child's play. Ah!" He then yelled as the electrical surge started up again as he hobbled into an alleyway and fell to his knees.
"Kwamis!" The Kawmis then appeared from his staff and looked down at him in pity, "What's happening?! I order you to answer me!" Monarch ordered, slamming his fist down.
"You should've known that Kwamis need to be fed after detransformation. Without food, we become weak, and so do you for abusing them." Sass said with a glare.
"I know, but I have nothing for you!" Monarch started as he gave a glare to them. "I am your master-!" He tried to order before he spasmed in pain again.
"Will you stop being so stubbornly prideful and listen, you myopic mortal!" Sass yelled as the Kwamis glared at him. "If you don't feed us, we will be destroyed, along with yourself." He pointed out.
Monarch growled in pain as he had no choice but to comply with the Kwamis' demands. "Burrow!" He called out as he opened a portal to a train where Nathalie was as he leaned against the wall. "Reverse-morphosis." He breathed out as he transformed back into his human form before he exited the bathroom of the train, and walked up to Nathalie in the doorway.
Nathalie was watching the news of the vortex and the five lights scattering across Paris on her phone, trying to figure out what that was. "What could those lights be? Other Miraculous or, could this be a result of Gabriel taking all the Miraculous?" She asked herself before she felt a hand on her shoulder as she turned and saw Gabriel right behind her. "Gabriel?" She asked in surprise.
"Find food for these useless creatures." Gabriel breathed from the amount of energy he used up before Pollen hit him on the head.
"Try that a little more politely," Pollen told him.
Gabriel growled and rubbed his head as Nathalie was surprised by that. "Did that Kwami just…" She tried to ask.
"Don't ask. Just find food for these Kwamis, please." Gabriel repeated through his teeth, really getting tired of the Kwamis' disrespect to him.
Back in WW2 Era, Master Fu ran and was then grabbed by the arm as he as pulled into the wall and saw the seven heroes.
"Master Fu, we need a Miraculous!" Ladybug said while Master Fu looked in shock and confusion.
"How do you know my name? Who gave you your jewels?" Master Fu questioned since he recognized Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous costumes.
"It's a long story, pal," Caspian spoke, as Master Fu turned to him, saw the Five, and gasped.
"The Miraculous of the Five Symbols have returned?!" Master Fu asked in shock.
"The Five Symbols?" Rabbit Noir asked as he turned to them. "You mean the five beasts from Chinese Folklore? That's what you're Miraculous are based on?"
"Yes, they are, but the us in your time can fill you in when we get back, We are on a time limit here," Dragold said before turning to Master Fu. "Master Fu, I know this sounds crazy, but we come from the future where you've hidden yourself away because of a terrible mistake you made. It's complicated," he explained, trying to wrap his head around while Fu was surprised to hear they were aware of his mistake. "Oi, all this time travel, it's so confusing."
"What he's saying is that we meet and become friends in the future." Ladybug started with a smile. "And while you do live in fear, one day, you'll find peace." She said as Master Fu looked at the young heroes before smiling at them.
"Mm-hmm. I believe you." Master Fu said with a smile as he took out his Gramophone and put in a code to bring out the Miracle Box he turned back to them, "Please tell me, what are your names." He asked the heroes.
"Ladybug."
"Rabbit Noir."
"Western Caspian."
"Northern Tortuga."
"Southern Phoenix."
"Eastern Hydrake."
"Central Dragold.'
"Heroes from beyond this time, pick an ally you can trust to fight alongside you in this mission." Master Fu said as he opened up the Miracle Box as the other Miraculous opened up from their compartments, except for the Peacock and the Butterfly since, in this time, they were still missing. "Choose wisely. Such powers are meant to serve the greater good."
"They must never fall into the wrong hands." Both Ladybug and Master Fu said in unison as Master Fu looked in surprise before he smiled.
"We just need to The Dog Miraculous, Master Fu. It'll help us get the Rabbit Miraculous of the future back." Dragold said as Ladybug picked it up.
"And as not to disturb the river of time, you must return it to me once the mission is over." Master Fu added.
"You can trust us, Master," Ladybug promised.
"You'll get it back in less than a second." Rabbit Noir added as the heroes stood up he opened a burrow before the seven heroes went inside it closed, and Master Fu smiled at them.
Back in the present, Alix and her father are in the museum, and the girl runs up to her father. "So, what was the important thing you needed to show me, Dad?" She asked.
Alix's father looked at his watch as he checked the time. "It isn't now or here." He said as they entered the painting gallery. "Are you still planning on studying engineering after graduation?" He asked his daughter.
"Totally, Dad. Science rocks my boat." Alix answered with a smile as they looked at the picture.
"What matters most is doing what you love, Alix." Alix's father said as the two turned to each other.
"And loving what you do!" They both said in unison.
"Just like you're doing," Alix added.
"Yes." Alix's father said with a smile. "Every day, I'm happy to come and work here, among these historical treasures. I'd give anything to actually explore the past centuries first-hand and not just study their remnants." He said.
"Maybe I'll be the scientist who invents the time machine," Alix suggested with a confident smile. "And I'll take you to see these moments in person."
Alix's father was surprised by his daughter's words as he gave a smile as he kneeled down to her. "I'd love that." He said in a proud tone.
Alix was confused by her father's expression. "Why are you looking at me like that?" She asked.
"To remember you, and this moment, here and now." Alix's father said fondly as he saw his watch hit 7 p.m., and a burrow opened up at that moment as the seven heroes exited it.
Alix turned and saw Ladybug, Rabbit Noir, and five unfamiliar heroes. "Ladybug? So this is it, Ladybug? You've finally realized how cool I am?" She asked eagerly, remembering how her future self told her that her time to get a Miraculous would come but only when she was ready.
"Good evening, Mr. Kubdel." Ladybug greeted Alix's father. "I've got a big favor to ask your daughter. I hope you'll understand." She said as Alix's father nodded in understanding as Alix turned to Ladybug in confusion. "Alix Kubdel, here is the Miraculous of the Dog, which will grant you the power to recover whatever your ball touches." She said.
"The Dog Miraculous?" Alix asked in confusion. "Wasn't my thing time travel?" She asked as she accepted the miraculous.
"That's the thing, Alix. Monarch has the Rabbit Miraculous along with the others." Dragold pointed out. "The one Cat Noir is using is from your future self, and this Dog Miraculous is from the past. We need your help to get the Present Rabbit Miraculous back from Monarch before he throws all of time out of whack."
"Wait, so Monarch is already using the other Miraculous and started with the watch?" Alix asked before groaning, "Aw man, I wanted to do that first!" She complained.
"Don't worry, you'll get your chance." Tortuga assured, "We have a plan, and you're the key to making it work."
Alix looked at the dog Miraculous with a determined smile as she put it on as Past Barkk appeared. "Hi." Past-Barkk greeted.
"Once we've retrieved the Miraculous of Time, you won't return it to me. You'll have to continue wearing it, in order to protect it until Monarch is defeated." Ladybug instructed.
"Wait, keep it? Why?" Alix asked as she remembered that after missions, the other heroes always returned the Miraculous.
"After losing the Miraculous, I've realized it's too risky keeping them together in one place," Ladybug said in guilt.
"Which is why you have to remain in the burrow of time to keep it out of Monarch's reach if he tries to steal it again," Phoenix stated. "It's the only way to make sure the Miraculous of Time and the timeline remain safe." He added.
"But that means…" Alix trailed off as she realized what they were saying.
"You won't be able to return to this time right away." Ladybug finished in sympathy.
"We're sorry, Alix. But once Monarch is gone, you can return home." Dragold assured.
Alix then turned to her father as she realized something. "You knew it!" She said to her father in shock.
Dragold and Ladybug were surprised by this. "Wait, Mr. Kubdel, you knew the right moment for Alix to leave?" Dragold asked in surprise.
"But how?" Ladybug wondered as well.
Mr. Kubdel turned to his father with a smile. "Because you told me, Alix." He said as he brought out some pictures and letters. "You wrote to me from all the eras you visited so I wouldn't worry about you." He said as he showed the pictures of Alix's future self taking selfies of different eras in time, even one of her taking a selfie with a T-Rex as Mr. Kubdel took out a note. "'You were so right, Dad! It's cool doing what we love.'"
Alix smiled as she gave her father tears of joy. "And loving what we do." She said as the two hugged each other one last time, knowing they wouldn't see each other for a while as they broke apart. "Ladybug and Cat Noir are the best. I'll be back soon, Dad." She assured.
"And with us helping them, that might be sooner than you think," Caspian added with a smile as he and the Zodiac Team stood by.
"We'll help them defeat Monarch and get the rest of the Miraculous back. Who knows, maybe it will be sooner for you." Drake commented.
"I've been wondering, who are you guys? I've never heard of heroes like you before." Alix wondered.
Dragold stood there with a small smile. "We're the ones who are gonna help Ladybug and Cat Noir get all their teammates back their Miraculous. We are the Zodiac Miraculous holders. And we're here to make sure Monarch can never abuse another Miraculous again." He declared as the Zodiac Team stood tall.
"Cool!" Alix exclaimed in excitement.
Past-Barkk then spoke. "All you need to do is say, 'Barkk, on the hunt.'" She said.
"Barkk, on the hunt!" Alix exclaimed as she transformed into her dog form. "Canigirl ready!" She said.
"Rabbit Noir, time to go," Dragold said as Rabbit Noir nodded and opened a burrow, and they walked through it.
Canigirl stopped as she turned to her father one last time as her father waved to her. "See you soon, honey." He said as Alix chuckled and went through the portal as it closed.
As Canigirl entered the burrow with the others, she saw her future self still frozen from the venom and gave a concerned look.
Dragold held her shoulder, "Don't worry, once we get Fluff back, I can fix her."
"Wait, you can repair things too?" Ladybug asked in surprise. "I thought I was the only one."
"Once this is over, you will get your answers," Dragold assured as he turned to Rabbit Noir. "Hey, bunny-cat, you found the spot yet?" He asked.
"Just give me a sec, Goldy Scales." Rabbit Noir said as he searched through the timeline until he stopped at the moment Monarch fell. "Found it."
Ladybug then turned to Canigirl. "So, first, with your ball, you've gotta touch the Rabbit Miraculous that Monarch stole."
"It's the only way for the ball to know the exact object to bring back is for you to touch it with the ball," Dragold added. "Since the one Cat Noir has is from the future, it wouldn't work on its past version, and this is the only place in time where you'll have the chance to touch it."
"I'm guessing Monarch or the past you can't notice anything?" Canigirl guessed as she tossed the ball as they nodded.
They all watched the replay of Ladybug taking Monarch's time Miraculous, "Wait for it, wait for it," Smilodon said as they watched the scene until they saw Ladybug put the watch behind her back, "There!" Alix then reached out and touched the watch as it made a link to it as the burrow closed.
"Mission accomplished," Canigirl said.
Hydrake chuckled, "Well, semi-complete; now that we have the plot twist, it's time for the setting to catch our Butterfly Baddie." He said before turning to Rabbit Noir, "Rabbit Noir, can you bring up that moment Scarlet Moth tricked you on the Eiffel Tower?"
"Already on it." Rabbit Noir nodded as he went up to one of the burrows as he bring up the exact moment. "Time to beat Monarch at his own game."
"And to make sure he falls for it, we're gonna leave him a little gift," Ladybug said as she placed her lucky charm down in the center of the room. "Here!" She shouted as the eight of them rushed to the portal as they hid from Scarlet Moth.
"Okay, Canigirl. Get into position." Tortuga, as Canigirl hid behind a beam while the other heroes looked at Scarlet Moth.
Back in the present, as Nathalie fed the Kawmis, Gabriel finished explaining the Zodiac Team and the Kawmis' new rebelliousness. Nathalie had never read anything about these Zodiac Miraculous, but from what Gabriel described, they seemed to be based on the Five Symbols of Chinese folklore.
"I can defeat Ladybug, Cat Noir, and those new heroes. I know it." Gabriel said, determined to beat his enemies. "There's got to be a perfect moment."
Nathalie then gave an assuring smile. "There is another way to use the Miraculous of the Rabbit." She said as Gabriel glanced at her. "You can go back to a time before Emilie used the damaged Peacock Miraculous, you can save her before she's in any danger, Gabriel." She said as Gabriel glanced at her in surprise as Nathalie held up a flash drive. "This drive holds the information on how to repair the magic jewel so that Emilie never becomes ill after using it. You would just need to give the drive to yourself." She said as she placed it in Gabriel's hands and smiled. "Make the right choice. It's not too late."
Nooroo then floated over to him, "What's more, if your wife is well, there will be no need for you to become Hawkmoth, meaning Cat Noir, Ladybug, and the other heroes will never have become holders of the Miraculous." He added with a smile, "No one shall be harmed, and your wish to be with your wife will still come true."
Gabriel was surprised by Nathalie and Nooroo's ideas as he smiled. "How did I not think of that?" He asked, seeing that he could've done this from the beginning. "This is perfect. Thank you, Nathalie." He thanked her before he turned to the Kwamis. "Nooroo, Fluff, Barkk, triple morphosis!" He declared as the three merged with him as they transformed, and the Kwamis were put into the staff and used the ball on the watch.
Monarch then entered the burrow and looked around to make sure no one was around before he rewound a portal to the moment he needed and then gasped when he saw his younger self and his wife having a picnic outside as Emilie giggled while Monarch looked at her longingly at the giggle he hadn't heard in a long time.
Young Gabriel then stood on his knees as he brought out the damaged Peacock Miraculous. "For you. Are you sure you're ready?" He asked.
Emilie gave her husband a smile. "Yes." She answered as Young Gabriel then placed the Peacock into her hand as they stood up, and Young Gabriel carried his wife as they both chuckled and walked up to their home before Monarch paused it.
"Emilie." Monarch breathed as he looked at his wife's smiling face before he sighed and moved his hand with the drive through the portal, but before he could drop it, he saw a red and black spotted bo and knew who it belonged to. "Ladybug! You're trying to trick me again?" He growled as he was about to drop the drive again, but his hatred of Ladybug kept him from doing that as he felt familiar with the lucky charm. "I've seen this box before." He muttered.
Monarch then marched up to another portal next to the one he was using as he searched through the time periods. "No, no, that's not it." He muttered before he stopped at a familiar spot. "Yes, yes, I remember!" He was at the spot of Heroes' Day. "I know when it was!" He exclaimed.
"It's a sign, Hawk Moth," Past-Ladybug said as she held up the same Miracle box as Monarch.
Standing away from his real past self was Ladybug and her team, as he suspected they were trying to stop him before he had all the other Miraculous.
"I won't let you destroy my future, Ladybug." Monarch growled as he gave a conflicted look at his younger self and wife as he looked at the hard drive as he clutched it with his fist, he wanted to save his wife before it all began, but the chance to the heroes was so close. "I'll be right back, my love. I promise." He promised as he jumped through the portal and landed behind the present heroes without them knowing.
Unfortunately for him, he had fallen right into their trap as they turned to him. "Gotcha!" Caspian smirked.
"Canigirl, now!" Ladybug called out.
"Wha-" Monarch stopped in confusion before Canigirl came out from behind the beam.
"Fetch!" Canigirl said as she held out the ball as it floated and took the Rabbit Miraculous as Monarch lost the power of time.
"Ah!" Monarch exclaimed as Canigirl had her ball and the watch.
"Barkk, Fluff, unify!" Canigirl shouted as she combined the two Miraculous, and she gained a bunny hat with white and blue streaks on her brown suit.
"Fetch!" Monarch exclaimed as he held out his ball.
"Canirabbit, get out of here, now!" Smilodon called out.
"Way ahead of you, Burrow!" Canirabbit called before she jumped through the portal as Monarch's ball missed and rolled back to his feet.
"No! This can't be!" Monarch cried dreadfully as he fell to his knees and looked at the ball.
"Oh, but it can." Ladybug taunted. "You've lost."
"As usual." Rabbit Noir added.
"Fluff and her Miraculous are now free of you," Tortuga stated.
"Now, you lost the ability to time travel," Phoenix added.
"So that's one Miraculous back in our possession," Hydrake said.
"And we'll get the rest of jewels and the Kwamis back, someday." Caspian declared.
"So be ready to say goodbye to the rest of the Miraculous soon, Monarch, because we won't stop until we get them all back." Dragold finished as Rabbit Noir opened a borrow as they entered it, leaving a devastated Monarch in the past in defeat.
Once in the Burrow of Time, Ladybug picked up her lucky charm before Dragold stopped before she could use her Miraculous Ladybug.
"I got this." Dragold said as he walked up to future Alix with his hands out, "Nullify!" He declared as he sent a wave of energy over future Alix as the paralysis wore off, and she straightened up. her back as she rubbed her head before she gave a smile.
"I knew you'd fix everything." Future Alix said to her friends and past self.
"Yeah, we figure. You are from the future, after all." Hydrake commented.
"What power was that?" Rabbit Noir asked in wonder.
"Oh, my power is the power of Dominion," Dragold said casually. "It can surpass the power of another Miraculous and reverse the effects of it." He explained.
"That's actually a pretty good power." Ladybug complimented. "I have to use my Miraculous Ladybug to reverse that damage done after every villain attack but it doesn't work when the villain is already gone, like that time when me and Cat Noir were in New York, and Paris got trashed while we were gone." She added with a sheepish look.
"Please don't remind me of that." Rabbit Noir muttered as he gave a guilty expression, still feeling regret for not staying in Paris like Ladybug said.
"Oh, sorry, kitty." Ladybug apologized for bringing that memory up. "You know I'm nothing without you." She said with a smile as she placed a hand on his shoulder.
Rabbit Noir smiled back at her, "Plagg, Fluff. Divide." He said as he turned back into Cat Noir and then started talking backward, which made the group, except future Alix, look at him in surprise as Cat Noir realized what he said. "Did I just speak backward?" He asked in shock.
"Yep." Future Alix naturally said as she took her miraculous back. "That's what happens when you mess with the time continuum." She said as Fluff appeared. "Glad to see you again, big ears. Fluff, clockwise!" She said as she transformed back into Bunnyx.
Present Alix then took off the two Miraculous as she detransformed back to normal.
"Mini-me!" Bunnyx said as she ruffled Present Alix's hair, "I knew you rock it!" She added as Present Alix's giggled.
Present Alix looked at the clock as she handed it out to Ladybug, which she retracted and gave it back to Alix with a smile. "The time has come," Ladybug said as Present Alix smiled.
Present Alix then placed the Miraculous on her straps as Present Fluff appeared. "Ready for a long journey, big ears?" She asked Fluff.
"Uh, I'm having a serious case of Deja vu, right?" Fluff asked around, feeling like she had done this before.
"You have, Fluff. Countless of times, actually." Dragold commented as Fluff turned to the Five Zodiac holders. "Good to see you are now safe, Fluff."
"It is wonderful! Thank you, great ones, for freeing me!" Fluff cheered happily.
"What are friends for," Hydrake commented with a smile. "And we promise, we will free the rest of your friends. We won't stop until Monarch is defeated and the Kwamis and the Miraculous are liberated from him."
"But until then, you and Alix need to stay here," Caspian said while gesturing to the burrow tunnels. "Now that Monarch no longer has the power to travel through time, the burrow is the only safe place where he can't reach you." He stated.
"I understand," Fluff said, bowing her head.
"Good," Dragold said before turning to Alix. "And Alix, keep an eye on Fluff, she can be a bit complicated with keeping up with the times." He said as Alix chuckled.
"I'll take good care of her," Alix promised as she turned to Fluff. "Fluff, Clockwise!" She exclaimed as she transformed into Bunnyx, a younger version of her future self as she put the miraculous in her pocket and turned to her future self. "See? Now I'm just as cool as you now!" She said.
Dragold smiled before he noticed the window Monarch opened before falling into their trap, "Guys, look at this," He said quietly to his fellow Zodiac wielders as they approached the window while Ladybug, Cat Noir, and the Bunnyxs were distracted, "Looks like Monarch has an interest In Adrien's mother."
"That's strange. Why would he pick that moment if he was after the Miraculous?" Hydrake asked in confusion. "Does he have a grudge against Gabriel Agreste?" He asked.
"Could be, Adrien's father was being such a control freak and, wait?" Dragold stopped himself and thought of something, "How would Monarch know about such a private moment? The only ones there are Adrien's parents." He noted.
"He wouldn't know unless he was there, but the only way that would make sense is as if-" Phoenix stopped herself as they all came to the conclusion.
"Oh no." They all said in unison.
"Now it all makes sense," Tortuga said in shock.
"Hey, Zodiacs, wanna join in on the pound it?" Cat Noir asked the five heroes.
The Zodiacs turned and smiled, "Pound it!" They all exclaimed as Ladybug spoke.
"I have one last favor to ask you, girls," Ladybug said to the two Bunnyxs.
"Way ahead of you." Present Bunnyx said as she went up to a burrow and rewound it to the point after the seven heroes got the dog Miraculous from past Master Fu.
"You'll get it back in less than a second!" Past Rabbit Noir promised as the seven heroes entered the burrow before another one behind Young Master Fu, and he gasped in surprise as Present Bunnyx came through.
"As promised, back in less than a second." Present Bunnyx said as she gave the dog miraculous back to Master Fu, who was a bit confused before she took a selfie with him as she went back into the burrow, leaving Master Fu very confused.
Once she returned, Future Bunnyx turned to the Zodiac holders, "Now to get you five back to your time." She said. "I think you've got a party you're missing."
"Yes, we do," Dragold said seriously before turning to Ladybug and Cat Noir. "Ladybug, Cat Noir, before we go, here's some advice: Wait for us. We're from the not-so-distant future. Like around you're time. And pretty soon, when an Akumatized villain comes, it will be very different from what you're used to."
"What are you talking about?" Ladybug asked in concern.
"Look, we can't explain much. It might mess up the timeline. But let's say things are about to change the next time you face Monarch." Dragold told them, "And if the time comes when you can't keep the lid on anymore, it's time to spill."
Ladybug looked at Dragold for a moment before she took a breath. "Well, okay. I trust you. You think we might see each other again?" She asked.
"You'll see us sooner than you think," Tortuga said with a smile. "And once our Kwamis find you after they found their holders, which is us, they'll tell you everything you need to know about us."
"And remember, you may think you can do things on your own; just remember that there's no 'I' in team, and we'll be ready," Caspian told them.
"Catch you on the flip side." Phoenix waved off.
"Don't give Monarch an inch, you guys," Hydrake told them.
"Oh, he never had an inch on us before. And I doubt he would now." Cat Noir boasted.
"We mean it," Dragold said firmly, which made Cat Noir confused as he turned to Future Bunnyx. "Bunnyx, if you wouldn't mind." He said.
Future Bunnyx nodded as she opened a portal, "This will take you back; I've gotta make sure Monarch goes back where he belongs."
"Thank you," Dragold said as he turned to Ladybug and Cat Noir. "See you guys later, and we mean seriously." He joked as they all waved to them, and the five Zodiac holders jumped through the portal as Ladybug and Cat Noir watched them go with a smile, looking forward to when they could work together in their time.
The Five Zodiacs landed just outside the plaza as the Fireworks dazzled the sky, "Heh, looks like we didn't miss much." Phoenix said.
"Come on, everyone's waiting for us." Dragold said before closing his eyes, "Huanglong, Heaven Down." He said as he transformed into a boy with fiery orange and yellow-tipped hair.
"Xuanwu, Water Stilled," Tortuga said as she transformed into a dark-haired girl wearing an Indian dress shirt and white pants.
"Nán Fāng, Fire it Out." Phoenix said as she transformed into a girl with red pigtails.
"Quin Long, Wind Silenced," Hydrake said as he transformed into a brown-haired and skinned boy with a Stepson.
"Báihǔ, Earth Crumble Down," Caspian said as he transformed and revealed himself to be an Ashgrey-haired boy. "Come on, Marinette and the others need to know what we discovered." He said.
"Sam's right. Now that we know who Monarch really is, our fight became much more personal." Phoenix said as the other three nodded and rushed to where they saw Adrien, and Marinette with the rest of their friends.
Marinette turned and waved to the five approaching, "Daniel, Molly, Sam, Kara, Jacob!" She called as the others turned. "Over here!" She called out.
"We're coming, Marinette!" Daniel called out as they rushed over to them.
Back in the Past, Monarch starred down at the ball that failed to recapture the Rabbit Miraculous. But then he gave an evil smirk as he chuckled and stood up.
"You were wrong to leave me here, Ladybug," He said as he had a new plan now, "For the future belongs to those who live in the past! I don't need the Rabbit Miraculous. I'm going to relive everything we've been through, and thanks to my Miraculous, I will defeat you!" He declared, not seeing Future Bunnyx appear behind him.
"Sorry, Mothy." Bunnyx said with a smirk. "Not this time either." She then opened a burrow underneath Monarch as he fell into the portal.
"No!" Monarch cried out as he fell in.
Back to the present, after Ladybug and Cat Noir left with Future Bunnyx, their present selves and Monarch dropped down right where they started.
"Right on time for yet another defeat, Monarch." Cat Noir mocked as he extended his staff.
Monarch got to his knees as he glared at them before he smirked. "Where are your fellow five heroes? Run away?" He taunted.
"Oh, they're out there. Just not at this moment." Ladybug answered as she tied Monarch up with her yo-yo as he grunted. "But even without them, this ends the same way."
"Wrong! You will never take a Miraculous from me ever again." Monarch declared with a smirk. "Time is running out for both of you now. Nooroo, Barkk, Longg, unify!" He declared as Longg fused Monarch. "Wind dragon!" He then turned into wind as he flew away.
"No! Not again!" Ladybug cried out as she leaned on the edge in despair that they didn't catch Monarch again.
"We were able to get one of the Miraculous back from him." Cat Noir optimistically said.
Ladybug then lifted her head as she still felt down. "But at what price?" She asked since they had to leave Alix in the Burrow of Time to protect the Rabbit Miraculous.
"We'll get them all back, Milady." Cat Noir assured as he placed a hand on her shoulder. "We have new teammates on the way to and once we've defeated Monarch for good, Alix will be able to return." He said.
Ladybug gave a small smile at Cat Noir's words, knowing that he was right and they would get every Miraculous back.
Back in his lair, Gabriel kneeled before Emilie's coffin in shame while the Kawmis stared down at him with pity and disappointment. "I could've changed everything. Emilie, my love, can you ever forgive me?" He wept as he knew if he had just put Emilie's health and left the drive first, none of this would've happened.
"So the truth is finally out," Stompp said with a glare.
"You had a chance to save your wife before you lost her, and yet your revenge proved to be more important." Longg huffed.
Gabriel growled at the Kwamis' taunts as his phone started ringing, and he answered it, "Gabriel, did it work?" Nathalie asked, hopefully through the phone.
"No, Ladybug tricked me into going after her," Gabriel said as his voice started breaking. "She-she stole the Time Miraculous from me." He said as he heard Nathalie coughing on the phone. "You have to help me! Come up with a new plan! Ladybug can't get away with this, and this Zodiac Team could come any day now!" He angrily said.
"You had the Time Miraculous." Nathalie cut him off as her voice sounded a bit of anger. "You could have chosen to save Emilie. You could have chosen to save me." She angrily said as she started coughing again. "But instead, you chose your obsession with Ladybug and Cat Noir. You're insane, Gabriel."
Gabriel stood up and then started panting in anxiety. "It's not my fault! It was Ladybug!" He insisted desperately, trying to deny what he knew was true.
Nathalie kept coughing as she spoke again. "You don't deserve my help. You don't deserve anyone's help! I can only hope when the Five Zodiacs come for you, they will be merciful!" She roared as Gabriel just stood there in shock as Nathalie hung up on him.
On the train, Lila was on board as she turned and saw Nathalie coughing as she leaned on the wall while holding her stomach.
"Nathalie? Is everything okay?" Lila asked in concern or faking concern.
"Yes. Help me get back to my seat, Lila?" Nathalie said as she rose to her feet.
Gabriel dropped his phone as the Kwamis looked at him and saw that Gabriel was growling. He clutched his head while his face turned red, and he screamed into the air.
"LADYBUG!" Gabriel roared out in full anger; not only did he lose the Rabbit Miraculous and his chance to save his wife, but now he lost Nathalie's trust and the Kawmis' fear of him, and not only does he still have to deal with Ladybug, and Cat Noir, but also five new Miraculous Holders, very soon.
Somewhere in the sky, the five lights fly across Paris before landing in five different houses.
Each one landed on the side of each person's table or desk, which are the present versions of Sam, Kara, Jacob, Molly, and Daniel, who were doing their own activities before they heard the sound and turned to see an ornate-looking box.
"What's this doing here?" They asked before they took the box and opened it to reveal an interesting piece of jewelry.
Sam's was a belt buckle with the engraving of a white tiger on it.
Jacob's was a pin of a blue Wyvern, wings around the blue jewel with two green dots on each.
Molly's was a ring of fiery wings and a phoenix head.
Kara's was a head chain with black and purple beads, and in the center, a Turtle and snake charm hanging on the end.
And Daniel's was a golden medallion of a golden dragon symbol and four fangs of black, white, red, and blue.
Each of them then lit up as they showed a color sphere of light that circled around them. The five were startled by the spheres before they faded to reveal five creatures that somehow retained colors and appearances based on the animals of the jewels as they looked at the children.
"Hello, my master." The five creatures said to each of the children as the children all gasped in shock at what they saw.
