Work Text:
Asticassia stretched out in two direction, the bend of its torus foreshortening the horizon in a way that made Miorine feel cramped. It was a testament to how much had changed. The first time she had come to the academy, it felt breathtakingly vast. Now, after having lived on Earth with its eternally deep sky and limitless horizon, it seemed hemmed in. Small.
“Hard to believe how much happened,” Aliya said. “I swear it feels smaller every time I come here.”
“You too?” Ojelo said. The scenery sped by. They were in a tram heading away from the Asticassia transfer station, towards the student dorms. The place was crowded and the former members of Earth House had made a little space for themselves among the throng of new students arriving for their first year. “I feel like if this place gets any smaller, I’d scrape my head against the ceiling.”
“That’d be a sight,” Nuno said. “We’d have to give you to science to study you.”
“That was an exaggeration!”
“So much open space, but it never seems like it’s enough,” Aliya continued.
“That’s just part of growing up,” Suletta said. She sat on a bench next to Miorine, one hand with its fingers interlaced with Miorine’s. “I remember when I went back to PC-23 on Mercury. I think I really did bump my head on the ceiling.”
“That’s because you lived on a mining station older than our grandparents,” Chu Chu said.
“Hard to imagine it’s already been three years,” Martin mused, mostly to himself, staring out the windows at the fast-moving scene, preoccupied with his own thoughts.
“Did you see the new uniforms?” Lilique said. “They’re so cute! I wonder if I can get one for myself. You know, as a souvenir?”
Chu Chu harumphed. “Yeah yeah. What about the new Demis? That Jeturk guy might be a clown but he’s really put some work into the new models. Maybe I can take one out for a test drive. That should be fine, right? He owes us.”
“Have you all forgotten why we are here?” Tills said. “We’re seeing Nika off to her supplementary classes.”
Nika, standing next to Aliya, waved him off. “It’s okay! Really! You all didn’t have to come, although I do welcome it.”
“As if we’d leave you to come here on your own,” Chu Chu said. “This new Earth House needs to know who they’re dealing with. And that if they mess with you, they’ll have to deal with me.”
“I really don’t think they’re going to bully me.”
“They’re little teens,” Chu Chu said. “The only thing they know how to do is piss me off and do the wrong thing.”
“I’m sure they’ll appreciate an adult coming in and telling them what to do,” Nuno said.
“They will if they’ve got brains!”
Miorine smirked as the others continued to talk amongst themselves. She had to admit she was curious what Earth House looked like now. The old building had been destroyed during the attacks three years ago. Since then she had surrendered the Benerit Group to Earth and had taken the position of president of the company. But that was mostly to oversee the transfer of assets to Earth control. Still, her position meant that technically, she owned Earth House, just as Grassley owned Grassley House and Burion owned Burion House. She had made sure to invest in Earth House, though she had never visited it since. Coming to Asticassia still represented one of the best avenues for success for young people on Earth. Some day, if Suletta gets her way, that would change.
The fact that there was even an Asticassia Academy still after all the chaos from three years ago was a stroke of good fortune. Since Benerit owned it, it belonged to Earth, but Earth was in no condition to maintain a spaceborne academy. But then Guel stepped in and offered to buy it off them for a not inconsiderable sum. Apparently he had made a deal with Burion to secure the funds. It was the only avenue for Asticassia’s continued operation. And now, with its green spaces and high tech facilities passing by her in a blur, Miorine had to admit it was the right call.
“I don’t even know why you still have to come here,” Chu Chu said. “You passed your certification while you were in prison.”
“Well, there are some gaps in my training,” Nika said. She ruffled her short hair. “Attending Asticassia in-person is the best way to fill those in. It’s only a semester or two’s worth. Then I’ll be done.”
“Look after the kids while you’re there,” Martin said. “Even if it ruffles the current head of Earth House, experience is everything.”
“Earth House will always need someone who knows how to be cool under pressure,” Till said.
Suletta nudged Miorine, touching their knees together. She leaned in and whispered. “It’s nice, isn’t it?”
Miorine rested her head on Suletta’s shoulder and watched their friends. “Yeah,” she said quietly. “It is.”
“I’ll go settle in,” Nika said. “Why don’t we all meet up again later? We can have dinner at the student quad. I hear there’s a restaurant there that’s worth trying. Everyone else will be busy with orientation.”
They stood outside the new Earth House complex, which was a building at the edge of the campus. It wasn’t new but it was nicer than the original building. It wasn’t a huge warehouse meant to store mobile suits that people happened to live in, for example. The student dorms were still attached to the hangar, but it was a much nicer arrangement designed for long-term habitation.
And to Aliya’s delight, there was a separate building used as a barn.
“You don’t want us hanging around?” Ojelo said.
“Well, it seems like everyone has something they’d like to see while they’re here,” Nika said. “And I’m just going to do some boring paperwork and transferring my stuff over. We can meet up later and talk about what we’ve seen.”
“Sounds like a plan!” Chu Chu said. “I’m going to the pilot campus. I want to get in one of those new Demis.”
“Do you think they still have duels?” Nuno said. “What with everything that happened?”
“Does Asticassia still have a student body that’s mostly bored rich kids with more money then sense?” Ojelo said.
They looked at each other. Then they nodded and looked at everyone else.
“We’re checking out the new dueling committee,” Nuno said.
“Maybe there’s a fight we can place a bet on,” Ojelo added. “It’s a new semester and first years love to establish a power ranking early.”
“I want to see the barn,” Aliya said. “I hope there’s animals there.”
“I’m going with Nika!” Lilique waved her hand and clung to Nika. “I want to learn all about whose who at the new Earth House.”
Martin joined them, much for the same reason while Till joined Aliya. Nika turned to Suletta and Miorine. “Will you two be alright?”
“I think we’ll just walk around the area,” Suletta said. She turned to Miorine. “Is that okay with you?”
Miorine nodded, her arm wrapped around Suletta’s. “I’d quite like to see how my investment is going.”
They parted ways and Miorine stayed close to Suletta’s side. It wasn’t a matter of assisting her walk, that wasn’t as much an issue in space as it was on Earth. She just enjoyed the solid reality of Suletta’s presence, which wasn’t new, but something about the moment made Miorine want to cling to her all the more.
“It makes me happy to see them all again,” Suletta said. They were wandering the common area of the student quarters. Earth House was sparsely populated at the moment. Students were still filtering in through the transfer station and the place seemed only half-inhabited. “It’s funny how much they’ve changed, but also how little.”
“You’ve seen most of them many times,” Miorine said. “They’re co-workers.”
“But not all together like this. Not since… being here. It feels like… I wish we had more of this.”
They stepped into a glass elevator that overlooked the common area with its food dispensers and entertainment centers and study area, complete with library. The place really was an improvement over the old one.
“Not all the fighting,” Suletta continued. “But I just wish we could have been together, and been children. More worried about childish stuff.”
The elevator dinged and they came out to a wide corridor with large windows on one side and dormitory doors on the other. Artificial sunlight streamed in through the windows and the broad campus grounds spread out before them in a picturesque tableau.
“I know what you mean,” Miorine said.
“I think things turned out pretty well, considered,” Suletta said. She brought Miorine in close, one hand around her shoulders, and pressed a kiss on her head. Her fingers clutched Miorine’s shoulder and Miorine hewed tighter to her side. Miorine did not know how a sunset smelled. It wouldn’t even occur to her to consider something like that. But the indescribable physical presence of Suletta, her brown skin and red hair and eyes like an ocean — it had never occurred to Miorine to compare Suletta’s eyes to an ocean until she saw one up close on a beach on Earth — all those things came together and Miorine had come to associate them all with the sunset. Long moments — long but far too brief — spent on the patio of their house at the end of the day, nursing teas and leaning into one another; the smell of their bedsheets comingled with the scent of their bodies, damp with sweat and sex; the evening squabbles over what they should have for dinner; racing the twilight hours to pull weeds from around the tomato crops even though their Haros were fully equipped to do that themselves, making a race of it, challenging each other.
All those things Miorine associated with sunsets, and she associated sunsets with Suletta. A feedback loop that left her dizzy with longing for the woman who was right next to her. Her eyes flashed over the nameplates of the dorms, until they settled on a door that had no nameplate at all.
“Let’s see how the students are living,” she said and they stopped as she pressed a code into the keypad connected to the door.
The old dorms were crowded, with bunks lining the walls. An irony considering that Earth never sent enough students to fill those bunks, having hit hard quotas that the other League corporations heartlessly enforced. The quota no longer applied and applications were flood in, so it was another irony that the students would be streaming in just as the dorms began to house less bunks to provide more comfort and privacy. The general dorms would be able to handle the spillover, but now that Miorine was in the dorms she wondered if she could suggest a budget increase for more living space.
“Oh, it’s nice,” Suletta said as she padded into the center of the room. “Only two bunks! And nicer ones. A screen and work desks and charging stations…”
Miorine walked over to the bunks while Suletta wandered into every direction of the room.
“Oh, a closet!” Suletta said as Miorine inspected the bunks.
“Did the dorm budget increase? I’m pretty sure these bedsheets are much better quality than before,” Miorine muttered, preoccupied with trying to fold the sheets back to cover up evidence of her trespass.
“Mio! Look!”
Turning away from the bed, Mio found Suletta holding up two uniforms in green and black.
“Huh,” Miorine said. “Didn’t expect to see those again.”
“The old uniforms!” Suletta marveled and brushed lint off reverently, as if she were handling the rarest silks instead of a mass-produced school uniform. “There’s a whole box of ‘em in the closet! How do you think they even got here?”
“This place must have been a relief camp during the attacks,” Miorine said. It would have to be in order to be this old. Most of the other buildings had been condemned due to damage and then demolished. “Maybe they were brought here and then forgotten during the chaos. I always did like the ties.”
“Hm.” Suletta stood there with a soft expression, like she was cradling a memory, something wistful that could evaporate any moment. “Do you regret not attending school like normal? At the end?”
“We weren’t given much choice.” Miorine stepped away from the bed and circled Suletta, still rapt by her own musings.
“I know, but…”
Then she gasped as Miorine came up behind her, pressing her forehead between Suletta’s shoulder blades and sliding her hands over Suletta’s stomach, clasping them together. Miorine swayed, to and fro and Suletta began to match the rhythm.
“Of course I would have preferred otherwise,” Miorine said. “Study nights in dorms. Panicking over exams and… but…”
But wishing things could’ve been otherwise had been the background radiation of Miorine’s entire life. She swam in its bitter waters for so long that asking her if she felt it seemed absurd to her.
She leaned in close, huffed out a breath, then breathed in, filling her senses with Suletta, and it pushed away the old bitterness. Miorine closed her eyes and tightened her embrace.
“But I like what we made. We studied at your hospital bed. I wheeled you to the proctoring room where you took your exams. We graduated late but we did it together in a tiny room where I fed you the cake we got to celebrate.” And I got to have you all to my self. The secret, selfish satisfaction of it tinged Miorine’s cheeks, unseen by Suletta. She felt the quickening of Suletta’s breath beneath her arms Miorine’s hands began to droop downards, fingers brushing the waist of Suletta’s pants. She wanted to curl her fingers, push aside the fabric that got between her and Suletta. Miorine closed her eyes again and continued to sway.
“I am glad we got to do it together,” Suletta said, and Miorine opened her eyes at the abbreviated clip of the sentence, and she saw the was the uniform wrinkled under Suletta’s grip.
Taking one more deep breath, Miorine stepped away. “Let’s try them on.”
“W-what?”
“I bet we still fit.” She took the uniforms out of Suletta’s hands and placed them on the bed. That Miorine hadn’t grown much in the years since graduation probably would have rankled her if it didn’t make this easier.
She spun Suletta around, grateful that they don’t have to be as careful in Asticassia’s lower gravity. She slid her hands up and pushed Suletta’s jacket off her shoulders. She caught Suletta’s eyes, giving her a cool, gray storm-cloud gaze and looking for any sign of objection as she stepped in and pulled the jacket the rest of the way off her arms. Suletta looked back with the wide-eyed watchfulness she always had when she was suddenly confronted with Miorine’s libido. It had worried Miorine at first, the way that Suletta responded like a deer caught in the headlights. But she had since grasped the subtleties of the expression; her flared nostrils, the way her fingers twitched like she was receiving an electric shock. Suletta wasn’t put off. She just liked to be an observer in these moments, to experience it passively, the way Miorine arranged her body, fingers undoing buttons, hands arranging her hips just so, pulling the fabric down, over the swell of her butt, past the flesh of her thighs, fingertips pulling at the sleeves of her shirt. Suletta can handle her own clothes by now, but she’s still entranced when Miorine does it for her.
Miorine slid down onto her knees in front of Suletta, who had her pants pooled around her ankles. Suletta’s hands automatically went to the top of Miorine’s head — Miorine’s height was such that Suletta can’t hold onto her shoulders — and she braced herself as Miorine lifted one of her feet up to slip the pant leg off it, then the other.
Eye level with Suletta’s crotch, Miorine made the heroic decision not to linger, staring at her wife’s thighs, the way the permet scars crawled up the soft meat of her inner thighs and up underneath her underwear. “Uniform,” she said, holding a hand out. Suletta wordlessly held out her short pants first and they repeat the process in reverse, Miorine working her way up Suletta’s body until she’s straightening the red tie around Suletta’s neck.
She stepped back and admired what she saw. It wasn’t Suletta in her white and gold Holder colors, but it certainly triggered memories.
Not all of them good. In fact, a lot of them were real awful. It was a damning human thing, the way bad memories lingered in the brain.
I really did try to push you away. What a fool I was in that moment. How sure I was, in making the worst possible decision.
Miorine kept her mouth tightly shut. Suletta would not agree, if the words were to spill out of her mouth. But Suletta was always very kind.
There were times when Miorine wished that were not the case.
“Is… does it not look good?” Suletta seemed to shrink in on herself, the way she had when they were young.
Miorine blinked and realized that the grimace she was wearing could be easily misinterpreted. “You look amazing,” she said. “Maybe a little tight up top.”
“Mm. Yes. I’m not wearing my ponytail either, I wonder if —”
“Sit.”
“Okay,” Suletta said instantly and her legs immediately folded, dropping her onto the bed, her knees together and her hands clasped on her lap. Miorine’s lips twitched at that. She moved to lift her hand up to pat Suletta on the head, a near irresistible urge in the moment. But she did resist, hands frozen in a moment, Suletta staring at them in obvious disappointment. Miorine schooled herself, and reached further up to her own neck, where she began undoing the buttons on her blouse.
“My turn,” she said. And it was funny how Suletta had to restrain herself from physically surging towards her as she slowly moved down the column of buttons, plucking off each one in the hopes of building up the anticipation.
Being an object of desire wasn’t a new thing for Miorine, though most of her would-be suitors had been more interested in her father’s company than her. But of them all it was Suletta who made that desire… desirable. It wasn’t something Miorine had ever imagined for herself, that she’d want the kind of attention Suletta was giving her. But the more she gave the more Miorine wanted it. She watched as she swayed idly, as Suletta squirmed where she sat and her eyes roving over Miorine, her chest as she slowly disrobed, her hands as they moved down the length of her body, her shoulders, rolling to shed her suit jacket.
Suletta was never good at hiding her desires, it was only ever Miorine’s obliviousness of her own desirability that had done so. And it wasn’t just her physically, but the way Suletta desired her companionship and conversation. Her, wholly and completely.
Though, it probably wasn’t anticipation for a thought-provoking conversation that was causing Suletta to blush and rub her thighs together right now. Or cause her to clasp her hands together so hard that the flex of tendons were visible in her wrist.
It was as much an act of will on Miorine’s part to hold back as well. She wanted those hands on her far more than her own. In awakening Miorine to the thrill of being desired, Suletta made the act of it just as breathtaking and Miorine felt the heat under her skin rise at the thought of those hands roaming her body, squeezing and holding her. That Suletta was sitting on a bed was unfair. She had just wanted to tease a little and now all she could think of was falling backwards onto that terrible little student bunk, Suletta looming over her. Moving her. Using her until she fell over the brink…
Miorine’s fingers slipped as they tried to undo the last button at the bottom of her blouse. Huffing with frustration, she gave up and pulled her arms out of the sleeves, letting the blouse hang around her waist before she shimmied it off along with her narrow skirt. The soft rustle of fabric filled the room, but she could swear all the same she heard Suletta swallow as she bent over to kick off the rest of her clothes.
Depressingly, the uniform fit was perfect.
“You look amazing,” Suletta said.
“I look like a child.” Miorine tugged the uniform down and straightened the tie.
“Maybe it’s just a larger size.”
“Yes. Let’s assume that.”
Suletta really was very kind.
Miorine stood watchfully as Suletta stared, eyes roving up and down her body. She wondered what it would take to make Suletta a little more…
Hm…
“But, you know,” Miorine said suddenly, feigning an offhand look as if the idea just occurred to her. “I have regrets too.”
Suletta blinked, her eyes refocusing as Miorine suddenly jumped tracks to their previous topic. “W… what?”
“I said…” Miorine took a couple steps closer until she was just within arm’s reach for Suletta. “I have regrets too.”
“Like… like what?”
“I wish that the first time we had kissed would have been in these uniforms.”
“Oh…” Suletta let out a breath that seemed to shake her entire frame. “I would have liked that too.”
In response Miorine only hummed and she smiled, small and sly. She flicked at the collar of her uniform, as if enticing Suletta to come forward and seize it and pull it off her.
Suletta wet her lips and looked around self-consciously. “Here?”
Miorine’s fingers traced their way up to her lips and she said nothing.
When Suletta could no longer sit there and stare, she finally made her move, reaching forward with the hand Miorine so desperately wanted to fall into.
When it reached her face, she batted it away with the back of her own hand.
“What do you think you’re doing?” Miorine said, her voice hard and sharp.
Suletta staggered back in shock, her mouth hanging open. “Uh. I? Uh…”
How did it go again? How did I used to stand? Miorine furrowed her brow in recollection. Right. Feet wide, hands on hips, scowl. Look down on her. How did I ever manage to do that?
“The only person in this school who would even dare to touch me is the Holder!” Miorine arched an eyebrow. “Does that look like a Holder uniform you’re wearing?”
Suletta blinked and looked down at her green uniform. “Uh. Oh! Uh… how did they do it?” She patted herself down like there was a button to trigger the color change. Which, of course, there wasn’t.
“You have some nerve thinking you could defy my father and have your way with me,” Miorine continued.
“I wasn’t — I mean — you — hey!” Suletta shot her a heartbreaking pout, but the furrow in her brow became one less of confusion and a new determination.
You said you can be greedy. Let’s see how greedy you can get.
Miorine flashed her a sneer. For all of Suletta’s meekness there was still that pilot in her that recognized a challenge when she saw one and Miorine had thrown down the gauntlet.
“W-well, what about what you want?” Suletta said. “Shouldn’t… uh, shouldn’t you… who cares what your father thinks!” She took a step forward.
Miorine took a step back, an agonizing thing to do but sometimes you had to give a little slack before reeling in a catch. “And?” she said. “Do you think that what I want is some jumped-up junior who doesn’t know how to keep her hands to herself? Who thinks she can take what she wants without fighting for it?”
She advanced again and this time when she did it wasn’t with a single halting step. She backed Suletta up against the far wall. Move forward take two indeed, Miorine thought as she felt the wall behind her and the body heat of Suletta in front of her. As the gap closed, she very deliberately moved her thigh in between Suletta’s legs and pressed upward. Suletta breathed hard at the contact and moved in closer.
“If you want me to fight then I’ll fight the only person who gets to make that decision!”
Miorine gasps as Suletta grabs her, both hands under her arms.
“You.”
Suletta really was quite strong. The lower gravity of Asticassia certainly gave her more mobility than what she had on Earth, but her physical therapy had rebuilt her muscles, possibly even better than before. She pulled Miorine close to her and then pushed her into the corner, their bodies pressing together and it was all Miorine could do to suppress the moan in order to keep up appearances. But this closeness, this need she felt coming off Suletta in a heated wave was so much to be enveloped in. Suletta was cradling the back of her head in one moment and then the next she closed her hand into a fist that gripped Miorine’s long hair and then yanked her head to one side, leaving her neck exposed for Suletta to descend upon with her lips.
And Miorine couldn’t keep silent with that as Suletta licked at her feverishly, from her ear lobe down to where the collar of the uniform hides the slop of her shoulder. Suletta feels lips, tongue and teeth against her throat and the sting of a fistful of her hair keeping her head in place while Suletta’s other hand slips greedily under her pants, squeezing her ass. And in all the contact she feels Suletta’s need for her. Pressed into the corner she’s showered in it, inescapable and drowning. Her own hands are gripping the fabric of Suletta’s uniform instinctively, like she’s clinging onto flotsam in a flood, keeping her head above water.
But it wouldn’t do to lose herself in the moment and make it too easy for Suletta so she grabbed onto the thick tangle of Suletta’s red hair and pulled in turn. In response Suletta latched onto her neck with her lips, suctioning onto it in a way that made Miorine feel dizzy.
“You… ah! Sex-crazed… ah!”
She pulled Suletta off with a pop! that would have been comical to her if she didn’t find it so embarrassingly hot. She brought one hand to her mouth to try and surreptitiously wipe away the drool that collected in one corner. In her distraction she felt Suletta’s hands under her shorts tighten its grip around her ass and lift. And in the space between her legs Suletta pressed her own thigh, settling Miorine directly on top of her knee.
Miorine sucked on her lip and ground down on the hard bone of Suletta’s knee. Her eyes fluttered and she leaned to one side, nearly falling as the pleasure clenched at her gut. Suletta untangled her hand from Miorine’s hair and pressed her hand down the side of Miorine’s body, stopping at the waist of her shorts, lingering over the front of it before curling her fingers and taking hold of the waistband and pulling Miorine forward along the length of her thigh. Pulling so hard that Miorine went wide-eyed as her head bumped against the wall and slid down it several inches before Suletta pushed her back, then pulled her forward again.
With one hand in the front of her waistband and the other hand on her ass, strong muscles moved Miorine back and forth and her legs fell open. The soft fabric of her panties rode up between her folds and Suletta’s shorts were hiked up by their motions until Miorine was leaving a wet trail along Suletta’s thigh. She repositioned her grip on Suletta’s jacket and the tips of her toes barely fluttered along the floor as Suletta continued to move her up and down on her leg. Miorine tipped backward, letting her vision swim as she heard the grunt of Suletta’s exertion and felt the shivering friction of her clit gliding along Suletta’s leg.
There was a brief pause, and then Suletta tilted Miorine’s hip back and now the whole of her clit was grinding onto Suletta and her legs twitched involuntarily as the pace changed and quickened. She shuddered with mounting pleasure and anticipation for the climax to come.
Only to stop.
Miorine took a moment to let her eyes focus and she looked up. The room’s lights lit up Suletta’s red hair, her flushed, coffee-colored skin and her big watery eyes and they looked down at Miorine with open desire with such force like they could pull her in. Miorine waited, then impatient to capture the tempo of her pleasure again she made to move.
And Suletta put a soft but firm hand on her belly, keeping her still.
Mioirine made a small sound of protest.
“No,” Suletta said it directly into her ear. “Tell me who gets to touch you.”
A small puff of air escapes Miorine as Suletta moves her knee, spreading her open against it, wetness seeping through her panties. She tried again but Suletta pinned her fast against the wall.
“We can’t go any further until you say it,” Suletta says.
“Suletta…”
“What?”
Miorine grabbed her dangling tie and pulled her close. “Fuck the Holders,” she whispered fiercely. “Fuck them and what anyone else wants. You’re the only one who gets to touch me. To do this to me.”
The dazed smile on Suletta’s face was so open, so genuine. It made Miorine want to do whatever it took to see it again.
“So stop acting all smug and do this to me,” she hissed through clenched teeth.
Miorine squirmed with need but before Suletta obliged, she grabbed Miorine’s collar and undid it with ease. Wearing only her bra underneath it, Suletta’s pale skin went bumpy as the cool air hit her exposed chest and belly.
Then Suletta siezed the front of her shorts and with a twist of her fingers that would have left her physical therapist applauding and in tears, she released the button and pulled the shorts down, leaving Miorine to kick it off after it fell around her ankles.
Satisfied with her state of undress, Suletta arched over Miorine and as she let Miorine grind against her, she bit softly at her lips with her teeth.
Ah, right, the kiss, Miorine thought faintly before tilting her head back and surrendering to a demanding kiss where Suletta took her tongue into her mouth and sucked on it. Miorine glided her hips back and forth, redoubling the pleasure that was coming to a peak. She felt Suletta all around her, eclipsing the light and filling the small space her body occupied with her strength, her scent and all the little sounds she made as they entwined together. It was heady and exhilarating and it left Miorine feeling lighter than air as she worked herself into a frenetic pace on Suletta’s thigh. She curled forward, her head pressed against Suletta’s jacket, surrounded by her heat and the shuddering sound of her breath as she whispered sweet, hurried words that urged Miorine onward.
And when she did she hewed tightly to Suletta, pulled herself up her leg and coming on it with a final, explosive grunt as she held her tight, arms around her neck, her legs tightly entwined around the one she had been riding on. She took heaving breaths as she remained like that with Suletta bent over her.
She would have been content to stay that way, but Suletta’s hands gripped her and moved her, turning her to face the wall. Suletta knelt, dragging Miorine down with her. Then she sat back, grunting with the exertion, her hot breath on Miorine’s neck.
Suletta’s knees came between Miorine’s legs, and they fell to either side, sliding down Suletta’s thighs. Miorine’s pelvis shivered in one last spasm of pleasure as she became exposed to the recycled dorm air. It cooled her climax that trickled down the insides of her thighs.
She closed her eyes and reclined into Suletta, feeling the rise and fall as they both caught their breath. Miorine placed a surreptitious hand on Suletta’s leg, felt the quiver of her muscles.
But before she could suggest they take a rest, Suletta’s knees parted, forcing Miorine’s legs to spread even further. She felt a pleasant ache in the muscles of her ass and groin, and the tingle of her skin and the frisson of anticipation as Suletta’s hand snaked back down between her legs.
The hard bone of Suletta’s chin pressed into her hair and her sweat-matted bangs blocked her vision, so she felt rather than saw delicate fingers picking at the sodden bush of her pubic hair, reaching down and running up and down the length of one wet fold, then the other, tickling, making her clench, in need of fingers to wrap herself around even as she still throbbed with the pleasant ache of orgasm.
“You wouldn’t want them anyway,” Suletta whispered, her breath tickling at Miorine’s ear. “Schoolboys playing schoolyard games. They wouldn’t know what to do with a woman if she — haha — landed in their lap.”
Her fingers, moving in slow, idle circles around Miorine’s entrance flicked upward, gliding up the underside of Miorine’s clit, made frictionless by soaking wet arousal. Miorine flinched at the sensation, her limbs jerking reflexively. One of her arms went up to the thick tangle of Suletta’s red hair, but the other was pinned in place as Suletta crossed over it with her own arm so she could slip her hand under the undone Asticassia jacket, push Miorine’s bra aside and grope at her breasts, roam over her ribs, sink her fingers into the soft flesh of Miorine’s belly, communicating Miorine’s need and possessiveness through her rough touch.
She pinched Miorine’s clit between two fingers and stroked her in long, strong motions that quickened into short, sharp motions that caused Miorine’s breath to hitch into hiccuping sighs.
“They should stick to their joysticks,” Suletta said. She bit at Miorine’s earlobe and Miorine took in a sharp breath and put her feet against the wall, bracing to push herself hard against Suletta who was keeping up the relentless pressure on her clit. “They can play with their mobile suits if they love them so much. None of them can give you what I give you.”
Suletta’s roaming hand descended and pulled back at the hood of skin that concealed Miorine’s clit, leaving it fully exposed to Suletta’s fingers and she rubbed it mercilessly. Miorine bit her lip to the verge of pain and whined, pressing the top of her head against the reassuring presence of Suletta’s chine. Her legs thrashed where they were propped uselessly over Suletta’s knees as her next orgasm seized her body and quaked through her limbs.
Then her eyes, stung by sweat, widened in alarm as Suletta plunged two fingers into her swollen red pussy. She tried to close her legs but they were still pinned by Suletta’s knees. The sudden intrusion felt huge and seemed to reach all the way up to her brain with the way it sent electricity sparking up the length of her body. Suletta curled her fingers and now she was stroking at Miorine’s sensitive clit from inside, fingers fluttering against her g-spot as her other hand pressed down on it from above. Spasms shook Miorine and she reached down with shaking hands to grab at Suletta’s wrists. But her fingers feel like they’re detached from her, a thousand miles away as her brain floated in a sea of numbing white pleasure, like sea foam.
Her next orgasm crashes up against the one that was only just trailing off and this one was intense, feeling not as intense but deeper, like something was being pulled out of her, that Suletta’s fingers coaxed out of her as they continued their relentless press against the sensitive spot inside her. As she lost herself in the pleasure, she felt Suletta move behind her, gently descending to the floor and causing Miorine to grunt in a way that would have embarrassed her if she were more in control of her faculties.
Miorine lay there for several minutes, panting and sprawled against Suletta like she was laying in a hammock, feeling the slick heat of her orgasm dribble out of her and drip into a damp spot on the cheap dorm carpet between her legs. Sweat soaked through her school uniform, adhering the red tie to the soft swell of one breast. Her limbs felt loose and slack, her arms limp on the carpet on either side of Suletta.
“Hoooo…” Suletta let out a long breath as she lay on the floor.
With shaking limbs and a distant ache between her legs, Miorine flopped around, managing to turn herself around to face Suletta. She rested on Suletta’s chest, looking up into sea-green eyes.
“I think… I’m tired.”
“I bet.” Miorine turned her head and coughed. After clearing her throat she locked eyes with Suletta again. “I mean… it must be a lot of work, showing me what those schoolyard boys could never do.”
Suletta’s eyes widened and her face went tomato red. “W-w-w-w-w-”
“I never knew my innocent Mercurian girl had thoughts like that,” Miorine said with a smile. “Been sitting on those for a while?”
“W-W-W-W-W-”
Miorine brought up her hand and played with the knot of Suletta’s tie, feeling her throat bob as she tried to speak. “I’m telling Guel what you called him.”
“W-W-WAIT! Um! I was… I was… I mean! You! I… You… uh… you…”
Miorine dragged herself up to Suletta’s lips and planted a kiss there, short and sweet. “Belong to you,” she said. “Because you’re absolutely right. So greedy for me.”
“Please don’t tell him.” Suletta sighed and dropped her head onto the carpet, staring up at the ceiling.
“I shouldn’t have brought it up,” Miorine said. She hiked her legs up and pushed away, settling down in a kneeling position, straddling Suletta’s midsection. She swept her sweaty bangs out of her eyes. “After all, we’re not finished yet.”
“W-we —”
“Your turn.” Miorine’s eyes flicked over Suletta’s body, the way the school uniform’s fabric stretched over her shoulders, her chest.
Suletta flushed and nodded. Then she shivered as Miorine ran her hand up the slope of Suletta’s breast, firm under the fabric of the uniform. Fabric that was far too thick. She moved to undo the clasp under the tie. Her fingers fumbled with the catch, causing the tie to flop around, finally settling on Suletta’s face.
“Ack,” she said. Miorine frowned.
“Stupid little thing…” she said, growing red-faced and scowling as she bent over closer and wrestled with the clasp at Suletta’s collar with both hands. “Who designed this? No wonder it’s outdated.”
Suletta pulled the tie off her face and tried to look down, mostly succeeding at looking at the tip of her own nose. “Try to press in before —”
“I am! I hate this —!” Miorine fumbled at the tie. Finally, frustrated and impatient she shifted her grip to either side of the uniform’s collar and pulled it apart. The fastenings weren’t especially strong. “Hah!” she shouted triumphantly. The clasp broke apart and Miorine was rewarded with the sight of Suletta’s throat and collarbone.
Impatient, she bent down and pressed a sucking kiss against Suletta’s throat, indulging in the warmth and the salty residue of her sweat. She was so involved in this that it took a while for her to become aware of a fluttering motion in Suletta’s neck. She looked up and saw Suletta shaking.
With laughter.
Both hands over her mouth, lying back on the carpet, mouth open and laughing.
Miorine felt indignation well inside her. “H-hey! Shut up! What’s so funny?”
“I’m sorry!” Suletta said. “You — you were just so angry!”
Then Miorine felt her lips twitch up into a smile despite her best efforts and soon she fell forward and started laughing too, thumping her fists against Suletta’s shoulders and muffling herself against her chest.
“This uniform is an antique!” Suletta said. “They don’t make them anymore! And you just ripped it!”
“Good! I never liked the color!”
They fell to laughing harder and they held each other as they did.
Suletta’s laughter stopped with a surprised hiccup when Miorine suddenly tore at the clasps again, exposing Suletta further and pushing her bra over her breasts. She moved both hands over them, squeezing. “Anything that gets between me and these,” Miorine said, matter-of-fact, “is going to get destroyed.”
“I’ll — I’ll have to rethink my entire wardbrobe,” Suletta said, with a wriggly little smile. She puffed her chest out, reveling in the way that Miorine made her feel desirable.
“Don’t tempt me.” Miorine took one handful of Suletta’s soft flesh and massaged it, kneading her breast. She ducked her head down and licked at the underside of Miorine’s breast, sucked along the side, nibbling at her skin, enough to leave a mark of her presence. She took one brown nipple between her thumb and forefinger, rolling it between her digits until she felt it go hard under her ministrations. She watched through the bangs of her silver hair as Suletta squirmed and moaned.
She could feel Suletta’s muscles begin to go slack. She worked so hard. All the time. Regaining control of her body, pushing herself to become stronger. Feeling the tension of those exertions melt under Miorine’s care was a profound privilege, something private. She luxuriated in the way she could put Suletta at ease. In wanting Suletta, she gave her succor. She shifted, lowering herself onto Suletta and continuing to massage her breasts and mouthing at the soft skin of their undersides, licking at the sweat. She felt the clammy warmth of Suletta’s skin against her own and rubbed herself against her thigh, wincing at the sweet ache of her still-sensitive clit. She moved down further until she was fact-to-crotch. She reached to undo Suletta’s green school shorts and this time, she managed to unbutton it correctly.
“Just relax,” Miorine said as she pulled down Suletta’s shorts, taking her panties along with it. She could feel pungent heat against her face. “Let me make you feel good,” she continued as she descended, tongue out in anticipation, between Suletta’s legs.
It was some time later and one very nice dinner later when Miorine and Suletta stood with their friends at Asticassia’s transfer station.
“It’s nice to see this place again,” Ojelo said as they stood amid the bustle arrivals and departures streaming through the station. “Kinda makes me feel like a kid again. Though it makes me a little sore that they improved the food after we graduated.”
“If you had any complaints about the food you should have said so,” Miorine said. “The Benerit Group was always open to criticism.”
She shot the rest of Earth House a look to let them know that yes, she was in fact joking. They chuckled and Ojelo gave her a good-natured nudge with his elbow.
“Still, it really is nice to see this place again,” he said.
“Certainly nicer with fewer bullet holes,” Nuno said, earning him a smack on the shoulder from Lilique.
“This new Earth House is too nice,” Chu Chu said, arms crossed. “If they’re not careful they’re going to end up all spoiled like all the other wimps this place spits out.”
“It could certainly do with more animals.” Aliya looked around. Beyond the transfer station were the wide green spaces of the campus. “This whole place in general, really.”
“I’ll swing by every once in a while,” Till said as he embraced Nika. “You need to see familiar faces in person every now and again.”
“Thank you,” Nika said. “I’ll be fine, but I’d love to see you all whenever you can make the time.”
“You’ll be done before you know it,” Martin said.
“That’s right.” Miorine nodded. “And when you finish, you’ll get the biggest, most lucrative offer from the best corporations. When you do, bring it to me and I’ll make you an even better offer. I need my best mechanic working for me full-time.”
“I don’t know if people are rushing to hire ex-convicts,” Nika said.
“Half the corporations are ex-convicts,” Nuno said. “It’s almost like a second degree for these people.”
“I’ll visit too!” Lilique said. “We’ve got so much catching up to do!”
They all traded their goodbyes. After Nika embraced the last of them she looked around. “Where’s Suletta?”
“Hm?” Miorine tilted her head. “She should be — oh, there.”
Ojelo raised an eyebrow, having really taken a look at Miorine for the first time since they joined up to depart. “Are you okay? You look like you fell down.”
Miorine quickly smooth down the wrinkles on her blouse. “I’m fine. Just… hm. Yes. I’m fine. Suletta!” She quickly ignored the question and raised a hand.
“Sorry! Sorry!” Suletta said, huffing.
Miorine glared. “Have you been running? I know the gravity’s lighter here but if you’re going to push yourself you shouldn’t do it alone.”
Suletta waved her concern away. “It’s fine. It’s fine. I just… I wasn’t trying to run. I just… needed some help.”
“Help with what?”
Trailing Suletta was a baggage carrier piloted by a Haro. In its carrying space was a single box that looked very, very familiar to Miorine. She crossed her arms and shot Suletta a glare that Suletta returned with a blush.
“Oh,” Martin bent over the box, reaching out with one hand. “Did you pick up some souvenirs? Ow! Why’d you hit me?”
Suletta had very lightly smacked the back of his hand as it was reaching for one of the flaps. “It’s not souvenirs! It’s… um. It’s… um. Um. Um. Things. That I forgot. I left them. Then forgot them.”
“From three years ago?”
Suletta’s smile was frozen to her face as she nodded vigorously. “Yup! Uh-huh! Um. I should… get this checked!”
“I’ll go with you,” Miorine said coolly. The Haro piloted the box alongside them as they walked to a nearby counter.
“Really?” Miorine said as they went out of earshot of their friends. “The entire box?”
“Well…” Suletta scratched below her ear. “We might need spares. You did have trouble undoing the clasps.”
Miorine pouted, and pinched Suletta on the shoulder.
