Work Text:
Shiro couldn't believe his eyes this time, in front of him stood a messy brown haired boy wearing a blue polo shirt with a white stripe around his chest and brown shorts and worn red shoes. His cheeks were bandaged with several cuts and bruises that adorned his little hands and feet. The child couldn't be more than 10 years old considering how small the child was.
Behind him towered nearly 8 feet tall, a humanoid bear robot with faux fur that was predominantly orange except for the red shoulder and leg pads and decorations around the eyes. The eyes and paws don't match the color of the fur. His head is covered in a brown robe that hangs down, though it doesn't cover all of his robotic features making him a bit conspicuous.
What made him speechless was that the robot towering behind the boy, who was staring at him with yellow eyes was the main star of a franchise that had existed for decades, the Fazbear company that is Freddy Fazbear himself!! Would the day be even more chaotic?!
Something moved from behind Freddy, a yellow triangle was sticking out from behind the bear's back, the faint sound of bells could be heard. Wait... Looks like Shiro knows who it is... Damn, he's having a really bad day now...
Staring intently at the culprit who brought them forward, who was currently just staring at him even though there was a hopeful look in his flat eyes. His gray hair tied low and the scarf draped around his neck, his son Shasune, his eldest son who normally wouldn't expect such a thing. Hahah... It's been a really long day...

Shiro led them into his house, where at this time Shasune was holding the boy's hand, leading him to the large sofa in front of the lit television. Wait... is the TV on?
A small head peeked out from behind the couch, black hair slightly messy with big curious gray eyes, looking at the child who was being held by Shasune.
"Who is Sune?" his voice is small but loud and smooth. His eyes flash funny, making anyone who sees him exasperated.
"Oh! A child! A child! He is so cute!" a loud and happy voice from another direction made the child on the sofa avert his eyes and see an animatronic resembling a sun. The base color is yellow with a glow surrounding the faceplate, the permanent smiling face doesn't scare the kid on the couch one bit.
Waving his hand, the boy greeted the huge giant animatronic cheerfully. Making Sun– return his wave with no less enthusiasm making the bell on his wrist sound.
"Your new friends Kyu, now, let's go out." said Shasune as he led the child he was holding closer to the sofa.
"New friend??" averting his eyes, Kyu or Arkyu stared at his brother with big twinkling eyes, happy to know he had a new playmate.
"Yap, but this one is special." said Shasune while patting the head of the child he was holding lightly, making the child look curiously at Shasune. Still feeling strange to the kindness he received from Shasune.
"He's going to be your new big brother!" Shasune smiled faintly announcing it as if it was nothing, earning various reactions from the people in the room with him.
The two animatronics reacted differently with the bear animatronic displaying disbelieving eyes and the sun animatronic welcoming the news with such enthusiasm that he practically shook on the spot, unable to contain his excitement.
Shiro showed a surprised reaction but quickly relaxed and let out a small sigh while smiling faintly, shaking his head slowly in understanding of Shasune's attitude. Arkyu had the most different reaction, he gasped with joy and quickly climbed onto the back of the couch (which made Sun panic) and got down to hug the child Shasune was holding. You can see the difference in their height, where at this time Arkyu was right under the boy's eyes.
"New brothers! Hello! My name is Akyu! What's your name??"
Awakened from his trance, the boy tensed a little in Arkyu's arms but started to relax a little. The boy nervously answered Arkyu's excited question.
"M-my name is..... Gregory....." his voice was low and hoarse, with a hint of tiredness and stress in it. All the stress and trauma made it hard to believe the claims Shasune announced, as if it was just a dream that would just disappear when he woke up again. But seeing how serious Shasune's words were and how enthusiastic Arkyu was he couldn't help but believe it a bit.
Putting the bad thoughts out of his head, Gregory could only hope, that this wasn't all a hoax and that he could finally have a family that truly loved him.

Sunlight seeps in from behind the window curtains of a room with soft blue nuances, not much furniture in it, only one bed, a large wardrobe and a study table placed right beside the bed.
On the bed, a child with a body too small for his age and messy brown hair lay comfortably curled up in a thick blanket with a galaxy pattern. The sunlight slightly disturbed his sleep, making him slightly open his tired eyes and survey his surroundings.
Gregory doesn't remember sleeping there, he remembers sleeping in the hard seat of a stolen van with Freddy beside him and the daycare worker in the back seat pensively talking to his twins (as they called each other). He couldn't remember sleeping in a big room with soft blankets and a soft mattress that was too comfortable, which almost made him fall asleep to go back to sleep.
After a moment of pensive thought, realization seemed to hit him right in the face. They were brought here by a teenager or not? announced that he adopted them and Freddy and Sun/Moon were allowed to live there without having to worry about Fazbear Entertainment.
It really wasn't just a dream, he was actually allowed to live and settle here and not worry about Fazbear Entertainment who always followed them wherever they went, wanting their facilities back.
But Gregory couldn't believe it too much, it could just be another trick the adults gave him. Giving him trust and assurance only to destroy him in the end.
Too deep in thought Gregory did not notice the door to his room opened and a small head popped out from behind the door, which moved its curious eyes around the room and ended up on the pensive figure of Gregory.
Arkyu- who was staring at Gregory with his big shining gray eyes, opened the bedroom door fully and ran towards Gregory's bed, even though he tripped a little on his way and almost made him fall, but quickly stood up straight again and stepped his tiny feet towards the bed.
"New brother! Good morning!" Surprisingly Arkyu was suddenly beside Gregory making the boy scream in surprise and reflexively retreated backwards to fall off the bed awkwardly, a grin could be heard from Gregory and a chuckle of joy from Arkyu who crawled to the end of the bed where Gregory fell. Popped his head out of bed at Gregory and giggled guiltlessly.
Gregory rubbed his head slowly looking at Arkyu who giggled happily, a small frown appeared on his face, there was an irritated look in his eyes but a slight smile tugged at his lips which usually issued curses and pearls of wisdom which were very unsuitable for a child of his age. Living on the street really affected him.
"What's wrong.. Arkyu, right?" Arkyu nodded his head enthusiastically making Gregory a little nervous seeing how cheerful and excited Arkyu was.
"Yes, Arkyu... What did you come here for?" Gregory mentally hit himself on the head for asking such a rude question. His words had the impression asking a delinquent child he used to meet!
"Oh! Dad said we'd have breakfast! So Akyu was sent here to call brother!!" Arkyu spoke without bothering Gregory's words at all, he seemed too young to know the meaning of the words spoken and Gregory was grateful for that.
Gregory watched Arkyu trying to get off the bed, his small hands resting on the edge of the bed, shifting his feet first to get off and stand on his two feet. Now that Gregory noticed him, Arkyu was wearing an oversized blue hoodie on his tiny frame, literally nearly drowning him in a sea of clothes. Knee-length brown pants sticking out from under the hoddie he was wearing and two white socks adorning his small legs. That kid looks really cute.
"Come on brother! We're leaving!" Arkyu raised his hands up enthusiastically, spoke excitedly, practically almost jumping on the spot.
Sighing softly, Gregory slowly stood up from his seat, sleepiness still in the back of his mind but remembering Arkyu's enthusiastic concern, he didn't want to disappoint the little boy who so openly accepted him into the family. It seemed he was starting to get melted by that little boy.

And here he is, sitting at the dining table with a plate of pancakes and melted chocolate on top, served sweetly in front of him, with a glass of milk to complete his breakfast.
Gregory glanced up, saw Shiro with a gray apron covering his body, cleaning the dirty kitchen table with a rag in his hand. Subconsciously humming a song he didn't recognize.
"Eat Gregory, the food won't run out by itself." Shiro's voice surprised Gregory who was caught watching, his tone flat but warm at the same time. Making Gregory even more confused.
"I know you're looking for Freddy and Sun right..." he continued. "Finish your food first and I'll take you to meet them." Shiro turned towards Gregory, removed the apron from his body and hung it in the space provided.
Arkyu, who was in the seat beside Gregory nodded in agreement, despite not understanding most of the conversation. His mouth was full of sweet pancakes, making him look like a squirrel eating. So adorable.
Gregory didn't see where Shasune was, so he just glanced back and forth between Shiro and Arkyu before nodding his head slowly, his hand started to take the fork and moved to cut the topmost pancake, even though it was a little careless he at least managed to do it.
Piercing the top piece, Gregory brought it to his mouth and started to eat it. The sweet taste immediately spread in his mouth, the melting taste of the melted chocolate was very delicious and sweet. The texture of the pancakes is also soft and dense, just right for his taste and also not too sweet which can give his a headache.
Unknowingly tears welled up in her eyes, not because the pancakes were so delicious, that was also one of the reasons but the main thing wasn't that. He felt very warm and cared for, the little attentions that other people thought were insignificant but meant a lot to him.
He wasn't completely sure of his feelings, everything was too confusing for him to accept. Just yesterday he was still on the streets, fighting for his miserable life and a warm place to sleep. Which brings him to the horror of a place full of bright neon lights and hazy happiness.
Ends up being brought into a family by a teenager who promises him protection and a place he can call home.
Maybe... Maybe it's not so bad at all...
