Chapter Text
Sirius shifts to accommodate Marlene as she makes herself comfortable, cuddling up to his side on the couch. She grins up at him with a fag between her teeth, and he smirks back at her, pulling out his lighter just as she lifts her own, two flames lighting the end of the cigarette.
Marlene chuckles before inhaling, her smoke catching alight. She settles into Sirius’ side, her free hand reaching up to lace her fingers with the hand he has draped over the back of the lounge.
Sirius flips his lighter closed, flicking it open quickly, watching the flame spark to life, before snapping it closed again. He continues to play with it, and Marlene watches, entranced by the flame as she smokes.
“Having a good time?” Sirius asks absently, holding the lighter open for longer periods, flicking the lighter between his fingers in between, fidgety trick shots to stop himself from moving while Marlene is resting at his side.
“Hmm, I’ve been to better parties,” She says. “You? What are you even doing here, anyway?”
Sirius smirks, glancing down at the woman at his side. Her neck is outstretched as she leans her head to the side, resting it on the back of the couch, on his arm, really. She’s inspecting the tattoo on his wrist, the constellation, or perhaps the number that was scrawled there from earlier in the day, faded now.
The lighter is warm in his hand. He flicks it open, holding it by her neck, before lighting it, the flame licking a hair's breadth away from the skin. He’s not sure what he expected from it, a flinch, a smack, not the slight moan that rumbles at the back of her throat.
Sirius’ lip twitches, “Oh, you like that?”
“Mhm,” She says, not moving an inch but to bare her neck further, the air around them filling with smoke as she exhales.
Sirius leans in, placing his tongue flat against the nape of her neck, flicking his lighter open and chasing his tongue with the flame as he runs it along her skin.
“Think you could do that in some more intimate areas?” Marlene asks on a shaky exhale.
“Anywhere you want.” he murmurs in her ear. She shivers.
“Let’s get out of here.”
