Danny wanted to hug his little sister, he wanted her safe and he wanted her healthy, sadly thanks to that pathetic fruit loop he couldn’t have what he wanted. He couldn’t see her smile, he couldn’t hear her laugh, he couldn’t feel her snuggle up against him during movie night all because of the squirming parasite that laid at his feet. All he feel of her right now is her core in his right hand.
He was feeling satisfied hearing the rejected vampire beg for mercy that will never come. Seeing him covered in his own ectoplasm and blood, his right arm laying on the other side of the floating island and his core laying shattered in front of him. Knowing that the older Halfa could never transform again was very satisfying, but Danny wanted him to suffer more. To have Vladimir understand and feel how powerless Danny and Ellie felt all these years because of him.
Danny reached down and grabbed the man by the hair lifting him up so he could look into the man's eyes.
“Pl-ple-please Da-Daniel ha-have mercy,” Vlad begged “thi-this isn’t wh-what Dan-Danielle wo-would want.”
“You dare use her name in order to beg for your pathetic life!” Danny hissed “After all you did to her!”
Danny threw Vlad into a boulder and watched him crumble to the ground. He started to slowly stalk his way over to him but then he heard someone call his name. He started looking around and saw the specter speeder flying towards him.
It came to a stop a couple of meters away from him. His mother and father jumped out of the speeder, guns aimed at Vlad and slowly walked towards him.
“Danny, we know you want to kill him but just wait for a while.” His father ordered him.
“Dad, he killed Ellie, he killed your daughter!” Danny yelled “all he deserves is death!”
“We know sweetie and he will die for it, but we still need him to tell us what he did to Ellie,” his mother told him.
“We know what he did, he destroyed her human half,” Danny began to cry “we won’t be able to hear her laugh, hear about her travels, all because of him.”
He could see his mother and father start to tear up. He felt betrayed by his own parents wanting to stop him from getting his revenge on the parasite who killed his little sister, their daughter. All that needed to be done now was to kill him so that no one else could be hurt by him. This pathetic worm should have been killed a long time ago. It was his fault that she was gone. Why couldn’t they understand that he needed to do this to get justice for all the people he hurt and killed, not just for his sister.
“Danny, what’s that in your hand?” his father asked softly.
“It’s Ellies core, I managed to save it before Vlad could crush it,” Danny said softly.
Danny could see his mother and father’s brain start to work, then his mother started walking towards Vlad with her gun by her side. When she finally got near Vlad she kicked him onto his back.
“My dear Maddie, have you come to save me?” Vlad huffed out.
Without saying anything his mom lifted her gun then shot him in the chest. Vlad looked at his mom with a look of utter betrayal, even when dying he was a delusional fruit loop. The little life Vlad had slowly disappeared.
“Danny get in the speeder and keep Ellies core safe until we make it to Frostbite,” his mom told him.
