Chapter Text
Luo Binghe had started working at a coffee shop to help pay for his mother’s hospital expenses, it was one of many part time jobs. It was supposed to be easy, considering this wasn’t the first coffee shop slash cafe that he’d worked at but his boss, Shen Qingqiu, absolutely hated him. The coffee shop manager Ming Fan hadn’t wanted to even hire him but the head barista Ning Yingying wasn’t having it, complaining that they needed more experienced baristas other than herself and that Luo Binghe was the perfect candidate, which seemed to give both Manager Ming and Mr Shen more reason to absolutely hate him.
They gave him hell, nitpicking at everything he did, complaining about how he made drinks, or how long he took on a task, or did inventory. It was a nightmare. Ming Fan had even accused him of fraternizing with Ning Yingying, all in hopes of getting him reprimanded by Mr Shen, when she essentially treated him like a little brother. Nothing he ever did was enough but he couldn't quit — the pay was just too damn good. It didn’t matter how much of a prick Mr Shen was, he paid above a fair wage, and he seemed to treat all of the other employees equitably.
Plus, considering how bad the job market was he was lucky to have even found the place.
Now all he could do was take the constant torment in silence and just keep telling himself it was worth the extra almost fourteen thousand yuan a month.
“Hey, A-Luo, do you mind staying a bit later to help deep clean the drains?” Ning Yingying looked at him pleadingly. “I’m sorry I’m springing this on you so last minute, but Xiaoxiao says he has an exam he can’t miss today! Plus Mr Shen is supposed to be coming back from his trip tomorrow. You know how picky he is!”
He really didn’t have the time, he needed to drop off a check to the hospital before the billing department closed and he still needed to sleep before he had to go to his night job, but Luo Binghe knew that if he said no someone would find a way to blame him.
Swallowing down a sigh he said, “Yeah, okay, but what time will I make it out of here? I have to drop off a check to the hospital.”
“You should be out of here by seven! That Ming Fan left before asking if there was anything to do to help. Such a jerk.”
Luo Binghe felt it safer to not respond to Ning Yingying’s comment about Ming Fan and told her he would help. He planned to rush through the rest of his closing work and then try to get the drains done by six-thirty so he could get to the hospital before the office closed at seven. It would be cutting it close but he was sure he could make it. He didn’t want to get a past-due fee tacked on to the already expensive bill.
They made it through the rest of the evening shift without a hitch and Luo Binghe had luckily been able to get started on the drains while Ning Yingying dealt with the last of the customers.
By the time they finished everything it was six-forty and Luo Binghe was rushing out of the door. The hospital was a stop away by train and then another 10 minute walk. He would be more than cutting it close, he wasn’t even sure he’d make it.
“Fuck.” He knew he should’ve just said no.
When he made it to the hospital he’d actually caught one of the people from the billing department that he recognized as she was leaving at just after seven. And he was able to convince her to go all the way back up to her office and process the bill, so it wouldn’t be considered late. Luo Binghe wasn’t sure if it was the light flirting he pulled or the pity but regardless he was relieved. He hadn’t been able to visit his mom like he’d planned but he would make sure to call her as soon as he got off of his night shift. His mom had always been an early riser.
Now, he just needed to get home and rest before his night shift, luckily it was only a fifteen minute walk from the hospital. Luo Binghe felt dead on his feet but this wasn’t anything new.
—
“Late.” Luo Binghe almost jumped out of his skin when he came into the coffee shop for his mid-shift the next day. Shen Qingqiu was looking down his nose at the barista, perched at his desk in the back office, “You look as sloppy as usual.” He sneered.
Luo Binghe quickly bowed, “I apologize Mr Shen, it won’t happen again.” He hadn’t even been that late, only 6 minutes, but now his timecard was going to look worse as Mr Shen continued to hold him up.
“This isn’t the first time you’ve been late, beast. Do you even care about how you are inconveniencing others?”
Still bowing, Luo Binghe heard the sound of Mr Shen’s fan whipping open.
“Rude and negligent. Do you think you have all of the time in the world to stand there, move and go help your coworkers!”
Luo Binghe took a deep breath, before he said something he regretted, and raised his head to continue the motions of clocking in. He quickly put on his apron and went to the front to help.
Mr Shen glared at him over his fan until he was out of sight.
—
Shen Qingqiu watched as the beast apologized to his coworkers at the front while he started on orders that had been piling up. As the owner, he attempted to help earlier but Ning Yingying forced him from behind the counter, her opinion of his barista skills was lackluster at best. So, he was forced to watch as Gongyi Xiao and Ning Yingying fought their way through the midday rush. He’d bussed a few tables here and there but found that he was getting in the way more than helping. It was one of the reasons why he typically came to visit during the slower late afternoon and evening shifts.
But he had been gone for almost a week and wanted to make sure that everything was in working order. It was, of course, because Ning Yingying and Ming Fan were extremely dedicated to their jobs. Such is why Shen Qingqiu was so disgusted by that Luo Binghe’s work ethic. Constantly late, sloppy, careless, the only reason he hadn’t been fired was because Ning Yingying found something to be desired in his skills as a barista. Her other reason was that his face alone brought up sales, which had only proceeded to piss Shen Qingqiu off all the more. The little pissant wasn’t worth his salt in Shen Qingqiu’s opinion.
He snapped his fan closed before grabbing the remote to the office air conditioner to turn it up, the rest of the staff felt he kept the office too cold but if he didn’t he would sweat through his clothing. Shen Qingqiu did not bode well in the heat. He had to finish making the rest of next month’s schedule so he could post it but he couldn’t focus after the week that he’d had.
Going to visit his father was one of Shen Qingqiu’s least favorite things to do. Especially since he hadn't even known the man until he was almost a teenager. Tianlang Jun was more than a little negligent but he was trying to make up for that with these pointless family trips with him and his adopted son Zhuzhi Lang. But he couldn’t say no even though he hated them. He was indebted to the man for getting him out of his foster parents’, the Qiu’s, house and helping him go to school. Tianlang Jun had even set money aside to invest in Shen Qingqiu’s coffee shop Qing Jing. The man had done much for him so he went on those stupid bonding trips because it was obvious the man was not just guilty but lonely.
His wife had died in childbirth while he was overseas working years before he’d met Zhuzhi Lang and then found Shen Qingqiu, a product of an affair he had before he met his wife. Not only that, Zhuzhi Lang and Shen Qingqiu lived away from their father so they didn’t see the man often. If those trips kept his father from blowing up his phone or showing up on his doorstep, he would continue to join them, even when he always came back with a headache.
Shen Qingqiu finished scheduling and decided to go check the front before he left. It didn’t matter how much he did up the back office, it wasn’t his home. He never felt completely comfortable there so he preferred to spend as little time there as possible.
He went ahead and put on his jacket before tossing some paperwork, his laptop, and his keys and phone into his bag and went up front.
The sun was already beginning to set so Gongyi Xiao was turning on the faerie lights around the cafe and lighting candles. The rush had long since ended and Ning Yingying was finishing up restocking while Luo Binghe was bussing and cleaning tables off. Everything seemed to be going smoothly.
“Mr Shen! Come and try this new seasonal drink I’m testing.”
He sat his bag on the cafe bar before joining Ning Yingying behind the counter.
“I already had Xiaoxiao and A-Luo try it so I can guarantee that it won’t be as bad as the last time!”
For as amazing of a barista as Ning Yingying was, she was terrible at coming up with seasonal and specialty drinks. If he hadn’t known her prior to opening the shop he probably wouldn’t have hired her, but he didn’t know how to say no to the sweet girl.
Luckily, she’d been right and the drink didn’t taste so bad. It had a spiciness to it that Shen Qingqiu could tell came from clove which complimented the almond milk she’d used. “You put vanilla and caramel in this?”
“I did! Is it too much?” She pouted.
“A bit too sweet, put a bit less of the vanilla in and instead of using caramel syrup just put caramel sauce on top.”
“Told you!” Gongyi Xiao said as he joined them behind the counter to take a customer’s order.
“Hmph, whatever.”
“Other than that, this is one of the best drinks you’ve made up yet.” He pat Ning Yingying on the head affectionately.
“Thanks Mr Shen!” Ning Yingying practically purred at the praise. “I’ll fix it up and present it to you again the next time you come in!”
Shen Qingqiu nodded in acknowledgment before he offered to take the cup to the back.
“I’ve got it Mr Shen.”
Shen Qingqiu glared at the beast but kept his mouth shut, not wanting to upset any of the customers within earshot.
Luo Binghe reached past Shen Qingqiu before taking the cup and other dishes he’d collected to the dish pit.
Ning Yingying looked like she wanted to say something but hadn’t the chance before Shen Qingqiu was heading to the front door and out onto the busy street.
—
To Luo Binghe’s chagrin he had been called into his restaurant job on his one day off that week. He’d been serving at the four star restaurant Bai Zhan for almost a year but he really didn’t work often. He was left on standby and called in when needed, and it so happened that night was one of those times. The main reason he was on standby was because the place was an almost hour commute by train and bus, so while the money was good, it wasn’t fruitful if you made that commute more than three times a week both ways.
He’d gone into his shift and only got yelled at by Head Chef Liu once so he was counting the shift as a win. Especially because a foreign couple tipped him for absolutely no reason and no matter how many times he’d told them he didn’t need the tip they’d insisted. So that was an extra three hundred yuan he could use to get his mom some warmer clothing for the hospital as the weather cooled down.
There was only thirty minutes before the end of his shift and he hadn’t been sat in a while so Luo Binghe felt it was safe to say he’d be cut soon, but of course not because the host apologetically informed Luo Binghe that he’d sat his section.
The hope was that the table would be quick and he could actually get some rest before he had to report to his moving job at five am.
When he walked over to his section he spotted an older gentleman in a suit sitting with a pale younger man with inky black hair to his shoulders seated at his table.
“Welcome in. How can I get you started this evening?”
The older man eyed him strangely before the younger man spoke, “We’ll have your ‘chef’s choice starter’ to share and two whisky sours. We will mostly be drinking tonight.”
“Of course!” He repeated the order back to them before asking, “Do you have a specific whisky in mind?”
The older man finally spoke up, “Doesn’t matter as long as it’s top shelf.”
Luo Binghe nodded before he turned to go put in the orders.
“You know I don’t like sour things, A-Lang.” The older man whined.
“You were the one who just sat there and stared at the server.”
“Yeah, yeah. But… does he look oddly familiar to you?”
There was a pause.
“Not really.”
“Hm.”
—
The table hadn’t left. It was an hour and a half after when his shift should’ve been over and they were still there.
They’d run up their tab a ton with the amount of drinks they had ordered and had only gotten one more starter since they finished the last. Not only that, the older man kept looking at him funny and it was starting to make him uncomfortable. He was this close to asking the closing server to take them. He just wanted to leave.
He decided he would check up on the table one last time before telling them another server would take over.
“Excuse me gentlemen, how is everything?”
The older man cleared his throat, “Wonderful. Thank you!”
“That’s good.” He put on his brightest smile, “I wanted to inform you that another server will be taking over your table. My shift is over.”
“Oh, is that so! We’re sorry if we kept you.” The older man smiled, his eyes oddly soft. “I hate to keep you any longer, but can I ask you a question — a personal one?”
“Um… sure?”
“If you’re uncomfortable, by all means ignore my father.”
“Oh no! It’s fine. What is it?”
“You look oddly familiar so I wanted to know if I’ve met you or perhaps your parents before?”
It was an odd question but it made sense that the man asked considering how he’d been staring at Luo Binghe.
“My mother’s name is Dai Yu. And I doubt you would have known her, before she got sick she was a cleaning lady.”
“Does the name Su Xiyan ring a bell?”
“No?”
“How old are you?”
“Twenty.”
“Hm. Alright, thank you…?”
“Luo Binghe.”
“Thank you Luo Binghe. And we’ll take the check.” The man smiled sadly.
“Of course.” He bowed slightly before heading off to print the check. Who was that guy? Who the hell is Su Xiyan?
—
“He looks just like her.” Tianlang Jun said as they sat in the back of a private car, his leg bouncing nervously underneath him.
“Maybe, but you could be wrong.”
“There was no body. The hospital disposed of our child’s body before I could get back saying it was an ‘error in paperwork.’ That bastard Lao Gongzhu shrugged it off even though Xiyan was his chief surgeon! I never got to see the baby Xiyan grew for us — the boy that looks so much like her. He’s the right age, for the love of god the boy had my eyes!”
“But you don’t have any proof, it’s all speculation.”
“That may be so, but I can get proof.”
“How?”
“I’ll start by finding this ‘Dai Yu’ woman first. I would bet all of the money in my Swiss account that they aren’t biologically related.”
“… You’re going to make me do it aren’t you?”
“Well, you’ve always been better at the whole investigating thing so… yes?”
“Fine.” He took his phone out of his coat pocket before he started typing away at it.
“Thank you, A-Lang.” Tianlang Jun reached over to squeeze his son’s shoulder, “This means a lot.”
“Mm.”
—
It hadn’t been hard to find Dai Yu. With the hints that Zhuzhi Lang had, finding a sick ex-cleaning lady wasn’t nearly as hard as it should’ve been. Did he take completely legal measures to get hospital information? No, but he got results — in less than a week too. He and Tianlang Jun were currently in the very same hospital that Su Xiyan had died in to both of their dismay. But on the brightside, Lao Gongzhu had retired a few years prior so they didn’t have to worry about him and his blackballing.
Tianlang Jun went in on his own for a few minutes before he poked his head out of the door and told Zhuzhi Lang to join him in the small room that Dai Yu shared with one other person who was hidden behind multiple curtains.
“Thank you so much for meeting with us. I apologize for the short notice. This is the son I mentioned bringing with me.” Tianlang Jun bowed and Zhuzhi Lang followed suit.
“Oh, please no need to bow,” she waved the formalities off, “I’m always happy to receive more visitors. My son does his best but I can’t say I’m not a bit lonely.”
He brought up the gift bag he had sitting next to his chair and handed it to her before he sat back down. “Well I’m happy to keep you company. And I hope you enjoy this tea, it’s much better than the hospital crap, and I’m sure you’ll appreciate it more than me.”
Dai Yu laughed softly, “I believe I will! But you didn’t have to bring anything.” She reached into the bag and pulled out a bag of Da-Hong Pao Oolong Tea before almost dropping it as if it had stung her. “Oh, god, I couldn’t.”
“No, please. I really won’t enjoy it nearly as much as you would, I insist.”
“Well then you have to have the first cup with me.” She placed the tea carefully back in the gift bag and left it sitting on her bed with her, “But before that, you said you came because of Binghe?”
“Yes. I did. And I don’t like to mince words, so I will be straightforward with you. I believe he is my son.”
She tensed up. “I’m sorry?”
“Are you biologically related to Luo Binghe, miss?” Zhuzhi Lang spoke up from where he was standing next to his father.
“I- no, I’m not.”
She seemed defensive and Tianlang Jun couldn’t blame her.
“I’m not here to take your son from you. I just… he looks so much like my deceased wife.”
Dai Yu’s eyebrows pinched in thought. “Explain.”
So he did. Tianlang Jun went over his encounter with Luo Binghe and the night of his birth. By the time he was finished Dai Yu had gone from apprehension to disgust to sadness.
“I am so sorry that happened to you. If you would like, I could tell you how I found my son, and we can work from there. But after that, I think it would be best to talk to Binghe about it. The boy is an adult now and I’m sure he would want to be let in on your suspicions.”
“I would appreciate that, and of course. Thank you.”
Dai Yu began telling her tale of how she found a little baby weakly whimpering in a dumpster close to where she lived. Told of how his umbilical cord was still attached and he was freezing cold. He had been thrown away like garbage and she knew that if she had not taken that short cut through the alley to get to her apartment she would have missed him completely and he would have died.
She spoke about how she nursed him back to health herself because she didn’t have insurance and knew she wouldn’t be able to afford the hospital bills. Not only that, Dai Yu feared he would be thrown into the system, as she had been, doomed to be alone and unloved. So, she did her best to bring him back to health and did not sleep for almost three days, losing her job in the process of taking care of this boy she knew needed her. But Dai Yu never once regretted it. Once he was stable, she took him to be added to her family register as her son and she lived on with that secret all the way up until then.
“He doesn’t know. I never thought anyone would come looking for him considering how I found him. I thought I’d spare him from such a horrible past.”
Zhuzhi Lang glanced at his father from where he still stood. The man’s shoulders stiff as he continued to look at Dai Yu, unshed tears creating a sheen over his eyes.
“I don’t know how I’ll ever repay you.” Tianlang Jun bowed his head deeply. “Thank you so much for saving him. From what you said, he had been out there for hours, so thank —” He choked up.
Zhuzhi Lang placed a reassuring hand on his father’s shoulder as he collected himself. “Thank you for finding my boy and being the mother he would have never had.”
There were tears streaking down Dai Yu’s face but she smiled warmly, “I hope you are his father, for his and your own. He deserves a father who would weep at his suffering, one that cares so much.” She reached over and placed a hand on Tianlang Jun’s back and gently rubbed it in a way that could only be called motherly. “Would you like his number?”
She removed her hand when the man sat up, “No, I would prefer it if you told him about our meeting today and gave him my number.” He pulled out his business card holder and placed a card on the table next to her bed. “I did not make the best first impression and I’m sure just calling him would make him more uncomfortable. Plus, I don’t think it’s my place to speak on how you found him.”
Dai Lu nodded in understanding, “Alright. I’ll talk to him.” She hesitated, “Do you have a picture of her? Su Xiyan.”
He nodded before producing his phone. “I can send you a picture.”
They exchanged contact information and then a notification went off on Dai Yu’s phone.
She gasped, “He looks just like her. I- She’s beautiful.”
“Thank you.” His expression was pained yet pleased. “She was.”
Not needing for the exchange to continue any longer, Tianlang Jun stood and bowed once more before he and Zhuzhi Lang excused themselves. As they left, Tianlang Jun made a beeline for the front desk, and paid for Dai Lu’s next month of care and board. He wanted to pay for more but sadly that was as far in advance he could go. Regardless, it was the least he could do to help the woman who’d raised his son.
—
Luo Binghe couldn’t count on his ten fingers and toes how many times Mr Shen tore into him during his shift.
The man was relentless to the point that Luo Binghe had actually contemplated walking out on his shift, the money be damned. He couldn’t breathe without Shen Qingqiu sneering at him and it was driving him mad.
It had gotten to the point that Ning Yingying was asking him if he did anything to piss off Mr Shen. Ming Fan had even gotten reprimanded when he tried to intervene and scold Luo Binghe alongside Mr Shen, as he often did. As far as Luo Binghe was concerned, the man was probably just having a shitty day. But god, Luo Binghe didn’t want to deal with it. Especially when he had to go and meet his mom right before he went into his evening job. She was so adamant about him coming that he couldn’t refuse her.
As he attempted to work through the last few tickets he had Ning Yingying tapped him on the shoulder, “I got it A-Luo, why don’t you go and take a break in the back really quick? Mr Shen should be gone by now.” She gave him a smile that was all teeth but didn’t reach past the stress in her brow.
“Huh, okay.”
He let out a breath that he hadn’t even realized he had been holding and started taking off his apron. Luo Binghe would just sit in the back and maybe shut his eyes for ten minutes or so, maybe it would stop the migraine he could feel starting to form behind his eyes.
“What do you think you're doing back here?” Shen Qingqiu said from his spot at his desk, eyes full of accusation.
Damn it Ning Yingying!
The tension that he hadn’t even realized was beginning to leave him had snapped back into place. “I’m taking a break since it’s the end of the rush.”
“Did Ming Fan not get here before you? Why are you taking a break before him?”
“Ning Yingying told me to.”
“Tch.”
That was one thing that Luo Binghe could rely on, Mr Shen’s tendency to back down when it came to Ning Yingying — Luo Binghe thought that maybe even she was starting to realize that too. Regardless, he no longer had it in him to sit at one of the dining chairs that had been dragged back there to rest his eyes. He felt like something bad would happen if he took his eyes off of Mr Shen for even a moment, so he decided to go and sit out back. It had gotten colder but it wasn’t too bad. He checked his phone quickly before placing it in his pocket and crouching down, his back leaning against the concrete of the building. Luo Binghe wasn’t necessarily comfortable but sitting out there beat having a hole form in his skull from how hard Mr Shen was glaring at him.
The man needs to remove that giant stick from his ass. Or, for the love of god, get laid or something! That has to be it . Luo Binghe thought to himself.
It wasn’t like the man was unattractive, well as long as he didn’t open his mouth. His skin was flawless, his eyes were a green that was extremely calming despite the man who bore them, and his hair was thick and bone straight. Shen Qingqiu was a classic beauty yet still extremely handsome. Luo Binghe didn’t know what he looked like underneath his clothing, but from what he could tell, Shen Qingqiu looked good. No one with a face like Mr Shen’s could possibly have a disappointing body.
If only to get out his frustrations he would fuck the ever loving shit out of Shen Qingqiu, the unbearable bitch that he was.
Luo Binghe imagined it often. Just grabbing the smug piece of shit from his chair, forcing him to his knees and shoving his dick down his throat. As embarrassing as it was, Luo Binghe had gotten off on the image of fucking Mr Shen more than he would like to admit. He was sadly his type, if only he could get rid of the shitty attitude.
His break had been long enough so Luo Binghe made his way back through the back door, straight into Mr Shen. He quickly moved to the side as to not get in his way.
“You will be joining the staff and I for dinner this evening.”
It took a moment for his brain to catch up to what Mr Shen had just said, “I’m sorry, I have work tonight.”
“Call off. Ning Yingying wants you to join us so you will.”
“I can’t just call off.”
“For the love of- if it’s about money, how much do you make in a typical shift?”
“I don’t see how —”
“Give me the amount and then call out sick. You will be joining us tonight.”
Luo Binghe didn’t even know what to say. He was stuck somewhere between pissed and confused so he decided to just say a number, “1500 yuan.”
Mr Shen went into his wallet, took out a few bills and threw them at Luo Binghe. “Be there and stay later on shift until six-thirty since you now have nowhere else to be.”
Thinking about his mom Luo Binghe snatched the bills out of the air before snapping at Shen Qingqiu, “I have plans after this shift.”
“Not anymore.” He ran his fingers through his hair and threw it over his shoulder before walking off completely unbothered by Luo Binghe’s small outburst, “And if you leave before six-thirty don’t expect to have a job there after.”
Luo Binghe stood there for a moment to collect himself, still holding the money in his fist seething. That bitch had just treated Luo Binghe like he was some kind of prostitute and for some unexplainable reason he’d started to get hard, so he had a lot to unpack. But instead of doing that he folded and shoved the money into his back pocket and willed his erection down. He took some deep breathes before he texted his mom that he would come and see her the next day with an apology, called his boss at his other job and went back in to finish the fucking shift.
—
Ning Yingying didn’t seem to realize how much whatever she had said to Mr Shen had affected his evening and mood.
“I’m so happy you’ll finally be able to join us! You never come.” She whined.
“I’m usually working so of course I don’t come.”
“Well now you can thank me! Because Mr Shen said he’d make sure you came no matter what.” She looked like she wanted to pat herself on the back, “He always pays for all of us too!”
“That’s great.” He couldn’t fake his enthusiasm even a little bit as they were both scrubbing through the last of the dishes while Ming Fan finished mopping the front.
Ning Yingying stopped washing and looked up at Luo Binghe, “A-Luo, did you not want to come? Did I make a mistake?”
“It’s fine.”
She pouted and tried to get the truth out of Luo Binghe before giving up and sending him to finish up the last of the front of the house work.
Ming Fan looked as bitter as usual but he hadn’t spoken to Luo Binghe since Mr Shen ripped into him. It was one of the few things that Luo Binghe felt he could be grateful to the man for — besides his job of course.
By the time six-thirty rolled around he was waiting on Ning Yingying in the back so they could leave together. Ming Fan still had some closing work to do before he could join them at the “usual” restaurant they went to.
Once Ning Yingying finished up they headed out. Luo Binghe started in the direction of the train station when Ning Yingying stopped him.
“A-Luo, we should take a taxi! It’ll be easier and faster too!”
“How far away is this place?”
“Closer by taxi, that's for sure.” She stood on her toes a bit and poked him on the side of his head, “And don’t worry, big sister here will pay for it.”
And just like that they were in a taxi that was headed for the edge of town where concrete made way for grass and skyscrapers for patches of mature ginkgo trees.
The restaurant they pulled up to was a modest two story pagoda surrounded by a small lake framed by bamboo.
“Stunning right?” Ning Yingying straightened her skirt as she got out of the car. “Mr Shen knows the owners here so we always get a nice discount and VIP treatment!”
“Is that right?” He looked down at his black sweatshirt and jeans, “I feel a little underdressed.”
“Oh no! It’s fine. This place is very casual. It just looks fancy because of the outside, but it’s just a little family style restaurant. That’s why Mr Shen likes it here. The food is very homey.”
Luo Binghe wasn’t going to worry about it then. What could he do about his clothes anyway? He arranged his hair out of his face and dusted off his sweatshirt as they made their way over to the entrance.
“Hello Yingying! It’s good to see you again!” An elderly woman called out as they came in. Ning Yingying quickly returned the old woman’s greetings and gave her a firm hug. The woman looked over Ning Yingying’s shoulder curiously, one of her eyes washed over with blindness. “And who is this youngman? You finally bring a boyfriend in to meet us?”
Ning Yingying giggled before playfully hitting the elderly woman on the shoulder, “This is Luo Binghe, one of my coworkers at Qing Jing. A-Luo, this is Mrs Feng Meihui. She’s one of the owners of this restaurant!”
“It is nice to meet you Mrs Feng,” Luo Binghe bowed respectfully.
“Manners and good looks? My, my Yingying, how can you be surrounded with such eligible men and still be single? My goodness he’s even tall. My Chao is as ugly as can be and yet here you stand single amongst such handsome men and let them go to waste.”
“Don’t say that Mrs Feng! Mr Chao is plenty handsome.”
She laughed as if Ning Yingying had told a joke. “Flattering the old gets you nowhere kiddo. Now go and join your table. Qingqiu is already here with Xiaoxiao.”
Ning Yingying pulled Luo Binghe along with her and they ended up going through a side door and walking around the patio until they reached a private area that was lit up warmly in the dusk.
Gongyi Xiao was pouring some mijiu into Mr Shen’s cup where they sat at an ornately carved wooden table with iron chairs covered in cushions.
“We’re here!” Ning Yingying announced spritely.
They were beckoned over wildly by Gongyi Xiao, “Come on guys! We started drinking without you. Is Ming Fan not coming?”
“He had some paperwork to finish before he left.”
“Bummer. He can be such a buzzkill sometimes, huh, Luo-meimei?”
Shen Qingqiu made a noise that sounded like a snort before he brought his fan up to his face, masking his expression.
“I hate when you call me that.”
“Aw why? You are like my sweet little sister.” He reached over Mr Shen and pulled Luo Binghe by his sleeve to guide him to the chair next to him. “You make the cutest latte art I've ever seen and dainty pastries that puts anything my girlfriend makes to shame. My sweet Luo-meimei!”
Luo Binghe shoved Gonyi Xiao away from him, “You’re drunk already aren’t you?” He sat down reluctantly next to Shen Qingqiu with Ning Yingying next to him.
“I’m not that drunk.”
“You’ve been here longer than all of us. You’ve been trying to force me to catch up for the last thirty minutes,” Mr Shen commented from his place at the head of the table. “Don’t think I didn’t notice Chao clearing your drinks as I came in. You’re paying for those if you so much as look like you are going to throw up.” His lip curled up in disgust.
Ning Yingying laughed into her hand, “Oh my god, Mr Shen will never let you live down that time you threw up on him.”
Gongyi Xiao was turning red with embarrassment, “Geez, give me a break, I was younger then, I didn’t know my limits yet.”
“Make excuses and you can pay for all of us.” Mr Shen snapped his fan closed before placing it on the table. He then reached across the table to fill up Ning Yingying’s cup and then surprisingly Luo Binghe’s.
Luo Binghe watched Shen Qingqiu’s motions with razor focus, the man’s movements were poise, his pale hands looked boney yet smooth with well-manicured nails. He was wearing the same soft white cotton button up and soft green linen trousers as earlier. The air was warm on the patio with the addition of heat lamps so his sweater sat folded on one of the benches along with Gongyi Xiao’s bookbag and coat. The man looked as annoyingly good as he had this afternoon and Luo Binghe had to swallow as he felt drool beginning to fill his mouth with a primal hunger. He knew it wasn’t the time or place so he tried to focus on something else and looked at Ning Yingying.
She still had her jacket on, her purse hanging haphazardly on the back of her chair. She was laughing at whatever it was that Gongyi Xiao was saying and sipping from her small cup. Luo Binghe smiled softly at her, as much as she could be a bit of a ditz, he knew that she only had good intentions. He lifted his cup and clinked it with hers and returned the bright smile she gave him. Even if he hadn’t planned it, and Mr Shen acted like a prick earlier, he would try to enjoy himself anyway.
—
Ming Fan ended up not making it to Gongyi Xiao and Luo Binghe’s satisfaction. So the four of them drank ‘til their hearts were content and talked shit and somehow Shen Qingqiu refrained from cursing at Luo Binghe the entire time. Though he had to guess that had more to do with how annoying of a drunk it turned out that Gongyi Xiao was.
But after they had all started to catch up with him there was less tension coming from Mr Shen and he entered a much more relaxed state, he’d even openly laughed when Gongyi Xiao had to run off to the bathroom after Luo Binghe and he had a contest to see who could hold the most pickled plum in their mouth. It could only be assumed Gonyi Xiao was vomiting his guts out.
Luo Binghe leaned into Shen Qingqiu and whispered cheekily into his ear, “You gonna make him pay for the meal?”
The older man turned even redder than he already was from the alcohol before pushing Luo Binghe away from him somewhat weakly, “You beast .”
“A-Luo you made Mr Shen angy.” Ning Yingying teased from her place crouched on the floor, laying her head drunkenly on Shen Qinqiu’s lap.
“You all look ridiculous.” Mrs Feng commented as she came to clear the table. “I called that Ming Fan fellow to come and collect you. I don’t trust you all to get back on your own, he should be here soon. Make sure you collect Xiaoxiao from where he’s made a place for himself on the bathroom floor.”
Luo Binghe guffawed at the image in his head, “Is it like this every time?”
When Ning Yingying didn’t respond he looked to Mr Shen, where he was petting her head affectionately as he looked out at the inky darkness of the lake. He painted a striking image, his paleness glowing against the dark. His gaze was hazy as he turned his head back to see Luo Binghe watching him. “What are you staring at?”
Luo Binghe put caution to the wind, “You.”
Mr Shen’s eyes widened a bit. His mouth moved as if he was trying to find words before it clamped shut again and he glared at the younger man. He looked far less intimidating than usual with how flushed he was, his pouting looking cute instead of bitchy.
“When you aren’t acting insufferable you’re beautiful.”
Shen Qingqiu still hadn’t said anything. Luo Binghe watched as he swallowed and his Adam's apple bobbed violently. Mr Shen’s nerves were palpable which only fed Luo Binghe’s confidence, “You pissed me off earlier, throwing money at me — treating me like some whore.” He invaded Shen Qingqiu’s space and wrapped an arm around the smaller man’s middle, lightly jostling the dozing Ning Yingying in his lap, “Do you feel like you got your money’s worth, Qingqiu?” Emboldened, Luo Binghe ran his tongue over the edge of Shen Qingqiu’s ear when he heard the man’s breath hitch.
“You like that?”
“You- you-”
“Mr Shen, I'm here!” Ming Fan came in sounding a bit winded.
Luo Binghe dropped his arm from around Shen Qingqiu before pushing out of his chair and smoothly moving to lift Ning Yingying. It didn’t seem like Ming Fan noticed the interaction.
“Hey, you prick! Put Ning Yingying down!”
Rolling his eyes, Luo Binghe picked up Ning Yingying’s purse and then thrust her into Ming Fan’s arms making him blush aggressively. She remained blissfully passed out.
“Did you already get Gongyi Xiao?”
“Huh? Of course I did.”
“You can take both of them home, right? There isn’t enough room for all of us so I’ll take care of Mr Shen.”
“No way! I have to make sure Mr Shen makes it home as well. You can take a cab.”
“It’s fine Ming Fan.” Shen Qingqiu interjected from where he was putting his sweater on, “Make sure those two make it home safely.”
Ming Fan looked confused and unsure as he looked between the two before he responded, “Yes, of course, Mr Shen.”
Luo Binghe grabbed Gongyi Xiao’s bag and coat before following behind Shen Qingqiu who was already making his way out after a retreating Ming Fan.
He caught up and clutched Mr Shen’s arm before yanking him towards him, “My place or yours?”
Shen Qingqiu whipped his head around offended, “What makes you think I want anything from you? I’ve already scheduled a taxi for myself, I’m taking it home. Alone.”
“So, your place then.” He dropped Shen Qingqiu’s arm before moving around him to catch up with Ming Fan.
“Beast.” He spoke firmly, Luo Binghe turned to face him, “You will forget what happened in there, do you hear me?”
Luo Binghe smirked, his eyes burning with lust, before he rounded the corner and disappeared from Shen Qingqiu’s view.
—
Shen Qingqiu sat uncomfortably next to his unwanted company. The beast forced his way into the cab and had been sitting quietly for the moment. He should have taken Ming Fan up on his offer, but he didn’t feel like dealing with any of them. He wanted some quiet and to be as far from Luo Binghe as possible.
The man had gotten neither quiet or privacy with the annoying pop music that was coming from the taxi’s speakers and Luo Binghe’s incessant staring.
He felt so foolish for letting the beast touch him that way in front of Ning Yingying, and Ming Fan would have caught them had he not been a panting mess when he’d arrived. Shen Qingqiu’s body tightened taut like a thread when he felt Luo Binghe’s hand make its way onto his upper thigh rubbing gently but firmly enough that Shen Qingqiu could still feel it beneath the fabric of his pants.
“What do you think you are doing?” Shen Qingqiu hissed loudly as he tightly closed his legs, protecting his center.
Luo Binghe unbuckled his seatbelt and shifted closer, “Shhh, you don’t want the driver to notice, do you?” He said innocently.
He leaned in and ran his lips across Shen Qingqiu's jaw before breathing him in.
“You want me too, don’t you? That would explain why you always act like such an insufferable little bitch.” Luo Binghe was practically purring. “But that’s fine — as much as it pisses me off it gets me going.” He grabbed Shen Qingqiu by the wrist and placed his hand right on Luo Binghe’s hardened length.
Shen Qingqiu tried to shoot back as if the man’s sizable bulge had burned him but Luo Binghe laced his fingers through his, keeping his hand securely over his crotch as he started to grind up into the palm of his boss’ hand.
The smaller man’s pulse quickened where Luo Binghe held his wrist. He couldn’t make out Shen Qingqiu’s face outside of when it was silhouetted by the occasional streetlight, his eyes focused on the place where their hands touched.
Blaming the alcohol would be easy, but Shen Qingqiu knew that it was more than that. The beast had been partially right that attraction bred a part of his ire toward him. When he’d hired the boy Shen Qingqiu hated how talented he’d been, how likable, how easily accepted by their customers he was, and how much the beast was his type . It was like he was looking at all of the aspects of himself he’d wanted to improve upon in one person. It was aggravating.
But now, with the beast’s hand so close to his most private spot, he couldn’t help but wonder how good it would feel to just get out those frustrations. Shen Qingqiu wasn’t one to jump recklessly into sleeping with the people who worked for him, but the way Luo Binghe touched him felt different than how any man had before. There was the usual hunger, yes, but this odd tenderness was interlaced with it in a way that Shen Qingqiu had never sensed from a man before.
The abuse that he’d been dealt throughout much of his childhood could attest to his bias when it came to sex. It wasn’t something he did often and when he did it usually took drinking to the point of almost forgetting what happened to him in the Qiu household, forgetting himself.
Kind of like that very night.
The beast had his chin propped on Shen Qingqiu’s shoulder as he panted into the older man’s neck, thoroughly enjoying the stimulation to his groin.
“Fuck, Qingqiu, it feels so good,” Shen Qingqiu felt the wetness of the beasts tongue roll over his neck, “It’s going to feel so good inside of you.”
Shen Qingqiu bit back a moan as Luo Binghe brought his hand even higher on his thigh trying to make his way between legs that were starting to relax open of their own volition.
“Wait, not here.”
“Why not?”
Luo Binghe removed his hand from its place on top of Shen Qingqiu’s and let out a barely audible whimper when Shen Qingqiu tightened his grasp on his cock all on his own. It was so big that Shen Qingqiu couldn’t help but marvel at the size of it and started to unwittingly stroke it through the inconvenient fabric of the beast’s jeans making him groan into Shen Qingqiu’s neck.
Shen Qingqiu watched as Luo Binghe stopped everything to enjoy the stimulation for a moment before eagerly settling on the first clasp of Shen Qingqiu’s pants.
He waited for what felt like ten seconds or maybe even ten minutes before he brought his other hand up from the older man’s upper thigh and started to unbutton them, realizing that Shen Qingqiu was going to let it happen. The action quiet save for the sound of Luo Binghe’s knuckles running over the linen. Shen Qingqiu had never been more thankful for his aversion to zippers than in that moment, otherwise he doubted the beast would have cared if the taxi got an earful of him unzipping the older man’s pants.
Shen Qingqiu could feel himself getting flustered as he thought about what Luo Binghe was trying to do, “I said wait, damn you!” His voice was hushed despite the nervousness overlaying the arousal in his abdomen.
To his surprise the damn kid stopped just as his hands were creeping their way into the front of his pants and removed himself from Shen Qingqiu’s person.
He could barely make out the pout that Luo Binghe was sporting in the darkness as he looked at him.
“Do you not want this?”
“I- I don’t know, but I know I don’t want to do something like that here. ”
“What’s wrong with ‘here’?” He was smirking down at Shen Qingqiu, “It’ll be fun.”
Shen Qingqiu glanced up front to the taxi driver who hadn’t made a peep the entire ride, focused solely on the road, then he looked out his window and noticed that they had just made it into the city. They were still a ways from his apartment…. The temptation was there, he could feel how wet he was, his pussy lips were aching and swollen from the teasing that Luo Binghe started back at the restaurant and continued in the car. He felt like a mess, the beast hadn’t really even done anything to him yet but he felt like he would burst if he didn’t get some relief. It would be so easy to just open his legs and let the boy do what he wanted to him.
“Fuck.” Shen Qingqiu was desperate, it had been so long since anyone had touched him, hell since he had even touched himself.
Luo Binghe leaned back in and brought his hand up to Shen Qingqiu’s chest, sliding his hand into the slightly opened front of his shirt. He held his hand over Shen Qingqiu’s rapidly beating heart. “Are you nervous, Qingqiu?”
A whimper involuntarily forced its way out of Shen Qingqiu’s throat before his eyes shot to he front hoping the driver hadn’t heard over the music. He allowed himself to relax a bit when he realized the driver’s eyes were still intently focused ahead on the road. He tried to swallow around the dryness in his mouth as he allowed his legs to relax open wider.
Luo Binghe took that as an invitation to run his fingers over Shen Qingqiu’s slowly hardening nipple making the older man gasp out while Luo Binghe leaned in to suck on his regal pale neck.
Shen Qingqiu allowed himself to completely open himself to Luo Binghe’s advances, the consequences be damned. He didn’t care about what tomorrow was going to look like, he was going to give into his impulses just this once .
Just as Luo Binghe was making his way into Shen Qingqiu’s pants the cab driver spoke, “Do you two go to that restaurant often?”
What a time for the cab driver to feel compelled to pointless pleasantries.
Shen Qingqiu doesn’t know if he would have been able to speak even if he wanted to as Luo Binghe reached the waist of his panties.
They both froze.
The air around the brat had shifted from an air of confidence to confusion.
Before the cab driver could get suspicious, Luo Binghe cleared his throat and spoke. “It was my first time there! My boss here took me and some of my coworkers to an outing. I’m sorry but if you want a more indepth review you’d have to ask Mr. Shen here but he’s piss drunk.”
In response the man started asking questions about the food and atmosphere, completely oblivious to Luo Binghe’s hands skimming across the edge of Shen Qingqiu’s modest satin cheeky panties.
While the man started rambling on about something or other, Shen Qingqiu wasn’t sure, Luo Binghe whispered into his ear, “I wasn’t expecting this. I didn’t know you had it in you, boss. ”
Shen Qingqiu grabbed Luo Binghe’s wrist and thrust his hand deeper into his panties and purred out impatiently, as he was completely over the teasing, “Just get on with it.”
“You- your- huh?” Confused, Luo Binghe dug his fingers in between Shen Qingqiu’s silken folds, “Fuck you have a pussy .”
Shen Qingqiu bit his lip stopping the moan that wished to escape him, just the feeling of another touching him after so long was delicious. Luo Binghe brought his slick index finger up to Shen Qingqiu’s clit and started rubbing over it, making the already sensitive man’s hips shoot off of the seat before he quickly forced them back down, not wanting to make any sudden movements that would tip off the cabbie.
Before Shen Qingqiu could adjust Luo Binghe was already vigorously moving his fingers over Shen Qingqiu’s bud.
He tried to keep his voice down but Luo Binghe wouldn’t let up, causing him to bring attention to himself. “Ah- ugh- you beast, it's too MUCH!” The stimulation was more painful than pleasurable at that point.
“I’m sorry sir,” the cab driver slightly turned down the music, “What was that? Are you alright?”
Shen Qingqiu bent his head forward to obscure his face and bit down on the side of his palm, praying that the driver didn’t notice what was happening. He was getting overstimulated because the beast was practically grinding his fingers into his clit and wouldn’t slow down.
“Sorry about that, I told him that he shouldn’t have drank that much and he got upset,” he kept his voice pleasant as he finally lowered his hand and aggressively thrust two fingers inside Shen Qingqiu’s wetness. “He’s a bit of a mean and sloppy drunk.”
“We all know at least one!” The man laughed goodnaturedly.
At this point, Shen Qingqiu used his free hand to pull Luo Binghe out of his pants before he, himself, caused a scene. He was trying to clench his legs closed in hopes that it would slow the brat down but Luo Binghe was relentless . Biting deeper into his palm was all that Shen Qingqiu could do as his body was abruptly invaded by a third finger.
Shen Qingqiu whimpered as Luo Binghe continued a light conversation with the driver before he inquired, “How close are we to our destination if you don’t mind me asking?”
“Just another two minutes or so and you can get your boss to bed! Will you be needing a ride after? I don’t mind waiting.”
“That’s kind of you but no, I’ll be spending the night. My boss is so kind and considerate of his employees in that way.”
Shen Qingqiu was too busy drooling practically down his wrist to catch the sarcasm, and bitterness, dripping from the statement. He was squirming in discomfort as Luo Binghe thrusted in his fingers just a bit more aggressively than before.
—
They’d made it into Shen Qingqiu’s apartment easily enough and without the cabbie expecting a thing despite Shen Qingqiu’s sloppy appearance. Shen Qingqiu did attempt to push Luo Binghe out of the elevator a few times but the man was of weaker stature and drunk, he had a better chance of moving a wall than the determined and horny Luo Binghe.
As soon as they made it in Luo Binghe scooped the protesting older man up and in long strides made his way to the couch. He didn’t have the patience to look for Shen Qingqiu’s room amongst the many doors and opted to start their night there. He gently sat him on the couch then crouched down in front of him and immediately unclasped the two measly clasps Shen Qingqiu stubbornly did up on his own in the taxi, refusing Luo Binghe’s assistance. Without preamble he yanked Shen Qingqiu’s pants down and tossed them to the side.
He needed to look at Shen Qingqiu.
The last thing he had expected was for the man to have a pussy . Luo Binghe almost couldn’t wrap his mind around it and knew he had to see it to truly take in the experience. The wet heat he felt around his fingers wasn’t enough.
He needed to feel the sensation directly on his cock. Fuck. Luo Binghe clumsily unbuttoned his jeans before jerking them down along with his dampened boxer briefs to free his erection. He sighed in relief at the sensation of the cool air in Shen Qingqiu’s apartment against his previously suffocated cock.
Desperately, Luo Binghe dragged Shen Qingqiu to the edge of the couch by his thighs and quickly situated one on each shoulder. Luo Binghe leaned forward and got a whiff of his pussy, the headiness dizzying and arousing. He felt saliva building up in his mouth before he jammed his mouth into Shen Qingqiu’s core. He moaned out at the taste of him, the sound vibrated into the older man’s core, making him jerk back a bit at the sensation. Luo Binghe grabbed him by his hips, holding him in place so that he could feast on Shen Qingqiu’s folds.
Shen Qingqiu hissed when Luo Binghe started attacking his clit, flicking his tongue back and forth over his already oversensitive nub. His hips jumped when Luo Binghe started sucking on it, not letting up before shoving in two of his long fingers inside of his wet core.
“Fuck, you beast - ah!” He fisted Luo Binghe’s hair as he started grinding down on his face, relishing in the sensation.
Luo Binghe let up but continued thrusting into his boss, “Fuck, you taste so good. I could die in your pussy, Qingqiu.”
“St- stop calling me THAT! Ah, fuck, wait-“
A predatory grin made its way across Luo Binghe’s face. He picked up the pace of his thrusting while simultaneously adding a third finger.
“Come, Qingqiu!”
“It’s too much! Wait- wait- '' Shen Qingqiu’s back bowed, making his ass shoot up off the couch. His crotch thrusting into Luo Binghe’s face, cunt spasming greedily directly in front of Luo Binghe’s mouth as he came violently. He brought his hand under Shen Qingqiu, squeezing one of his modest ass cheeks before leaning in and licking from taint to clit, wet smacking sounds filling the otherwise quiet space. He continued to hold Shen Qingqiu up to enjoy thrusting away inside of him wanting to taste more of his release on his tongue.
Watching Shen Qingqiu made his engorged cock jump, longing for stimulation. But Luo Binghe chose to ignore it, he wanted the first time he came that night to be inside of Shen Qingqiu.
He looked up to watch Shen Qingqiu’s pleading as he tried pushing Luo Binghe’s away in a similar way he tried to stop his assault in the cab. “Please, just STOP!” Shen Qingqiu bit his bottom lip in an attempt to stop the litany of moans that kept trying to force their way up his throat.
Luo Binghe let his words go unacknowledged as he replaced his fingers with his tongue and continued to watch Shen Qingqiu come undone. He licked deeply inside of him relishing the feel of Shen Qinqiu’s spasming pussy, he couldn’t help but imagine how it would feel around his own cock. Luo Binghe brought his fingers up to his clit and started to fervently rub over the already oversensitive clit.
He wanted to make the other man squirt .
Satisfaction was the only thing he felt as Shen Qingqiu’s thighs began to shake as another orgasm shot through him. He brought his tongue back up to Shen Qingqiu’s clit, sucking like a man possessed as he felt the first gush of squirt hit him in his chin and dripped down his neck. Luo Binghe clasped both hands around Shen Qingqiu’s hips, lifting his deadweight so he could guzzle down the sweet stream of squirt.
Shen Qingqiu panted above him with his eyes squeezed shut, brow furrowed with sweat gathering on his blushed neck and chest. His hands remained tangled in Luo Binghe’s hair but were no longer fighting to dislodge the younger man from his sex.
Luo Binghe could only feel smug as Shen Qingqiu sat there and could only take it .
—
To say that Shen Qingqiu was overwhelmed would be an understatement. It felt like the beast hadn’t given him a moment’s rest since he first started fondling him in the cab. He wasn’t sure if his body could take much more. He had never been so overstimulated before — to the point of pain. Shen Qingqiu felt like he was being punished by the brute.
He felt sick when he looked down and Luo Binghe was still smothering himself in his cunt. It was a mystery how the younger man seemed to not need to come up for air.
When Luo Binghe finally moved away from his center, Shen Qingqiu fought back a shiver. The sensation of his hot breath making his pussy quiver.
He’d removed his hands from Luo Binghe’s thick locks as he rested against the back of the couch, arms heavy at his sides.
“Get-“ Shen Qingqiu panted out before he stopped, needing to catch his breath more than he’d first thought. It embittered him. He had never felt so flustered before and the fact that it was Luo Binghe, of all people, who made him feel that way would’ve made him seethe if he wasn’t still drunk and pliant from orgasm. He looked the beast directly in his eye, “Leave.”
Luo Binghe himself looked dazed, still a little drunk himself, as his boss struggled through his words. “We aren’t done.” He rested his head on Shen Qingqiu’s thigh watching the man attempt to collect himself. “I haven’t even gotten to come, you don’t think that’s fair do you, Qingqiu? Then again, you aren’t a very fair boss.”
“You-”
Shen Qingqiu had to hold back an extremely undignified sound when Luo Binghe abruptly started to climb over him, dragging Shen Qingqiu’s ass almost entirely off of the couch. The older man’s long smooth legs still rested on his shoulders. He was being folded in half by the beast as they came face to face, the scent of Shen Qingqiu’s juices lingered between them as it remained smeared all over Luo Binghe, some even still dripping down his neck. Shen Qingqiu stared into his reddish brown eyes before Luo Binghe brought a hand to his chest and yanked on his button up, sending several of the buttons flying. Licking his lips at the sight, Luo Binghe nuzzled into his neck and kissed his way over it and Shen Qingqiu’s smooth chest that was seemingly covered in porcelain. Luo Binghe’s erection smacked against his pussy lips as he pressed himself closer to Shen Qingqiu making the older man jerk away in surprise.
A moan escaped Luo Binghe when they made contact. The slickness and heat felt like a balm on his dripping, untouched cock.
Shen Qingqiu craned his neck to look between the two of them before his mouth dropped in shock. Sure Shen Qingqiu had felt it through his jeans earlier but seeing it was different especially now that he’d sobered up more than he was before. The head was a flared bulbous monster but nothing compared to the sizable girth of his shaft — the center thicker than the rest as it tapered to a thick nest of hair.
Luo Binghe ground it over his clit, enthusiastically slicking himself up between Shen Qingqiu’s folds making the older man moan in equal parts pain and pleasure, his pussy stung from Luo Binghe’s relentlessness.
“I could come just from rubbing against you, fuck it feels so good.” Luo Binghe sounded as if he was in a trance. “But- but- oh god, it has to be inside .”
“Inside?” The thought alone was sobering. Shen Qingqiu struggled in Luo Binghe’s firm hold on him, “Are you insane? You can’t come inside of-”
Luo Binghe was already pushing his way into Shen Qingqiu’s cunt, making a space for himself in his tight heat.
“Sto- AH! You’re too big. Stop it!” He slammed his fist against Luo Binghe’s shoulder.
He went ignored. Luo Binghe continued as if he hadn’t heard Shen Qingqiu, his sole focus burying himself deep inside of the other man.
“You need to put on a condom, you beast !”
“Why?”
Why?
Shen Qingqiu growled out impatiently, “Why do you think?”
“It’s not like I’ve ever done this with anyone else Mr. Shen so I should be clean.” Luo Binghe spoke dazedly.
“Wait,” Shen Qingqiu couldn’t believe his ears, this beast of a man was…, “you’re a virgin?”
Luo Binghe buried his face deeper into Shen Qingqiu’s neck, “Is that- is that a problem?”
It was starting to make more sense to Shen Qingqiu now. That would explain why he was so over eager and didn’t understand the ebbs and flows of foreplay or when to slow the hell down. At first he thought it was because Luo Binghe was drunk too but no it’s because the older man was now stuck with a clingy virgin . Well… not so virgin anymore now, was he?
“Huh…” Shen Qingqiu brought his hand up to the bridge of his nose, a headache starting to come on. The mood was indeed broken. “I think that’s enough for tonight.”
Luo Binghe shot up from his place curled into Shen Qingqiu with a stressed brow and pouted lip plastered onto his face, “But- but I thought —”
“You thought nothing. This was entirely thoughtless. And even though it’s none of your business I also don’t fuck virgins.”
“But-”
Shen Qingqiu pushed at Luo Binghe’s chest and this time the younger man didn’t fight back. He allowed himself to be pushed off and his cock to slide out of Shen Qingqiu.
When Shen Qingqiu stood, Luo Binghe was slumped in a defeated heap on the floor.
Refraining from rolling his eyes at the display he sucked his teeth in annoyance, “Do you need me to call a taxi for you? I’m still drunk so I can’t drive you, but-”
“It’s fine,” Luo Binghe stumbled a bit as he stood and righted his clothing. “I get it, I’m leaving.”
There was a slight tremble to his voice, Is he seriously going to cry ?
But what did that have to do with him?
“Good, then be on your way.” He gestured nonchalantly at the door.
Luo Binghe looked like he wanted to say something, his eyes coated with unshed tears and his face still flushed from inebriation. He gave Shen Qingqiu a once over, reminding the older man that his pants and underwear were still tossed somewhere across the living room, before his eyes shot back to the door.
“Have a good night,” was all he said before he left the apartment with what Shen Qingqiu could only describe as his tail between his legs.
—
Luo Binghe felt like an idiot .
He shouldn’t have let his feelings overwhelm him like that, he shouldn’t have pounced on Mr. Shen at the first opportunity that he got but he couldn’t help it .
He’d been more than eager to please his boss in his drunken state but now he was humiliated.
Not only that, he had to go and visit his mom with that on his mind. Luo Binghe was absolutely reeling knowing that after he met up with his mom he would have to go back to the cafe and face his coworkers — face Mr. Shen. The very same Mr. Shen who let him finger him and eat him out and fuck be inside of him. Luo Binghe definitely didn’t feel like a virgin anymore but he felt he got a hint of what it was like to lose your v-card. Just sitting inside of someone hardly counted as having sex… right?
Whatever, he would just leave it to later him to think about. Currently his head was killing him from the hangover he was sporting. Not the best state to be in to go and visit his mom but that would just have to be that.
He made sure to pick up some flowers for his mom from one of the local florists to give her along with the soup that he’d made her. Hopefully she’d be up to eating.
When he finally made it into Dai Yu’s room she was fast asleep in her bed. So he decided to tidy up a bit and replace the older flowers with the new ones. Luo Binghe made quick work of going to the ensuite and filling up the empty vase with water before arranging the flowers in them.
Luo Binghe was placing them back on his mother’s side table when he noticed a gift bag sitting on it.
His mom didn’t often have visitors so it was more than a little odd.
Maybe one of the nurses brought it . He rummaged around in the bag before taking out a box.
A box filled with one of the most expensive teas a person could get. The only reason who knew what the hell it was, was because Gongyi Xiao talked about how he got to try it during a tea sommelier course he got to go to once with Ming Fan. Apparently it was hard for the average person to get their hands on.
“Who in the hell?” Luo Binghe spoke under his breath. Who could have possibly left this for his mom? Maybe an old client? But his mom never spoke of being close with any of them so he was at a loss.
He decided he’d just ask her about it when she woke up. Since he had time to kill he went to the front desk to go and see if he could pay some of the next hospital bill in advance.
To his surprise someone else apparently had the same idea.
“What do you mean someone paid the next month’s bill already?!”
“It’s just as I said sir, your mom had a guest and he went ahead and paid on the bill in advance.”
He was in shock. Someone came out of pocket and paid over 150,000 yuan! Luo Binghe couldn’t fathom it. He knew that he should just take it for the blessing that it was but nothing in life was free. Watching how his mom was treated and experiencing some ill-treatment firsthand left him guarded. Of course he’d opened up the older he got and tried to maintain a positive demeanor but this type of money never came free.
“Did they leave a name?”
“No, but I assumed you’d know the man since he visited your mother.”
“If it isn’t too much trouble, can I see the guest list for my mom’s check in, please?”
“Of course, give me one second to pull it up.”
Luo Binghe’s foot was tapping nervously as he waited.
The whirring sound of a printer went off before the nurse presented him with the check-in list.
“I hope this helps, Mr. Luo.”
“Thank you so much.” Luo Binghe plastered a polite smile onto his face despite his discomfort, “I’ll make sure to bring those little pastries in for you next time!” He gave his goodbyes and disappeared back down the hallway to his mother’s room where he could look over the list in private.
Thankfully his mom was still out cold, so he made himself comfortable in the seat next to her bed and scanned the list. There were two names that were drastically out of place.
Zhuzhi Lang and Tianlang Jun
They were oddly familiar but Luo Binghe couldn’t put a pin on why.
Like he’d heard the names in passing before.
Fuck, who the hell were these people?
There was one answer to his question and one only. Google. But before he could take his phone out of his pocket his mom was already stirring in her bed. She stretched a bit before she opened her eyes. Luo Binghe sat the list on the side table before filling up a cup of water for his mom from the pitcher the nurses left.
“Sweetheart.” Her voice was raspy from sleep, “It’s so good to see you. Oh my goodness I hope I didn’t keep you waiting. I didn’t mean to fall asleep!”
Luo Binghe helped his mom to sit up before slipping the glass into her hands. “Not at all, mom, I tidied up a bit.”
Dai Yu looked over the newly tidied space and noted the flowers, “Oh! Those are gorgeous! Thank you sweetie.”
“Of course! I know they’re your favorites.” He smiled warmly at his mom and leaned in to give her a kiss on the forehead. Luo Binghe stood and grabbed the lunch box he’d left sitting on the opposite side table, “Are you hungry? I brought some soup. Something light but flavorful!”
“I’d love to have some. I was getting tired of the hospital food anyway. Lucky me that you can bribe the nurses so easily, or I’d be stuck scarfing the same food down forever.”
“Not forever. Just until you get better mom.” He put out his hand for his mom to place the now almost empty glass in it so that he could place it back on the side table. Before he finished unpacking the soup he went to the end of her bed and pulled the rolling table that went over the width of her bed up to his mom.
Luo Binghe retrieved the thermos from the lunch box and opened it, letting the fragrant and herb filled smell permeate the space. He poured some of the soup into one of the small bowls he’d brought with him from home and handed it to his mom along with a spoon. The rest sat conveniently on the table in front of her in case Dai Yu wanted more.
“This smells wonderful sweetheart! Thank you. I would love it if you could make some tea as well?”
“No problem.” Luo Binghe eyed the suspicious gift bag of tea on the side table and then flicked his eyes back to his mother, “Just some green?”
“That would be nice. I would offer you something better but I’m saving it!”
“Something better?” Luo Binghe decided to play dumb for the moment.
“Yes,” she spooned some of the soup into her mouth before she continued, “I received a couple of kind guests a few days ago. Guests I actually wanted to talk to you about.”
“Is that why you wanted me to visit?”
“That and I wanted to see my boy,” Dai Yu smiled which made the endearing little lines next to her eyes crinkle.
Luo Binghe flushed in shame. “I’m so sorry that I’ve taken so long to visit.”
“There’s nothing to be sorry for, Binghe. I understand that you work very hard to take care of me, I just wish I could see you more often.”
Feeling the urge, Luo Binghe leaned forward and placed his head on his mother’s blanketed thigh. He missed her too, so, so much. If he had it his way he would see her everyday.
“I wish I could see you more often too.” He sunk into the state of peace as he felt his mom run her fingers through his thick, almost shoulder length hair and scratch over his scalp.
“Bring in scissors next time and I’ll give you a haircut, this is the longest it's ever been! Not very professional either.”
Luo Binghe let out a chuckle that was muffled by his mother’s leg, “I don’t think the nurses- hair- floor.”
“I can barely understand you! Lift your head up, silly.”
Luo Binghe lifted his head but kept his chin resting on his mother’s lap, “I said, I don’t think the nurses would like that very much.”
“They don’t like a lot of things.”
“Ha! That’s true.” Luo Binghe finally stood up and grabbed the mug he kept next to the hot water dispenser for his mom and tossed two green tea bags in. “Here you go.”
“Thank you. Now sit back down so we can talk.”
“I thought we’d already been talking,” Luo Binghe joked.
“True… but I want to go back to talk about those guests I had.”
“Why do I feel like I’m not going to like this?”
“Oh no, honey, it’s not bad news! Just… shocking news, maybe even good depending on how you see it.”
“Is it about the bill for this month already being paid?”
“The what?”
“The hospital bill was already paid off for this month when I went to the front to make a payment.”
“Huh. Well, they could be connected. I would have to ask.”
“Ask the men who came here?”
“Yes. They were so kind. And even brought that tea, as I said. It’s a very expensive tea! But I promised to have the first taste with him. He was nice enough to bring such a wonderful gift, I didn’t want to have a cup without him.”
“I see…. But that doesn’t explain who those men are? Who are they?”
Dai Yu held out her empty bowl to Luo Binghe and he took that as a cue to sit it on the side table. She cleared her throat before she spoke. Luo Binghe hadn’t seen her this uncomfortable, this nervous, since she told him she was sick. His stomach was turning in anticipation.
Loan sharks. Mafia. Evil relatives .
His mom sat a bit straighter before she spoke, “From what I’ve heard, you met these men before at Bai Zhan.”
Luo Binghe was confused at first and was going to tell his mom that he met a lot of men at Bai Zhan but that he remembered those two men from his last shift. The pale quiet man and the awkward older man.
“I — Maybe?”
“Can you hand me my purse?”
Luo Binghe was so confused but he did what his mom asked. He sat it next to her thigh before sitting back down. She rummaged through the bag for a bit before she took out her wallet and produced a business card.
She held it out to Luo Binghe.
He gently took it from her small, thinning hand and looked over the thick parchment of the card.
In metallic gold the name Tianlang Jun was sprawled across the card in an elegant script. He read the small details at the bottom, CEO of Huan Hua Publishing .
“This man and his son came in asking about you. The older gentleman, Tianlang Jun,” she pointed to the business card Luo Binghe still had clutched between his fingers, “said he hadn’t made the best first impression with you and asked me to tell you a few things on his behalf.”
Luo Binghe was outraged that the strange man had found his mom. He was more mad at himself for divulging his mother’s name in the first place! It must’ve shown on his face because his mom spoke up again, “They didn’t mean me or you any harm so there’s no need to be so upset, sweetie.” She reached out and grabbed his hand giving it a reassuring squeeze, “I have something to tell you before I can tell you what Tianlang Jun wanted, okay? Can you promise to listen until the end?”
Despite himself, Luo Binghe nodded and gently squeezed his mother’s hand back.
—
“So you… didn’t give birth to me?”
“No, I didn’t.”
“And this Su Xiyan person died giving birth to me?”
“Yes.”
“How do we know he’s not lying?”
Dai Yu retrieved her phone from where she’d had it tucked underneath her pillow and did something on it before turning the screen to her son.
A loss for words would be an understatement.
The woman in the image looked exactly like Luo Binghe, he could damn near be her twin aside from her chocolate colored eyes compared to the more reddish brown color of his own. There was no mistake, Luo Binghe was related to the pregnant woman smiling brightly at him from the image. He felt like he was going to be sick.
She was dead. His birth mother was dead.
His voice was caught in his throat, it felt like his tongue was too big for his mouth. The room suddenly felt too hot, he couldn’t breathe .
“Binghe! Calm down, breathe. It’s okay, sweetie. We’ll get through this.” Dai Yu was at his side in an instant, no longer sitting up against the back of the bed but practically falling over the side of it to hold Luo Binghe. She had her arms wrapped around him, his head to her chest trying to calm him down, “Just breathe with me sweetie. Please just calm yourself.”
Luo Binghe held on to the fabric of his mom’s pajamas, clutching on for dear life as he tried to bring himself back down.
When he finally felt his breathing even out a bit and the tightness in his chest lessened he spoke and fury overtook his sorrow, “Some jealous bastard threw me away! Like trash. A baby! And that man from before- that means that man- ”
“Yes, he’s your father.” Dai Yu said weakly. Luo Binghe removed his mother from her place wrapped around him and immediately reversed their positions. He held her in his arms to get a good look at her. She was shaking from exertion and sweating. Luo Binghe propped her up in his arms while he straightened her sheets and then gently placed her back in the center of her bed with her head sinking comfortably into her pillow.
He didn’t know what to say.
“That beautiful woman gave birth to you, and that kind man is your father, but, know, I will always be your mother — you will always be my sweet Binghe.” Smiling softly, Dai Yu put her hand out, Luo Binghe promptly placed his hand in hers. “You are strong because I raised you to be. We will get through this. You can contact Tianlang Jun or you can throw that business card away and forget this ever happened. It’s up to you sweetheart. Whatever you choose, I will support you.”
They sat there in silence until Luo Binghe had to leave for the coffee shop, not letting go of each other’s hand once.
—
Against everything his instincts were telling him, Shen Qingqiu walked into the back office at about midday. Ming Fan called in sick so they needed someone to manage the front, and Gongyi Xiao had classes, so Shen Qingqiu was left to pick up the slack. Shen Qingqiu didn’t feel up to working, especially since he'd had a persistent headache from just after Luo Binghe left his condo to that very moment. It had been making him snappy all morning, but he had to persevere. By the time eleven thirty hit Shen Qingqiu was sitting down for his first break since he’d come in at seven that morning.
Luckily, and to his dismay, Luo Binghe would be arriving shortly before the lunch rush really kicked off. Shen Qingqiu could still feel a tingle in his pussy when he thought of what they’d done the night before. It left him horny and restless. What the brat had lacked in technique he’d had in enthusiasm — Shen Qingqiu hadn’t been overstimulated like that in some time. Hell, he couldn’t even recall the last time he’d squirted.
He would never admit that to that beast though. If anything Shen Qingqiu resigned himself to never experiencing the kid’s touch again. He’d made a mistake by letting his little virgin barista lay hands on him.
Shen Qingqiu took a deep breath as he leaned back in his office chair. He’d really screwed up yesterday but the regret he expected to remain at the forefront of his mind never truly manifested. Fucking Luo Binghe had been something he wanted to do since Shen Qingqiu laid eyes on him. So, no, that regret would probably never fully be there.
Oh well, best to move on and hope Luo Binghe isn’t, god forbid, attached.
Shen Qingqiu dug his palms into his eyes until he saw little shapes dancing behind his lids. He had to get back to work soon but he didn’t feel even slightly rested.
The sound of the back door closing heavily made Shen Qingqiu jump. He turned in his chair to see a very downtrodden looking Luo Binghe.
God it was barely a lay! The kid couldn’t seriously be upset that Shen Qingqiu had sent him home last night. He’d made the right decision damn it all.
But to his surprise, Luo Binghe didn’t say a word to him. He simply placed his bag down, grabbed his apron and went to join Ning Yingying up front.
Now that hadn’t been what Shen Qingqiu had been expecting. If anything that pissed him off more than if the beast had come in begging for his attention.
The little bastard.
Shen Qingqiu wouldn’t be moved by the display. He would ignore the boy for the rest of the work day. No skin off his back.
—
They didn’t exchange more than a couple of words for the rest of the shift. Shen Qingqiu watched as Luo Binghe’s usual enthusiasm and charm was gone. Even Ning Yingying was worried and tried to get Luo Binghe to open up multiple times.
Now that they were closed, Shen Qingqiu was closing up the register while Luo Binghe mopped the front and Ning Yingying cleaned out and restocked the pastry case. Ning Yingying kept easing her way closer and closer to the register, obviously wanting to speak.
“What is it, Ning Yingying?” He questioned, not looking up from his task.
Ning Yingying whispered, “I- I was wondering if you knew what was wrong with A-Luo? Ming Fan told me you both shared a cab last night so…”
“So you were wondering if his current mood was my fault?”
“No! Not really, just if anything happened.’
“No, Ning Yingying, nothing happened. He took me home, got me upstairs and left.”
“Mhm,” Ning Yingying nodded, “that’s what A-Luo said too but what else could have him so down? He won’t talk about it, but I know there’s something wrong. He’s not being himself. Could you talk to him about it for me? You guys seemed to get along so well last nig —”
Luo Binghe walked over with the mop and rolling pail trailing behind him. “I’m done mopping. I just have to take out the last of the garbage then I’m going to head home for the night.”
“I’ll take the trash out! Just take care sanitising the mop and pail!” She gave Shen Qingqiu a quick side hug and waved goodbye before she hefted the two oversized garbage bags behind her, “Good work today guys!”
With that it was just the two of them. Luo Binghe still refused to look at him, which was annoying. Shen Qingqiu thought about not talking to him at all, but he knew how upset Ning Yingying would be, so he started, “Finish cleaning that up and wait for me in the office. We need to talk.”
Luo Binghe slumped a bit but nodded before disappearing into the back.
Fuck, what did Shen Qingqiu get himself into.
—
Luo Binghe was leaning against the wall they hung their aprons on when Shen Qingqiu finally joined him.
He tossed his own apron into the hamper and sat down at his desk. “Is last night the reason you’re acting like this?”
Shen Qingqiu rapped the fingers of his right hand on the desk as he watched Luo Binghe squirm.
“So it is —”
“It’s not! And it’s not your business either.”
“Is that so? I take it that it is my business when an employee is bringing down team morale and creating an unpleasant environment for customers to be in!”
“Well I’m sorry if I can’t bring myself to care today, Mr. Shen.”
Shen Qingqiu shot up and crossed the small distance between them to grab the taller man by his shirt. “You —”
Luo Binghe leaned down and crushed his lips against Shen Qingqiu’s.
He bit at Shen Qingqiu’s bottom lip, making him gasp out and giving Luo Binghe the opportunity to shove his tongue inside.
They both started grinding up against each other, unable to give a shit about time and place as they shared one of the sloppiest kisses Shen Qingqiu had ever had. It was obvious Luo Binghe was more heated than dejected at that moment as he pulled at Shen Qingqiu’s nape and moved his head how he wanted. Just taking, taking, taking from the older man.
It was desperate just like last night but also… different. Shen Qingqiu could feel as Luo Binghe crushed his hardness against Shen Qingqiu’s crotch, grinding into him as he started to kiss down his neck.
Luo Binghe was walking them backwards when the back of Shen Qingqiu’s knees hit the edge of his desk. He felt his pants being unbuckled and pulled down before, in one quick motion, Shen Qingqiu was manhandled around and bent over the desk. The older man was left feeling dizzy and overwhelmingly soaked.
“Wha- AH!” The firmness of Luo Binghe’s tongue met the satin of his underwear before he pulled them to the side to start absolutely devouring Shen Qingqiu’s pussy.
“Oh, fuck.” He held himself up on his desk, knees shaking, as he felt Luo Binghe run a finger through his slickness and push it into him. He thrust into him a few times before quickly adding another and then another, never letting up on sucking on his engorged clit.
Shen Qingqiu had orgasmed twice and was soaked down his thighs by the time Luo Binghe entered him from behind.
His hips dug into the edge of the desk as Luo Binghe fucked him hard and dirty. He gathered some of Shen Qingqiu’s hair into his fist and used it as leverage to fuck him deeper. Even though the fucking was uncoordinated and lacking finesse, this fucking virgin was making Shen Qingqiu cry out like he hadn’t in years as Luo Binghe’s balls slapped against his clit. He grabbed one of Shen Qingqiu’s thighs and splayed him wide so he could carve out more space inside of Shen Qingqiu for himself.
It felt sinful.
Luo Binghe was fucking him like the beast Shen Qingqiu always thought he was. It was rough and exactly what he’d needed.
When Luo Binghe’s pace finally got erratic and he was panting loudly into the air of the office Shen Qingqiu could barely keep his own legs up and was laying limply over the desk. He held Shen Qingqiu firmly by his hips and brought him back into his final thrust and he came deep inside of him.
Shen Qingqiu turned from where he was trying to catch his breath, drooling all over an invoice paper to look up and see Luo Binghe in a state of ecstasy. His eyes were squeezed shut as his naked chest moved up and down in heavy breaths. Shen Qingqiu wasn’t sure when Luo Binghe tossed his shirt away but he could appreciate the view. He was equal parts jealous and turned on as he eyed the younger man’s well shaped pecs and toned abs which were clenched up as he came. God and the way his veins were pumping underneath his arms were driving Shen Qingqiu crazy. He could feel how sore his pussy already was but, yet and still, he already wanted to go again.
After a few moments, both of their breathing had evened out and Luo Binghe was sliding out of him, making Shen Qingqiu shiver.
His pussy felt absolutely gaping from the size of that thing between Luo Binghe’s legs. Luo Binghe was tucking it back away into his pants, covered with their combined juices by the time Shen Qingqiu pushed himself off of the desk.
His legs felt like he was going to collapse at any moment and it must’ve been obvious because Luo Binghe guided him over to where his office chair had been slammed against the wall. “You feel better, I take it?” Shen Qingqiu asked as he was lowered carefully into the chair, surely staining it with the evidence of their fucking.
“I- yes. Thank you, or, er, I’m sorry. I really needed that. More than you’ll ever know.”
“Hm. Well, I guess that makes two of us.”
So much for not fucking virgins .
Luo Binghe smiled awkwardly, the first smile Shen Qingqiu had seen on him all day, “But really, my attitude today had nothing to do with last night. If anything I was afraid of how awkward it was going to be and how pissed you’d be. Then I got some pretty fucked up news this morning so…”
“I see.”
“Mhm, yeah so I’ll go grab something for you to clean up with!”
“No! It’s fine. I can handle it myself.” Shen Qingqiu couldn’t imagine defiling this place anymore than he already had. He couldn’t imagine using one of the rags they used to clean the shop on himself, even if they threw it away he’d feel disgusted. So, he would just wipe himself up with his panties and change into the spare ones he kept in his locker. The chair was definitely going into the dumpster too. “You head home for the night. I’ll close up.”
“Are- are you sure, Mr. Shen?”
Shen Qingqiu’s eyebrow quirked up at that, “After fucking me like that you’ll still call me Mr. Shen, hm?”
“... Should I not?”
Shen Qingqiu decided to mess with the kid and just watch him try to figure out if he was serious or not.
Luo Binghe seemed to take that as his cue to fumble around and gather himself. He threw his shirt and hoodie back on before he walked back over to where Shen Qingqiu was perched.
“I’m going now,” he shifted awkwardly from foot to foot. “So, um —”
Shen Qingqiu rolled his eyes at the helpless display. “ Please act like less of an awkward virgin and go .”
Luo Binghe snorted at that before leaning in and giving Shen Qingqiu a peck on the lips, “Not really a virgin anymore now am I?”
He left Shen Qingqiu sitting there regretting ever fucking him because, damn it all, he didn’t think he’d be able to stop now that he’d started.
—
“What did you call me here for?” Shen Qingqiu was sitting across from his father and barely brother Zhuzhi Lang in one of the restaurants they tended to meet at as a family. Not one of his favorites, but at least it wasn’t Bai Zhan, he absolutely hated the head chef there. His head was so far up his own ass he could probably see right out of his neck.
“There’s someone I wanted you to meet! I’ve been talking back and forth with him for a couple of months now and I thought it was finally time to introduce the two of you.” Tianlang Jun spoke cheerily.
“Have you met this person before?” Shen Qingqiu asked Zhuzhi Lang.
“Barely, vaguely.”
Shen Qingqiu rolled his eyes, Helpful as always.
“Are either of you going to tell me why I have to meet them?” His voice was haughty as he reached for his cocktail, ready to leave and get his brains fucked out by his little beast.
Tianlang Jun stood up, “There he is now! Now be on your best behavior.”
Shen Qingqiu continued to nurse his cocktail and remained seated but turned his body, looking over his chair, so that he could see who he was sacrificing his time to. The cocktail in Shen Qingqiu’s glass sloshed over the rim a bit as his hands started to shake.
No. No, why was —
“Shen Qingqiu, I’d like you to meet your long lost brother, Luo Binghe.” Tianlang Jun was so emotional that he didn’t notice the stare down going on between Shen Qingqiu and Luo Binghe. The utter shock was tangible.
Shen Qingqiu’s tried to stand, forgetting that his martini glass was still in his hand as he let the cocktail go, shattering against the finely polished wood of the floor beneath them.
“What the fuck?”
