Fast asleep, Mushitaro and Ranpo were simply in bed dreaming away as their other partner Poe was awake.
Poe stared at the nightstand beside him in the darkness of the room. He couldn't sleep, nor did he want to; The boy had terrible insomnia yet also influenced by always having ideas late at night.. Or at this time- the morning. Yet suddenly now he had a brilliant idea for a novel. The urge to write was immense but he did not want to wake up his two boyfriends who were asleep next to him.. What to do..
Eventually he decided after a few minutes that he could just slip out of bed and write the basis for the storyline; His attempt was not great.
He started slowly sitting up, blinking tiredly and holding back a yawn- He swung his legs over the edge of the bed and slowly got up, trying to be as quiet as possible. He could do this! The author walked over to his wooden desk against the wall in the room and sat down; Grabbing his notebook of ideas and a pen he quickly got to work jotting down every detail he could muster. Quick and easy.. Quick.. and easy..
"Ed?"
The bubbly yet tired voice of Ranpo spoke out, Poe froze and slowly turned and moved his fringe away from his eyes and to the side to see him better in the dastardly lighting.
"R-Ranpo-" Poe stuttered with embarrassment as he felt prickles crawl around his skin.
"Writing ideas are great and all but can't you wait till the morning?" Ranpo dragged as Mushitaro turned over with a mutter, opening his eyes and looking at Poe with a tired expression.
"I'm sorry but I had to get this idea down- It was only the idea not a full on story! Don't think im a maniac or something.." Poe sighed and clicked his pen, setting it down on the desk.
"Well I know that, Now come back to bed. It's 2 am after all," Ranpo yawned and Poe nodded, moving and walking over to the bed again and slipping in. Mushitaro wrapped his arms around Poe's arm as Ranpo hugged Mushitaro and rested his head onto the others back.
"Why did i have to date an author.." Mushitaro muttered out with slight annoyance yet still in a lighthearted-ish manner.
"Because you love himmm" Ranpo smiled and nudged him gently.
"Mmpfh.."
"Goodnight guys," The candy-loving detective said.
"Goodnight you two, sorry to wake.." Poe replied as Ranpo reassured.
"Stop talking and sleep, Night." Mushitaro yawned.
