Chapter Text
Boy has finally escaped. He is free of his aunt and uncle and cousin. He doesn’t know where to go now but he will figure it out. First, he needs a name, because Boy isn’t really a name. Raven. Perfect. Now, to survive the streets, to make something of himself. He will survive, he will not let his family win.

The smell of breakfast came wafting into the bedroom. The boy, previously sleeping, sniffed the air and sat up. This boy in question is very handsome, there is no denying it. He has tan skin, dark black hair, and gorgeous green eyes. His name is Raven, or at least that is what everyone calls him. His real name is Harry. Harry Potter, but nobody but him knows that. He goes by Raven Evans. Raven stretches and hops out of bed to investigate the smell.
“Good morning sleepy head,” his best friend, Bella, greets as he walks into the kitchen.
“Morning Bells,” he greets back. As Bella makes him a plate of eggs, he grabs a cup of coffee. They eat, making simple conversation about their plans for the day, and soon go their separate ways. Raven heads back to his room to get dressed for the day and Bella heads to work. Raven slips on his black jeans, white wife beater, leather jacket, and black converse. He glances at his calendar and cusses under his breathe. His 16th birthday is tomorrow, meaning his inheritance. When he first discovered Diagon Alley when he was six he went straight to the bank. There he discovered everything Albus Dumbledore had done to him. The fake scar, the blocks on his magic and inheritance, the stolen money, and the blocking of his parents’ wills. He, of course, got all of the blocks and scar removed, but since he didn’t want anyone to find out where he was he decided to just let him keep the money and continue taking it for now. He opened his parents’ wills and had a private reading with just him, then he got some money, converted half of it to muggle money, and went shopping for both magical and muggle things. Raven doesn’t know what his inheritance is going to be, but he does know that it is time to obliviate Bella. It’s going to be painful for him to loose his closest friend, but he can’t risk her getting hurt. He knows they are going to find him when he goes through his inheritance, the goblins told him that creature inheritances always get found out from the high magical power, so he has to do what he has to do to protect her. He heads off to work, dreading dinner.

That night, Raven got back to the apartment after Bella so she had already cooked dinner. They ate silently. Raven then got up and hugged Bella, “I am so sorry Bells, this must be done. I love you,” he whispered into her ear.
“What?” she responded very confused.
Raven then stupefied her and quickly packed his things and shrunk them. Then, he obliviated everything about himself from his mind, woke her up, and left. He went to the small motel room he rented before he went to the apartment and waited for midnight.
