Small slender fingers grabbed railings of the Kamisato estate. A figure of a pink kitsune could be see daydreaming about, who knows.
Her hair and dress swayed as the wind blew. She closed her eyes and waited, she didn't know why but she felt like waiting, for anything..
"Mama!" a few voices behind her called. The maiden turned around and saw three children, all with pale salmon pink and baby blue gradient hair, running to her.
The kitsune crouched down and welcomed them all with open arms. That lady is none other than the renowned shrine maiden Yae Miko and her three children, Sakura being the oldest daughter, Kaito the middle son, and Kokomi the youngest daughter.
"Ah! Hello my sunshines" Yae welcomed them.
"Mama, sissy's not letting me or Kaito play with her bow!" Kokomi whined. Sakura had been taking archery classes with Kujou Sara, she'd always dreamed about being like Sara.
"Oh dear, your sister's bow isn't something to play around with" Yae said, cupping Kokomi's cheek.
"Why not! Sissy uses it all the time!" Kokomi asked, putting a finger to her lip.
"That's when I'm practicing, I don't just play around with it" Sakura said, crossing her arms.
"Alright now kids settle down" Yae said.
"Wait, we can ask her now!" Kaito whispered to his sisters.
They both nodded and Kaito asked "Hey mama, can I ask you something?"
"Of course sweetheart, what's the matter?" Yae said, leading the kids to some chairs.
"well, we wanted to know how you and papa met" he asked.
A shocked expression came onto her face, but soon softened.
"Why the sudden question" she asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I dunno, but could you pleaseee tell us?" Kaito begged his mother. Soon after, the girls joined and begged Yae to tell them.
"Alright alright, I'll tell you guys. You three and the cutest!" she said before pinching their cheeks. Sakura and Kaito climbed onto her lap and Kokomi climbed onto her shoulders.
"Well, me and your father have known each other ever since we were kids, but let me start a bit later than that. Hmm..Aha! Around the end of high school.."
"Come on Ei! We're gonna be late for the third time this week!" Yae shouted.
"Ok coming hold on!" a lady with purple hair came out, dragging her twin.
"Let me go Makoto! I can walk myself!" one of the twins spoke.
"Oh stop whining Ei, we're late!" Makoto yelled.
"Ok jeez, no need to scream in my ear" Baal said, Yae rolled her eyes.
"It's the second to last week of school, we can't be slacking off like this!" Yae said, crossing her arms.
"Oh come on Miko, we all know that you want to go only to see your boyfriend Ayato" Baal scoffed. Makoto snickered at seeing Yae's face turn pink.
"N-No! It's our last year of high school a-and we need to make it a good year!" the young maiden stuttered.
"Yeah yeah whatever, let's go" Baal said, grabbing Yae and Makoto's hands.
