I do not own anything that has to do with Lord of the Rings. It belongs to J.R.R Tolkien, and all of it's rightful owners. I do own my character Balliniel. Also, the romance will not happen right away, because love does take time. Lastly, read the warnings before the chapters.

Work Text:

Author's notes: Warnings: Some mentions of rape, but not detailed. Little scenes of gore.

Again, I do not own Lord of the Rings in anyway

This chapter is still going through editing

The young women sat in the far corner of the disgusting cell, hidden well in the shadows. She was very frail, and weaker than she has ever been. Her brown scraggly hair was knotted, and her cold gray eyes were always scared, nervous, our hateful.

She curses the day she was forced in this cell. She was a young adult back then, in her late teens. Her parents has raised her just on the borders of Gondor. She never really had a childhood, unless you counted running, and constantly moving. Her family was poor, and was unable to pay to the Stewards of Gondor. Her parents were slain by a tribe of Orcs when they were banned from Gondor. Balliniel managed to escape that day, and she traveled. Although, she traveled into Mordor. She never had the education, she barely knows how to read and write, so she could not tell what places she ought not be.

She has been spending almost five years in here. She wonders why Sauron has kept her this long. 'Should his need for the ring not be stronger?' This thought runs through the young womens mind almost everyday. She needs to know why he has been keeping her, and why he has not either killed her our set her free. By how she was treated here, she honestly would not mind either option.

Loud arguing was heard outside of the cell, echoing throughout the area. She peered between the bars to see 4 sets of shadows all exaggerating the Orcs real height. They do tower over her, yet they are not as large as the whole length of the room. 'Great' she thought, 'The main guards are going to be angered, and then they will take out that anger on me as usual'

She jumped as the loud sound of the creaky steel door slammed shut as two silhouette figures came walking towards the women. The taller Orc on the right who carried a sword yelled at the women, "Stand up, you filthy piece of scum," while the other weaponless Orc remained silent

Oh, how the women wished to use the same words back to the Orc, but she knew she she must not anger the Orc any further. Instead, she shakily stood up wincing as the taller Orc came up and gripped onto the womens shoulder, "Do whatever we tell you," it chuckled almost sarcastically, "Fear, not, for this is love not pain."

The words the Orc spoke were untrue and the women glared at the Orc as this has happened before, "Why do you not just leave? No living thing would ever have the pleasure of loving a thing like you."

This angered the Orc greatly, "Silence your tongue, for I have a weapon, and you do not. I could cut your tongue straight off if you utter such again."

The women glared at the Orc, "I only say the truth."

As Balliniel saw fire gleam into the Orcs eyes the shorter Orc stopped the tallest, "No, Trangûrz. This wretched female only wants to get a rise out of you."

Thrangûrz snapped at the shorter Orc, "Well it us working! Come on, do not be foolish, she will have no choice to do whatever we want."

The shorter Orc shook his head, "Remember what Sauron said last time? We let two men escape because of this, and we will be executed next time."

Thrangúrz grumbled, "Fine, but you owe me."

"Very well," The nameless Orc said, "Now hurry!"

The women went back to her spot in the corner silently. She sighed as she rested her head against the wall, ignoring the plate of rotting bread beside her. She pulled her cloak over her now as it was very cold in the cell. She had to go to her second plan, but there was none. The women anxiously stood up, and leaned against the wall. She can not take then by force, nor could she outrun the numerous amounts of Orc's. But maybe she could, if she caused enough trouble she may be able to speak with Sauron.

It was settled, she was going to wait until the guards opened that door once more. Then she would escape, but will it work? The women sat back in the shadows, silent, and waiting.

The women jumped at the sound of the door not so long after. She sat up peering at the Orc's. She was sneaky, and she knew this because she was so close to the borders of Mordor without anyone noticing her. Well, until she was caught, but she was not planning that, that would happen today.

Thrangûrz scowled at young women, "I see the scum still lives, yet she has yet not eaten. Does this women remember the last time she wasted our food?"

The nameless Orc rolled his eyes at his 'Friend,' "Can we not just ignore the women, and not give her any food at all?"

Thrangûrz also rolled his eyes, "Are you going soft, Hâargz?"

Before the now named Orc spoke the women made a run for it. She was surprisingly fast for someone so malnourished and weak, yet she must only be able to run because of adrenalin. She dodged at the swipe of Thrangûrz sword, but received a cut on her cheek. She rushed down the hallway, getting strange looks from the other Orc's, and prisoners.

Apparently Thrangûrz was close behind, "Do not just stand there!" He exclaimed, "After her!"

The women just managed to dodge an Orc's feeble attempt to catch her. She had to cause a scene, and quick too. Is she did not, she will only be caught, and sent back to her cell. She looked around, and smacked the routes of weapons off the wall. It was not much, and it surely would not do. But because if the mess it slowed the Orc's down just a tinge. She had to harm, but she did not know how to fight very well. She did manage to sneak out once a few years back. She meet another prisoner who taught her the basics of a sword, but the man was executed, Balliniel was brought to her cell soon after.

She picked up a nearby sword, and kept running. Her luck ran out just as an Orc tacked her, bringing them both to the ground, but she must not stop now. She pulled out her sword, and swiped at the Orc's head. The sword ran through the Orc's neck, black blood rose out of the cut immediately as the Orc brought a hand to it's wound, shocked etched on it's face. The women pushed the Orc off of her, and began to run again. Although, her second run did not last long as a mace smashed into her face.

She cried out in pain, dropping her sword, and also falling to the cool, hard ground. The Orc growled at the women, "You just killed one of the superior Orc's. I wonder what Sauron would have to say about this?"

Thrangûrz stood right beside him, "I bet his decision would to be, executing the foolish women."

The Orc who had caught her grinned, "And would you do the honors?"

"Of course," Thrangûrz bared his teeth at her. 'Oh no,' the women thought, 'I went to far'
