In the Class 1-A Dorm Lounge, 6:39 am
Midnight and All Might are crowded by most of the 1-A students, each giving their own questions about the state of their teacher and his wife.
Ashido sat forward in her seat, “Is the baby okay?”
Then Yaoyorozu stood from her seat on the couch to step forward, “Is there anything we can do? We could all put together care packages, I already have a few ordered.”
Uraraka put her cup of tea down on the round table, “Has the baby been delivered yet? My mother works at the main hospital as a PCA, she could definitely help out with them after the birth!”
“Woah Woah Woah, the baby isn’t being born just yet. Mr. Aizawa came down with something and Mrs. Aizawa is helping him through it, no baby is here.”
At this, Ida waves his hand and stands up. “But Miss! We heard Present Mic say it!”
“When?”
The whole class looked to Izuku Mydoria, who shrank in his seat, lightly chuckling to alieve his stress. “ He was listening to his radio show out here in the lounge and we all heard it. Present Mic screamed that Aizawawas having a baby. But he already knew that- we all do. So it only makes sense that the baby is being born.”
Midnight and All Might look at each other and share a sigh, giving up the charade they were planning. “All right, yes, the newest addition to class 1-a is soon to come.”
From the class below, they assumed there was a mass quirk mishap going on above them. Most of the class cheered over the news that they had already known, while Yaoyorozu and Ida tried their best to calm them down, reminding them that Eri was still asleep and did not need to be woken up yet.
Shinso spoke up from his seat behind Mydoria. “Do you know of anything new? How close is the baby to being born? And what are we supposed to do in the meantime?”
All Might look to Midnight for confirmation before coming to speak, “As far as now, Mrs. Aizawa is safe and secure. And- you told me two hours, right? The doctor said two hours.” He whispered to Midnight. “Yes, and from then, that would mean the baby should be here,” She looked at the clock. Both her and Toshinori’s eyes widened and they looked at each other shocked at how they’d lost their sense in time before they left. Asui put her finger to her mouth in question, “What’s wrong Senseis?”
All Might cleared himself before Midnight. “It turns out, the kid should be born in a few minutes.”
Kirishima, Sero, and Kaminari stood up from their spots around the TV, letting out sounds of surprise and cheer, and giving each other pats on the back as if their favorite sports team had won. Yaoyorozu, Uruaka, Aoyama, Ashido, Hagakure, and Asui gathered together to talk about possible baby genders and gift ideas, with Jiro, Orijo, and Kota joining in occasionally, with Orijo telling everyone what Kota was saying with his sign language. While Most of the guys joined the others by the tv and talked shortly about how the possibility of the kid being rough around the edges like Aizawa was possible, but Shinso clued in by saying that the kid was most likely going to act in some way similar to all of them. “Think about it. The only reason Mrs. Aizawa wasn’t here for the past few months was that she was showing more. Before that, she would be here almost every other week- and if we were done with training, she’d even stay overnight! There’s no reason for her to change that after the baby is born.” The whole class had heard this and went into planning a baby room for if they did eventually come. As well as a ‘Welcome home’ party.
—------------ ~7:00am -------------
Your breathing was surprisingly calm- regarding the situation. Your eyes were set on your husband’s face while he rubbed your stomach to calm both himself and you. The pink-haired doctor from earlier, Dr. Williams, as you’ve come to know, prop your legs up with the leg rests at the bottom of the bed. “Now, Mrs. Aizawa, you are very close to being able to hold your precious baby… whatever it may be.”
You smiled at Shouta, he gave a subtle grin back. “You’re at nine, and insanely close to 10 centimeters. I’d actually say you were at 10 already.” She snapped her gloves on. Her finger trailed the stretched-out lips seeing the small head of the baby. “Oh, they’re making a grand entrance! Get ready Mama, you’re gonna have to start pushing.” You braced yourself, leaning back on your elbows. Shouta put your locks into a thick ponytail, “You look great, my love. You’re doing amazing.”
You sighed and closed your eyes. “It’s the epidural Sho, otherwise I’d be off the wall.”
He hummed, “I’m aware, but there’s still some effort, I can see that.”
Dr. Williams popped her head up from your area, “Would you like to take a look, Mr.Aizawa?”
Sho waved his hand, showing that he was fine.
Nurse Remi switched your old drip bag with a new one, “This will have to be your last bag ma’am.” You nodded.
You smiled tearing up, “Sho” You pulled him close. “Sho- our baby. They’ll be here soon! I’m so excited, I-” You let out a short sob. Shouta bent down his head to kiss you. You pressed back with your hand on his cheek. He pulled back and smiled, an almost not noticeable tear running trailed down his face. You wiped it away. “They’re gonna look just like you, I can feel it.” He smiled at you, “So you can always have me around?” “Of course.” You giggled under his gaze.
Dr. Williams took in a deep breath and cracked her fingers. “Alright, Mrs. Aizawa, I’ll need you to take in a deep breath. One, two, three in, then you gotta push. Can you do that for me, love?” You rose up higher on your arms, Sho grabbed your hand, squeezing. He caressed your face. The Doctor counted for you as you drew your breath. “Alright, One, Two, Three!”
Your lower half gained pressure. You pushed as hard as possible for about 16 seconds before letting out an exasperated breath. Your heart is racing, and sweat is on your forehead. “C’mon Mama you gotta give me more than that, a few more okay? Then we’ll be over.”
You had believed that for all of fifteen minutes until the next time. By then, your arms and thighs were completely cramped and you were assured that the quirk-canceling bracelets you wore were doing their job. Shouta had to get a rag to wipe your sweat off of you. He carefully had you drink water to keep you hydrated. At some point, you looked down to see your vagina noticeably large from the baby’s head, and it excited you. But at that point, you’d become tired. “Sho, baby this is too much, I can’t do this.”
“No Y/n, no you're gonna make it, you are going to get our precious baby here to us. And they’ll be the greatest. You said it yourself, your dreams were so strong and sweet. They need you, baby, come on, for me and the baby. One more push.”
You open your eyes. You sit for a moment before pushing yourself up. “All right, one more. One more damn push and that’s it.” You geared up your breath, grabbing Shouta’s hand stronger than before, threatening to break it if this last push didn’t work. You closed your eyes…then pushed.
Loud, tiny screams erupted from below. You gasped, crying from relief that it was finally over. “Congratulations Mrs. Aizawa, You have a beautiful baby girl.” More tears came down your face. Shouta carefully took the child in his hands, bringing her to your damp chest. Your hand shook as you pet her head. “Oh my god, Sho. Baby, it’s our baby.” The nurse came over to try and clean her up, but you held her closer to you, Shouta coming to kiss your shoulder. “Baby, let them make sure she’s okay, and let’s clean you up while they’re at it.” You slowly open your arms, petting her soft head a few times before letting her go with the doctors. “Go with them baby, make sure she’s okay.” He didn’t question your paranoia, just ran with it, being scared himself as well. Dr. Williams smiled at the two of you, but it didn’t slip past you the look of confusion on her face. You sat up, “Doctor, what is-” Another sharp pain came to your abdomen. You screamed out, gripping the sheets. Shouta broke contact with the baby and rushed back to your side. “What’s going on? What’s happening with my wife, what is it?” The Doctor smiled, going to answer him, but he only got angrier. “WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY WIFE- HELP HER.” She nodded her head, putting a new pair of gloves onto her hands and going to her bottom half. “Alright Mr. Aizawa, Nurse Remi, prepare space for another baby.” Both you and Shouta’s eyes widened and you sat up. “WHAT DO YOU MEAN ANOTHER BABY?!” Shouta on the other hand immediately went into action. “Y/n, look at me. It’s go time. I know this is horribly tough on you but baby, you have to. We are about to have two babies. You are amazing, okay?” He kissed your head. “Push baby, push.”
Luckily it only took a few pushes due to you being so stretched out from your first baby, but this one was slightly bigger. This one, as opposed to the first, stayed concerningly quiet. This one, red as hell, was barely moving. You panicked. You tried to get out of bed if it weren’t for Sho holding you down. “Wh- why isn’t he moving? Doc, do something!” She handed him over to the Nurse and Shouta left your side to watch him. “Sho? SHO! SHOUTA AIZAWA I SWEAR IF YOU DON’T TELL ME WHAT IS GOING ON I’LL TAKE YOUR GODDAMN HEAD OFF AND YOU KNOW I WILL.” The room stood in the silence of the first baby crying with an aggressive edge…
A soft slapping sound than another soft whine coming from beside it.
You smiled. Leaning back in your bed you put your arms up, signaling the nurse to hand the babies over. “Ah, Mrs. Aizawa,” You whined, “Doctor Williams. PLEASE don’t say there’s another. Or I’ll just have to murder my husband. Three? Three babies?”
The doctor sighed and nodded. “I’m afraid so, your stomach had reduced a LOT since baby number one, so it’s safe to assume it's the last one, yay!” She let out a comedic laugh to reduce the tension, but she knew it wouldn’t be over until it was.
At this point though, the baby was able to slip out on two pushes. She cried out almost immediately.
Three. Two girls, one boy.
None of them looked exactly alike. The oldest, you decided to call her Un (for the time being), came to have curled black hair that shifted into a wave on the top of her small head. Her eyelids were slightly darker than the rest of her face, causing her to look tired- although she’d only been born a few hours ago.
The second, the only boy- who you decided to call Deux, was a spitting image of his father, except for the fact that his skin was slightly more tanned than Shouta’s.
The youngest, you decided to call her Trois, instead had coiled hair, that looked like a cloud on the top of her head. Somehow, she looked a lot brighter- happier in comparison to her siblings. She was light a mini ball of light.
You had fallen asleep only a few minutes after putting Un and Trois on your breasts to feed. Shouta being awake had switched Un for Deux after a while.
She whined a bit before settling into his arms, shaking her head. Shouta looked at her small face. Her small nose. Her small pseudo-smile. Every now and again, she’d open her mouth, seeming as if she were hungry, but when he’d try to place her on her mother, she’d prefer sucking on his finger instead.
Hospital room, 1:00 pm
After a few hours, you had woken up and you put the babies in their respective cribs. Sho rolled them next to your own bed, and you spend a while simply watching them sleep.
Tears streaked down your cheeks at the sight of them. Three. Three children. You and the love of your life created these children together.
“We still have to name them. We can’t just call them numbers for the rest of their lives.”
You sighed, putting your finger on Trois’s hand and letting her grab onto it. “I know, but… I donno, I want it to be a choice that all of us can make together. I want to get some ideas from the students and our friends. We’re all a family. Maybe we can make this decision together.”
Shouta stared at you watching Trois, and his eyes widened at the smile that crept on the baby’s face.
You sobbed happily at the sight then looked back to your husband. He stared, feigning annoyance, and nodded. “But if I hear any name like ‘Baby Master of Dragons’ I’m taking them and naming them myself.”
You laughed hard at this, causing Trois to open her mouth in a silent laugh and Un to begin whining at the sudden noise. You carefully picked her up to nestle into your chest, kissing all around her face which calmed her down. Shouta, on the other hand, was aching to pick up his son but decided against it in case he disturbed his sleep (knowing from personal experience that it was torture to get back to sleep after that).
“Bakugo has grown since that name, Sho. I’m sure he may come up with a great name as well.”
Shouta hummed. “Bright hope.”
You giggled and Trois gurgled- as best as she possibly could with such fresh vocal cords.
She moved her head and arms under her blanket. Still cradling Un to your chest, you carefully took her arms out of the bundle.
The flesh was soft, you put your finger into her own hand. She squeezed it and giggled loudly. You and Shouta both smiled at her and you laid a kiss on her head.
She opened her eyes, looking right at Shouta.
His jaw dropped, and he reached his hand out to her face, smoothing over her skin with his thumb. He tried to speak, only shaking his head, not being able to voice how he felt.
Her eyes shone brightly. They were large, she had long eyelashes (courtesy of you), bright amber with golden specs in them- almost being overpowered by her pupils.
You scrunched your nose to keep any tears from coming up. You carefully bounced Un in your arms, Placing your pinky on her lips, prompting her to suck on it. Looking between the two girls, you pet Un’s hair while holding her.
Hospital Room- 3.00 pm
You and Shouta’s heads were pressed together when Dr. Williams walked in. To be Frank, neither of you had heard a knock.
“Oops, sorry Aizawa’s didn’t mean to interrupt anything.”
Shouta looked slightly annoyed, but went over to the now awake Deux and held him to his chest.
“No, not at all, is there anything wrong? Are we able to bring the kids home?”
She placed a stack of papers on the counter across from the bed. “Great news, you will be going home. We just need to run a few small checkups on the triplets, you know, heart rate, blood pressure, normal things to make sure everything is stable. And I also have the birth certificates for each of them.”
You stood up to take the discharge papers into your hand (as best as you could while holding two infants). “Thank you so much, and um..” You looked at Sho who nodded his head, “We haven’t decided on names yet. I mean, we did- but that was for one baby, not three.”
Dr. Williams waved her hand and chuckled. “That’s totally fine! You have about a week to decide on names to put on the certificate, until then, they’ll just say ‘baby boy’ or ‘baby girl’ Aizawa.”
You signed the paperwork along with Shouta. Dr. Williams insisted on giving the two of you joint strollers. They could attach to each other and become car seats if you took them off the wheels.
The hospital had also given them a large gift basket. It had three matching outfits for each of the triplets, baby bottles, and different colored pacifiers, amongst other things.
After their checkups, at about 5:00 pm , you had loaded the babies into the back seat of the car. “We’re going to have to buy a bigger car, we wouldn’t have any space for Eri or Hitoshi.”
You put a kiss on each of their heads as you buckled them in. Trois still had her eyes open, getting adjusted to the outside light, which made her look just slightly majestic. After buckling her in, you ran your finger across Un’s face, and she opened her eyes too. She only squinted, not wanting to deal with the light, as it seemed. You tapped Sho to get him to see her. Her eyes were quite like Shouta’s.
They were onyx, blending in with her pupils, looking almost like doll eyes. She glared at the sun, then closed her eyes again. “She looks just like you Sho.” After putting their visors up, you hopped into the passenger seat, leaning it back to make sure you could have access to them if you so needed.
“And Deux acts like you, he’s wanted to just sleep the whole new hours he’s been in the world.“
“Hey, he just gets it. I’d kill for a nap now.” He yawned. You gently rubbed his arm and kissed his cheek. “You can have a nap while we introduce them to their family, okay?”
“Should we have them out this early?”
“Of course Sho, they’re dying to meet the mini Aizawa, just wait til they find out there’s more.”
