Chapter Text
Tae stretches his full body as he wakes up in the early hour of the morning. He feels the bed empty beside him and wonders if Jungkook is in the bathroom, but as he slowly sits up and looks around the bedroom, he starts smelling the sweet smell of food. He quickly looks over to their nightstand and sees the time 6:07 am.
"Jungkook." Tae groans and shakes his head as he gets up and makes his way over to the kitchen.
When he sets foot into the kitchen, he gets the sweet smell of pancakes being made and Jungkook over the stove making them. Tae smiles as he walks over to him.
"You turned off my alarm, didn't you?" Tae asks as he's now back hugging him.
"I was gonna wake you up, as soon as the food was done, angel." Jungkook smiles as he turns to give Tae a quick kiss before continuing to cook. "The pups aren't even awake yet so I figured I'd let you sleep."
"Yeah but I was gonna make breakfast. You have to go to work soon, mister." Tae says as he pecks Jungkook's nape. Jungkook's scent and the warmth of his body giving him a comforting shiver as he continues to nose at the back of his alpha's neck.
"I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep so I figured I'd make breakfast." Jungkook shrugs. "I don't have to be at work until 7:30 anyways, baby."
"But you always make breakfast and cook." Tae whines. "I wanted to do it for once."
"I don't mind, angel. I like cooking for you guys." Jungkook smiles as he stacks up pancakes on a plate. "Now, do you want bacon or sausage?" He says as he asks.
"Sausage." Tae mumbles behind his neck before placing one more kiss there.
"Ok then." Jungkook lightly chuckles as he puts some sausage to cook.
Tae detaches himself from Jungkook and goes to the fridge. "Let me at least cut up some fruit to eat too. Sunny's probably gonna wake up soon too and you know how much she loves honeydew melon." Tae smiles.
Tae then goes to cut up some pieces of honeydew melon and some strawberries. He eats some as he cleans up the area and starts setting up the table.
He passes by Jungkook and feeds him a piece of honeydew melon.
"Thank you, baby." He says with a mouthful as he continues to cook.
Just then both Tae and Jungkook get an alert from one of the baby monitors on their phones.
"Sunny's up." Tae says. "I'll go get her." He says as he sees the live feed of the pup standing in her crib crying.
"Ok, food's done, thankfully." Jungkook says as he turns off the stove
Tae then goes into Sunny's nursery where the almost 2 year old is there sniffling and immediately makes grabby hands at Tae as soon as she sees him.
"Good morning princess. Did you wake up grumpy today?" Tae smiles at the pup.
"Pa- pa." The little pup whines as she she wants to be held by Tae.
Tae giggles as he picks up the pup. "Let's change your diaper and then we can go with daddy and eat some breakfast." He tells the pup before kissing her cheeks repeatedly.
The pup smiles and giggles through her tears now.
Tae then changes the pup and goes back downstairs to the kitchen where Jungkook has set up their breakfast.
"How's the little princess?" Jungkook goes to tickle the pup who giggles in Tae's arms. "I made your favorite this morning."
Tae then sits the pup in her high chair before Jungkook gives her a plate of tiny pieces of pancake and fruit and makes sure the pup is eating well before he serves himself and Tae their plates.
They both sit next to sunny and eat their breakfast as the pup makes a bit of a mess eating but both Tae and Jungkook alternating in helping her and cleaning her. Her bib is covered in food and Tae knows she'll need a bath after.
Just as they're eating, both of them get another notification of their other baby monitor on their phone.
"Teddy's awake now. I guess he knows it's breakfast time." Tae lightly giggles. He's about to get up but Jungkook shakes his head.
"Angel, I'll go get him" He quickly gets up before Tae has a chance to.
Tae sighs. Jungkook still had food in his mouth when he practically got up running. His alpha was always doing everything for him.
A little later, Jungkook comes back with the 2 month-old newborn in his arms that's crying. Jungkook places tiny kisses on his forehead and it soothes the pup as his cries die down a little before giving him over to Tae. "I think he's hangry." He lightly laughs.
Tae lightly laughs as he takes the pup and cuddles him and kisses him. "You wanna have breakfast too with your family too don't you?" Tae says as he begins to nurse the pup. Holding him against his chest with one arm as he tries to eat and also help Sunny eat her food too.
"Baby..." Jungkook lightly chuckles. "You only have two hands. Let me help Sunny eat and you nurse Teddy and eat. Ok?" He says as he scoots Sunny's plate over closer to himself.
"But you have to eat too Jungkook and then go to work." Tae pouts.
"It's ok. I got it, Angel. I'm fine. Finish your breakfast." Jungkook smiles as he helps Sunny eat.
Tae pouts but listens. He eats as he nurses the pup. But he then smiles as he watches Jungkook do the airplane thing for Sunny to finish eating the last of her food.
He smiles at how happy he feels surrounded by his family and the ones he loves. There's no other place he'd rather be and he can't imagine life without any of them.
Sometime later, Jungkook goes to get ready for work while Tae sits in the living room watching Sunny play with her toys. He holds Teddy in his arms as he cuddles him.
"You sleepy my little prince?" He asks the pup. "I know you want more cuddles don't you little prince?" Tae smiles and rubs his nose against the pup.
The tiny newborn pup seems to smile. Tae pulls away and smiles. He gets teary-eyed at seeing the beautiful pup's toothless smile, knowing he's happy in his papa's arms.
"Are you ok, Angel?"
Tae looks up to see Jungkook all dressed up and ready to go to work.
"Oh." Tae wipes away his happy tears. "Yeah. Just, Teddy was smiling. It was so precious. I wish I could've taken a picture."
Jungkook smiles fondly at him. He then goes up and gently strokes the sleeping pup's cheek. "I wish I would've seen it too."
"I'll make sure to take a pic next time." Tae giggles. "But go, you're gonna be late Jungkookie."
"Oh, you're right." Jungkook looks at the time. "I wish I could stay here with you guys instead." He sighs before giving his pup a tiny peck on his forehead. "But I'll be back before dinner, ok baby?"
"Ok." Tae nods.
Jungkook then kisses Sunny's cheek goodbye before going to his omega and kissing him goodbye too.
"Wait." Tae then says as Jungkook pulls away from the kiss. "What are you eating for lunch?"
"I didn't have time to make anything so I'll just eat something nearby." Jungkook shrugs.
"I could've made you something." Tae pouts.
Jungkook chuckles and kisses his pout away. "Baby, I'll survive."
Tae whines.
"Bye. I love you, angel." Jungkook says as he then goes to grab his suitcase and head for the door.
"I love you too." Tae replies as he watches the alpha smile at him before finally leaving.
Tae sighs. Jungkook was the perfect alpha. He couldn't have asked for a more perfect mate. He was starting to wonder if he was even good enough to be his mate. Jungkook was always so good at everything and was always doing everything.
He sits there pondering before he gets an idea. He'll make Jungkook lunch and surprise him at work with it.
Tae smiles as he gets up to put Teddy in his crib before getting started on his plan.
After some planning, doing some parental things like giving sunny a bath and whatnot, Tae makes Jungkook's favorite food. He looks at the time before taking a quick shower and putting on some cozy oversized clothes, but as he's putting on his pants, he pouts as he can't get the pants to come up any higher than his thighs and under his butt. He knows he's gained some weight after having a pup but he didn't know just how much. He was so used to wearing sweatpants, he hadn't noticed how much thicker his thighs had gotten now that he's trying to put on these oversized slacks.
Tae pouts and whines. Maybe he should start working out more, he thinks. He would usually go on walks when he took the pups in the stroller to the park but maybe that wasn't enough.
He sighs as he looks at himself in the mirror. Tiny stretchmarks on the sides of his belly too. Maybe he should look into getting rid of those too.
But he would have to plan on how to fix himself later as he wanted to make sure he would get Jungkook's lunch in on time. He always knew what time Jungkook goes on lunch as he would always call the omega. So he wants to surprise him by delivering him his favorite food.
Tae decides to borrow some of Jungkook's sweats as they're a bit bigger and cozier. Not to mention he doesn't mind having more of Jungkook's scent on himself.
He then gets the pups ready before heading over to Jungkook's work with them.
Tae arrives to Jungkook's work. He walks in with the stroller. It had been awhile since he had been there. There's a lot of new things.
But nonetheless, he goes up to the where Jungkook's office is located.
He sees the doors to Jungkook's office up ahead and smiles as he pushes the stroller with the sleeping pups in it.
"Excuse me, do you have an appointment?"
Tae freezes and turns to his left.
A pretty male omega stands there looking a bit confused.
"Uhmm..." Tae's almost stunned by how pretty this omega is. He's got a pretty face and a slim figure. Not to mention the tight pants he's wearing are doing wonders for his figure.
"I'm sorry. You need an appointment in order to meet with Mr. Jeon." The omega says coming a little closer. "I can book you one if you want." The omega then smiles.
"I-I'm his mate." Tae then says.
"Oh. I'm so sorry. I didn't realize." The omega blushes.
"W-Who are you?" Tae then asks the omega.
"Oh, I'm Felix. I'm Mr. Jeon's new secretary." The pretty omega smiles at Tae.
"S-Secretary?"
