Chapter Text
So, I recently got back into writing and remembered that I had this unfinished fic lying around. I wrote it about 8 years ago, and I wanted to continue it, but I knew I wanted to rewrite it. This is both because my voice has changed in the past 8 years and for narrative consistency sake. It's also been about eight years since I last read the series, and I never read past the House of Hades, so I apologize for incorrect details or out of characterness.
I deleted the original chapter 1 as it was writing that, to be honest, I was quite embarrassed about. I would delete the space it took up from the fic, but apparently that screws things up on AO3's end, so I turned this into an authors note. The story officially begins in chapter 2!
