It’s been quite some years since you started working here at the pizzaplex. You can’t help but reminisce about the past fondly.
You were recently of age as an adult with a lot on your plate with regards to college and job hunting. Deciding on a whim to visit Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex that was opened recently when it was the latest trend at the time. You walked around the facility admiring the neat retro decor. It was not bad in your opinion, some of the games they had were fun and the merch was alright. You’ve done some minor research on the place and it still amazed you on just how advanced technology has become to make robots so lifelike and sentient. Appreciating it in your own way as you watched Freddy and his friends perform a live concert to a large crowd of adults and children alike.
You smiled slightly as you watched the kids enjoy themselves with their families. Reaching a hand to your pocket, you pulled out a map (thanks mapbot… really spooked you that time) and looked at it. This place was freaking huge, having a hard time deciding where to go next. You hadn’t tried visiting the theatre yet and than you remembered that there was a show coming up at that location. Thinking it was a good time killer before you head home, you made your way towards the theatre.
You were easily let in by the staffbot after showing them your guest ticket, you chose a random seat to sit down. The loud chatter from other patrons filling the area before it quickly became quiet as the show was coming up. Soon enough the lights around you dimmed and the stage was lit up brightly. And at that time, you couldn’t believe your eyes at what you saw.
“Ladies and Gentlemen! Please welcome our stars for the show, Sundrop and Moondrop!”
The audience oohed and ahhed as they clapped in response as the red curtains drew back and revealed a tall animatronic.
“Helllloooo~! Everyone! Thanks for coming to the show! So excited you’re all here!”
You stared at this new animatronic in awe. Dressed in bright colors and frilly clown couture, orange spikes adorning the sides of its- his faceplate in a depiction of his namesake. Sundrop… Your chest felt warm and tingly as you watched the energetic animatronic move so cutely in a comical way. Their body language is so fluid with such character as they performed. Moving across the stage as they danced and swung on their wire like an aerial silk dance.
You gasped as the lights turned off and you heard a different voice coming from the animatronic. A dark blue animatronic was what you saw in place of Sundrop. Where did they come from? How did they get here? You grew more excited at this new discovery during the performance . “This must be Moondrop!” you thought. The lunar animatronic just as easily captured your attention as their counterpart did. Unlike Sun, Moon’s movements were more graceful and controlled. But they did share the same energy of playfulness as they bounced on their little bell shoes with all kinds of flips and twists with their flexible body.
It was like they put a spell on you. Because it felt like no one else was there around you, only having your eyes on them the whole time. The performance was magical to you, the choreography was aligned beautifully with the music as they switched up the lighting between parts. Sometimes Moon, and sometimes Sun just like how night and day functioned. Your heart fluttered as you made eye contact with the robot for a brief second, but it was enough to leave you flustered and your face warm.
Sadly all things must come to an end, as Sundrop gave a bow to the audience. The people and yourself included gave a round of applause at the amazing show. You sighed regretfully that it ended too soon for your liking but nonetheless clapped along with a big smile. Soon after you were ushered off to the exit. Your mind was constantly occupied by the animatronic’s smile and blue eyes. You couldn’t get Sun and Moon out of your mind even after the show, everything else you thought of the plex paled in comparison to those two.
You giggled as you walked down the halls seeing promotional posters of Moondrop and Sundrop, noting how the animatronic was a very recent addition to the gang and that today’s show was a big introduction for them. Damn… that means there is yet to have any merchandise of them. Well, now you have an excuse to come back here again. Your heart skipped a beat at the possibility of seeing the cute animatronic again. But it was getting late, and it was about time you headed home.
It's been a few weeks since that day, and you were currently experiencing withdrawals from not seeing them. You’ve just been really busy lately with your studies and job hunting, although you’ve been coping with some merchandise you managed to buy of Sun and Moon. Right now you currently own both posters of Sundrop and Moondrop and some stickers, which was a pitiful amount compared to the buttload of merchandise of Freddy and the gang they already have. They were still technically considered brand new animatronics and Fazbear Entertainment announced that they will be making more merchandise as soon as possible. And from some bad luck you haven’t managed to see them in person either, there weren’t any shows announced and even if there was you would be too busy to come watch either. (Not to mention how expensive a guest pass was.)
Laying on your bed you sighed as you mindlessly scroll through your phone, you were just reading through the official Fazbear blog looking for updates. Anything on Moon and Sun. Sadly there weren't many updates on them currently, bummer. You were pretty bored, and sad. What should you do now? With an imaginary lightbulb that lit up, you were struck with a great idea. There’s not much merchandise on Sun and Moon, but who's to say if you can just make some yourself!
You shoot up from your bed and immediately start rummaging through your room for your crafting supplies. Feeling giddy as you took in your sketchbook, an empty scrapbook, paints and your resin kit, your passion for Moondrop and Sundrop reignited your creativity into revisiting your old hobbies. Turning on your phone to display an image of Sun and Moon for reference, you set to work. You had a lot of fun doodling and crafting little trinkets with Sun and Moon as your muse.
You kind of made it a daily ritual of checking the official blog for any updates on your favorite animatronics. Sure there were some cool updates like how the plex is adding a raceway to the attractions but frankly you couldn't care less. But today made you really annoyed… Apparently not a lot of folks seem to care about visiting the theater after the hype of Sun and Moon died down, the reason being that the main stars Freddy and his gang are usually the ones running the shows and making the theater practically useless.
Why… Why!?
What did Sun and Moon do wrong??? Nothing! It makes you really angry that Sun and Moon aren’t getting enough attention when it's overshadowed by the Glamrock gang. And you have come to terms you are a devoted fan-! Simp for the celestial animatronic. Please. Please. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON’T DECOMMISSION THEM!!! You would die on the spot if that were to happen!
You start frantically searching through the blog at those thoughts, glossing through the words and assessing any important info. Until you land on a very recent post about the mega pizzaplex.
Dear patrons,
Due to the theater being underused and unpopular it is decided that the animatronic ‘Sundrop’ and ‘Moondrop’ will be moved and repurposed to a future facility where we are currently developing a daycare for future patrons who wished to have their kids 4-10 years old be taken care of by our well-trained staff to further enrich your time and experience at the Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex. We will be accepting hires to work in the daycare when the time comes.

Sun and Moon are going to work in the daycare? And their hiring…? You sense a great opportunity coming your way that’s just waiting to be taken! You get to have a job with a great salary and you’ll get the chance to meet them in person! You brought up your resume from your files and immediately picked up your phone, dialing the number. “Hello! Is it true you are hiring?”
