So Dream is a Server Keeper (smt I just made up) and his job is to make sure everything on the server runs smoothly and to eliminate anything that may cause issues for the server.
Along comes L'manburg that breaks every single rule in place and so Dream retaliates with the same energy which pisses L'manburg off and they paint Dream as an awful person who only wants control (the control part is kinda true ig)
• Server keepers are programmed by administrators to deal with threats a certain way (mostly matching the energy of the threat so if people are violent the S.K's will respond with violence)
• S.K's are purposely programmed without a very developed sense of morals so no matter what they will always get the job done
• The smp Members don't know this so as time goes on and they become more and more violent in an effort to stop Dream they only make it worse
• Dreams nature as a S.K is somehow revealed preferably by Phil or Bad and the smp members feel bad and try to make things right w/ Dream (They put everything on hold and try to help Dream simmer down after months of agitation and stuff)
