Chapter Text
Life was really cruel to Senko.
All she wanted, was to have the most precious person in all worlds by her side.
Souko was more important than even science (which had been her priority until her daughter was born) and now, she lost her.
In a sea of people.
- Souko! - Senko yelled, desperation and fear continuously growing.
"Please, don't make me lose her too."
Then a very familiar voice reached her ears.
- Mom! - Souko ran over to hug her with a huge smile on her face.
- Souko! - Senko hugged her like her life depended on it. - Thank goodness you're okay...! - Heavy footsteps approaching them were heard, but she paid it no mind.
- But mom... - 9 year old girl looked up. -a nice person helped me find you.
A clearly male person coughed into his fist awkwardly.
- Really? - Senko looked up. - Thank you...
She froze.
Banjou Ryuuga (when did he move to Tokyo?) gaped at her with his mouth open in shock.
Souko, bless her obliviousness, perked up.
- Mom, this is the person who helped me! - And pointed at Banjou.
- Sento...? - He whispered, but it was loud enough for her (and unknowingly, Souko who tilted her head in confusion) to hear.
Senko felt her world crack.
She was not ready.
Not ready to face her old partner.
"Shitshitshitshitshit-" was all she thought, her panic rising.
Banjou approached them slowly.
- Sen- - He tried to say, but the woman who clearly looks like his Sento, lifted her daughter and ran away. - to...?
All, that was left in their spot, was silence.
