kamishir0rui: hello nene, you seemed tired during practice today
rui anxiously waited for a response from his girlfriend.
during their troupe practice, she kept forgetting her lines and seemed quiet throughout.
while walking home, he grabbed her hand making sure their fingers intertwined and brushed his thumb against her hand but she didn't do the same like she always did and the final sign was she didn't give him his goodbye kiss when reaching home, just an awkward sad smile and a wave.
rui lightly traced his lips and remembered the feeling of nene's soft lips on his.
the feeling he currently craved.
suddenly, he heard the loud notification from the discord app.

rui was confused as to why nene had to ask for permission to come over when she'd literally come to sleep over every other friday.
soon enough, he heard nene's soft knock on his room door.
his mother would have let her in without him noticing.
immediately he opened his door, nene collapsed in his arms.
rui was tensed and shocked by that action.
he held her and shut the door then took her to his bed.
he sat up and let her lay on his lap as he stroked her soft hair.
"nene?" she hummed in response.
"whats up with you? ive been worried you know?" rui said softly.
nene sighed "school's been pretty stressful and you know how our relationship is still new, i'm still getting used to opening up and this kind of stuff and i feel one day you won't be able to put up with me and my problems anymore."
rui understood everything she said.
he pulled her up and gave her a tight hug.
"i am not putting up with you nene, i really do love you, so much."
nene's heart melted as she rubbed rui's back slowly.
"hey, nene?" she looked up at him.
"can i kiss you?"
"you know you don't need to ask." she replied with a cheeky smile
with that, rui pressed his lips against hers and her hands went to his purple strands, digging her fingers into his scalp.
rui hummed in satisfaction and they let go.
they enjoyed the rest of the night in each other's embrace.
