The silence of the forgotten forest was broken by the strife of battle and the low crackle static.
A number of monstrosities hunted the dreamers, their white shapes emanated an eerie light in the dark.
Lucia: "What ARE these things!?"
Derrick: "They're everywhere!"
Reggie: "I can't get a read on them for some reason..."
Lucia: "They already got garry... what are we going to do!"
Lucia: "Don't they have any weaknesses!? Reggie!"
Reggie: "I try reading them, but all I get is static!"
Lucia had trouble sensing their presence, she sensed their hostility as a garbled, distorted tangled mess all over the air.
Derrick: "Where'd they go? I've lost sight of them!"
Lucia: "Derrick! behind you!"
From behind a tree, a clawed monster swiped, Derrick just barely dodged thanks to Lucia's warning, but Reggie, who was parched on Derrick's shoulder, was hit.
Reggie: "AAAA-"
Reggie seemed to disappear as the monster struck, his shape being consumed by the static, his eyes pleading for rescue as he screamed.
Lucia: "!"
Derrick: "You'll... pay for that!"
Derrick conjured a mass of dark flesh and teeth from his arm, lunging at the monster with fierce power, the creature caught the full hit, seeming to be torn to bits by the gnashing theeth.
Derrick: "...!"
Derrick's arm began to be covered by the same TV static, it began to feel numb, as if his arm began to cease to exist.
Lucia: "DERRICK!"
Derrick: "Run! Lucia!"
Derrick: "Fly away with Ira!"
Derrick's full shape was consumed by the static, disappearing as Reggie did.
Lucia: "No... No! DAMMIT!"
Lucia's outfit changed to a veil of mourning with golden trim and dark colors, she lunged at the monster with her purple glowing sword.
Lucia: "I'LL KILL YOU ALL!"
Lucia, thinking her dearest friend was taken from her, screeched out, alerting the others to her presence, soon. A horde of the beasts was rushing towards her.
Lucia: "Haah!"
Lucia lunged forward at them, being consumed by the festering mass of static monstrosities.
