My Heart is Stereo
First time when they saw him in college campus, it’s like the missing piece of their soul has been found. It can be called Love at first site (How absurd! If you would has asked them before but now…who knows). He was standing there looking all beautiful, even with glasses on his nose which he was continually keep touching to keep them at place. Black coal eyes and sun kissed skin, is that lip gloss, on his lips?? Oh! how much they want devour those lips!! Ear cuffs, some necklaces and rings and oh so simple but beautiful clothes. He was not built like them, not all muscles, he was thin but definitely strong. Its like some Dancer body, they can swear that definitely their will be some abs if they look closer. Who are you?? Is the only thought which was going on in their pretty little heads.
Wait wait wait! Let me introduce them first. They. Are. Alec Lightwood and Jace Wayland. Neighbors, Friends, best friends, crushes and then lovers, if somebody call them soulmates, they wouldn’t deny that. Alec and Jace met first time when they were in kindergarten. Their friendship took flight when one day Alec’s mother receives a call from his school that Alec is injured and has been detained and they have to come to school. Robert and Maryse left everything and run to Alec’s School. What they found was that Alec beat another classmate Jonathan because he was making fun of Jace as he didn’t have parents, he lives with his grandmother and Jace was felt like crying and As Alec is protector of his siblings even in such a small age, he couldn’t just stand at watch! he pushed the other guy and then all hell break loose. It was tough fight but Alec punches that other guy in face and broke his nose, teacher detained them and call their parents.
Since then, they become best friends. They used to spend all the time together, its like they can read each other like open book. Its beautiful. When they completed their school and took admission in same University in their town, that night they went out for drinks and pour their heart out to each other. Since then, they were unbreakable.
Now, they were sitting in cafeteria and having lunch where they saw him again. On their table there was Isabelle Lightwood, Clary Fray, Simon Lewis, Meliorn. On the other table, Catarina Loss, Ragnor fell, Raphael Santiago and “him”. Nobody knows his name, the only thing they know was that, he was a new transfer, and that his father is one of the biggest businesses man from New York and he wants to spend some time from away from city and is building a little business in their town. When they were looking at him, just for a moment, he looked up from his food and found that they were looking at him, he blushed and gave them beautiful smile.
After few days, Izzy told Maryse that she will have a friend over. Alec and Jace was in Alec’s room when doorbell rang and Izzy ran to open the door and welcomed her guest. Maryse came from kitchen and greet him. Alec and Jace felt the commotion downstairs and wanted to check what’s going on and when they see who it was, they literally missed some steps and tumbled down the stairs. After an awkward silence where Izzy was laughing loudly, their guest was trying to stifle his smile.
Izzy: This is my mom, Maryse, that tall dark, hazzled eyed guy is my brother Alec and other mismatched eyes one is Jace. And everyone this is Magnus. He is new transfer from New York and my classmate and is here to help me Math's.
Magnus, first looked towards Maryse and little bowed down and took her and kissed the back side and spoke.
Magnus: Hello Mam, now I get it where Izzy got her beauty. You are gorgeous.
Maryse: Aren’t you a charmer darling, call me Maryse.
Magnus then turned towards Alec and Jace, and reach for hand shake, and oh! so strong hands, they shook their hands and then Izzy dragged Magnus away from scene towards her room.
Few days later, Alec and Jace were coming back from one of their weekly dates, when they heard whimpered from ally, they saw some guys were harassing a small boy and saying nonsense and then they realized its Jonathan and his gang. They ran towards them and saved the boy, he was sitting on floor and his face was between his hands, as soon as Jonathan saw Alec and Jace, he flew form scene. Alec squats down and touched the guy and realized the boy was trembling and shaking like a leaf.
Alec: “Hey, you are safe now. They will not hurt you anymore. Can you look at me please?”
As soon as the boy looked up, all the air punched out from Alec and Jace’s stomach, because its none other than Magnus he had bruises all over his face and cut on his lips. As soon as he saw Alec, he started crying. Jace gave Alec his handkerchief and Alec cleaned Magnus’s face, as much as he could without making it hurt more.
Alec: “what happened Magnus? What are you doing here alone, at this late?”
Magnus: (his jaw was hurting but still wanted to answer Alec): “I…I…was coming from my dance classes, when…when they saw me and dragged me here and started saying things….and …..and…” Magnus trailed off….
And he started crying…Alec: “Come here”, he hugged Magnus so tight. Magnus started crying a loud and hid his face in Alec’s chest. An unknown kind of relief he felt like he was safe. Jace crouched down beside Magnus and also hugged him from side. When they get up from their position, Magnus realized he can’t go home like this, Alec offered him to take him to his home, as his parents were out for a business trip and Izzy will be at Clary’s for nightcap. Magnus messaged his father that he will spend night at his friend’s place.
Once they reach home, Alec ushered Magnus to the bathroom to clean up first and gave him, his own t-shirt which is slightly shorter on Alec and so it should be perfect on Magnus. Jace and Alec were sitting on bed and they both were fuming with anger for Jonathan and were already plotting a revenge. When Magnus came out from bathroom, it’s like whole world stop spinning, because there stand Magnus in Alec’s shirt which is still bigger on him and coming down from one shoulder and black boxers, hair down due to shower and without makeup, he was “beautiful”. When Magnus noticed their reaction, he started blushing and his face looked like tomato, he cleared his throat. They came out of their trance. Alec asked Jace to bring First aid-box from kitchen and asked Magnus to sit on bed. he crouched in front of Magnus and took the disinfectant from kit and clean the wounds. Jace held Magnus’s hand tightly, because it was hurting and he felt like crying again. Alec bandaged and plastered everything as much as he could. They offered Magnus the guest room, but after everything happened today, he didn’t want to sleep alone, Jace realized his hesitation and directly asked Magnus if he wants to share bed with them, he shyly agreed. So now they all three were laying on Alec’s bed. Alec in middle one side Jace who was using Alec as pillow and other side Magnus, who was keeping some distance. After few moments Alec nudged Magnus and asked him if he want to come closer, which Magnus reluctantly agreed and came closer to Alec and snuggle against him, Jace automatically held Magnus’s had over Alec’s Stomach and they sleep peacefully. It’s like something clicked at that moment. They knew that they needed to talk but that can wait.
