The air in your and Bubba's room was thick enough to cut and a warm breeze came through the open window. It had been a long day of chores and you both were exhausted. As soon as you were both done with your respective chores, you plopped down in bed. Bubba laid on his back in the center of the bed and you situated yourself on top of him between his thighs. You tucked your head into his neck as he ran his fingers through your hair. You let out a long sigh, "I love you, Tommy." He gently lifted your chin and kissed you.
You had been in relationships in the past, but the only person you've ever truly loved was Tom. You couldn't help but fall in love with every little thing about him. To his love handles to his curly mop of hair. You couldn't get enough of him. Your knees went weak at his smell alone, his hands can make you sob, you would truly do anything for him. And he has proven time and time again that he'd do the same.
He stared into your eyes with that sappy look of his and your heart melted. You kissed him and willed him to feel all of your adoration and love for him. He slowly drew back to move you over and wrap the both of you in the well loved quilt adorning the bed.
As you breathed in his scent, you couldn't help but feel entirely at peace. In that moment, you wished with all your soul that this feeling would never fade. Tommy seemed to wish the same as he held onto you for dear life.
