Dust was thrashing on the bed as his body radiated LV. He was having a nightmare. No pun intended.Thus began to cry out and nightmare felt his negativity through the entire castle. Nightmare news He had to stop this flare up and this nightmare before dust destroyed his room for a third time this month. Lately it was that time of the year where all the boys would get nightmares or night terrors and things that would cause them to either flare up in their sleep or destroy things a little too much. Normally Nightmare would have them go into the secure holding sales but sometimes they just happened randomly and they couldn't stop them. Dust sobbed angrily as Nightmare gently opened the door to see the room mostly intact to his immense relief.
Nightmare avoided the flares of magic and bones shooting all over the place and hurried over to the bed. Nightmare dodged the bones being thrown his way and hissed as one nicked his cheek. He grumbled “Now I’ve got a mini scar like Cross until I feed on negativity to heal again.” He rolled his one eye and honed in on the thrashing Dust on the bed. He needed to stop this as soon as possible. Once he was able to get right next to the bed, he climbed onto it and he gently wrapped his tentacles around Dust and prevented the other from moving at all.
Once Dust was completely immobile he gently tugged the scarf down and exposed his neck. He purred happily and bared his fangs as he bit down on Dust’s neck and began to suck the liquid negativity out of his body. Slowly but surely Dust began to calm down and finally stopped the magic aura around his body which was his level 20 magic drained and began to fade. The bones which were all impaled in the walls also turned into dust and Dust slowly woke up. Nightmare unlatched and licked the wound, causing Dust to shiver in pleasure as Nightmare licked his fangs purring. “Delicious as always my dear~”
Dust groaned weekly and whined a little bit at Nightmares concerned but stern face and muttered under his breath "had another nightmare didn't I? No pun intended, boss...." Nightmare chuckled softly and nodded "Yes you did but I was able to stop in time. You didn't destroy much this time. A few holes in the walls that are easy to fix. Don't you worry. Are you okay?" Dust nodded softly and nightmare gently released him from his tentacles but before he could fully do so Dust grabbed the tendrils and mumbled "Don't let go. It's like a weighted blanket for me. I like it and it's easier to calm down." Nightmare was a bit surprised because normally the boys didn't request to be held captive after being awoken like this but he allowed it and murmured "I'll look into getting you all some weighted blankets. They should help you sleep." Dust eagerly nodded at that suggestion “Can I get one in purple?”
Nightmare chuckled and nodded “I’ll take you all out to an AU that likes us, and we’ll find some for each of you. Error, Cross, Horror, Killer and you can all have a nice blanket to help you sleep when I can’t help you alright?” Dust purred loudly and nodded yawning. Nightmare purred and rumbled “Sleep now. I’ve got you. You and Phantom.” A pair of eyes flashed behind Dust’s head in approval. Phantom, or Dust’s brother Papyrus approved of Nightmare, because he acknowledged he existed, and didn’t blow Dust off like every other AU did. Dust snuggled closer and nodded his eyes drooping in his tired state. Nightmare gently began to rock him slowly and whispered sweet nothings into where his ears would be and Dust slowly fell asleep. Another night, another nightmare.... Nightmare was just glad he was able to help his boys and they always fed him so well.
