There is a time when rook still remembers one word when he was a child that is given by his father.
'if you found your soulmate kill yourself '
He might not get it once when he was a child, but now he knew... After his father was gone, died because of an overdose... He is finally free. No more pain can be felt, no more stomach that needs to be filled, no more excuse and lie.
Rook lives a happy life.
Finished his college and when to become the police. Even with a happy life, he is scared of himself if he found his soulmate. He knew, that many had a happy and beautiful life if they meet their half.. he should be but he is scared.
One word from his father will continue rolling into his mind.
So when he got kidnapped by one of the seed's family...mainly Jacob seed. Got tortured, similar to his father abused... He was glad really glad that no one tell him the same words he uses.
He can handle this, he can handle the pain as he once did when he was a child.
It was when Jacob out to meet his brothers, Joseph and John (where he didn't kill him, he will never kill a family, he won't... He won't kill a happy family, even if they are sucked up psychopaths) he manage to walk out from the bar, grabbing one of the guns and walk out. Sirens were sound as he killed some. Before he even manage to open the exit door his legs got shoot and he fell
He snarls at Jacob who shoots him
"Fuck you"(not knowing he will kill himself as the word next comes out)
Jacob in all glory looks strong and speaks that could only know what it means to him.
"you are strong, but not strong enough"
One word, one word, and his world crash. Rook's eyes quickly dimmed into the paleness can it get. Skin turned from cream to white. Mouth hanging open.
Both seem speechless.
He saw Jacob turn around. The door burst open as the chosen came and handle him. The only thing rook can do
He laughs. He laughs so hard that his throat is almost sore. He began to say the word repeatedly like his father once told, once his father order him, once his father brainwashed and manipulate him. He bit down the chosen arm the one who close to him when he struggle out, grab the gun that is fell
He smiled as he saw the gun longingly in his hand, saying one word that he can come out

Position the gun to his head smiling when he saw Jacob ran towards him, next thing he knows... Darkness everywhere.
