Work Text:
Chongyun woke up laying in a bed he did not recognize under the gaze of a mysterious woman. She sat on the edge of the bed, her long flowing white hair draping over him. Something about her seemed familiar, but he couldn’t quite place it. Whatever it was, it wasn’t enough to stop panic from setting in.
Memories returned to him as fragments, faded and broken. He had been searching. Qingxu pool? Was it for something? Someone? He couldn’t remember finding anything important. Another failed exorcism job? What a surprise. He was hopeless.
The last thing he could remember was an assault of monsters. They had been hiding inside the ruins where a hostile spirit was rumored to be lurking. More beasts than he had ever seen in one place before. A shielded mitachurl rushed at him before he could react. The last thing he could remember was pain. Horrible pain. Chongyun winced at the memory.
The woman hovering over him spoke, seemingly able to read the distress on his face. “Aw Yun… You don’t remember your auntie?”
Chongyun struggled to respond. Everything was still foggy. When he shifted to try to move a dreadful soreness stopped him. “Sh-Shenhe?” he croaked out her name, trying to focus her face. His memories were still fuzzy but her presence was enough to ease his worries. Her expression looked so patient. Some part of him instinctively knew she was safe. For now, that was enough.
“Please rest. You’re healing. I don’t think anything is broken, but you have significant bruising. I will give you some medicine for the pain, then please go back to sleep for me.” Shenhe ran her fingers through his hair as she spoke. He remembered something, Auntie always used to do this to comfort him when he was young. Maybe it was pathetic how such a simple touch could feel so meaningful. But he didn’t care. Not when it was the first positive touch he had felt in years.
Before he could recall too much, his memory was shattered by another wave of pain. It was bad enough that he let out a cry. Shenhe seemed to take notice as she hurried to grab something off the bedside table. Between her fingers she shifted a small vial. She used her other hand to gently guide his chin upward. She opened up the vial and lifted it to his lips, then watched him drink down its syrupy contents. The taste was medicinal—most likely a mix of qingxin and other herbs. Bitter and unpleasant but hopefully effective. “Very good,” Shenhe offered him praise and returned to stroking his hair in the same familiar manner.
“I guess it’s been a while since we last saw each other,” Shenhe said before pausing. “I know there is... familial tension. I understand if you want nothing to do with me after this. But, I could not leave you injured. When I found you, you were unconscious. I do not want to think of what would have happened had I not been nearby.” Chongyun stared up at her. He wanted to stay. Returning home would mean his family would find out about what had happened. He could already feel the rage of his mother and the disappointment of his father. Nothing was more shameful than a failed exorcism this late into his training.
Here he could heal. Maybe this was better. “I’ll stay,” Chongyun murmured.
Rapidly, the medicine seemed to take its effect. Exhaustion kicked in before he could protest it. Eyelids drooped shut. The pain diminished slightly. This is good. Auntie is safe. Chongyun decided as he faded into sleep.
Chongyun woke up and Shenhe was still beside him, as if she had never left.
“Good morning, Yun. How are you feeling?”
“Uh, I think I’ll be okay,” he said, ignoring the ache still present in his body. “I have to go home.” He sat up in bed trying to steady himself. “I wouldn’t want my mother to worry.” Angry. I don’t want her to get so angry. He’d gone a whole day without any training. No excuse would be good enough, especially when he was at fault.
“Not to downplay everything you have done. I mean– I am incredibly grateful. You didn’t have to rescue me back there and then you even let me into your home and looked after me. I am so sorry you had to even see me in that situation. You really didn’t have to. So um… Thank you.” Chongyun shifted his gaze to the floorboards in embarrassment.
“Just the last part is fine. Thank you is enough.”
“Thank you, Auntie… I have so much to learn from you.”
“As for your mother, I have already contacted her. She knows of your… incident. We both agreed that it would be best for you to stay here and train for a while. But, if you wish to return home, I will not force you to stay.” It was strange. The person he had often been told to avoid made him feel more at ease than anyone else. Why she was outcast from the family was a mystery to him.
Despite Shenhe’s reputation for being dangerous, the only Shenhe he could remember was the one he knew in his childhood. Head resting in her lap, she would often brush his hair for hours. It was something small, but it felt special. His childhood memories of Shenhe were precious to him. It was a time when being a kid was enough. A time before the training.
“Please let me stay and train with you,” Chongyun said. He watched for her reaction. Shenhe looked happy. Maybe things would be better here.
Shenhe was a perfect trainer. Despite never dealing with congenital positivity personally, seemed to have an intuitive understanding of how to help him through his burts of it. It was just a temporary solution though. Repressing the energy always seemed to bring it back in another form. The painful burning of yang energy inside him would always come back, sometimes without a trigger.
Shenhe took a more physical approach than most trainers he’d met. It made sense in a way. She would help train his spirit, his flexibility and afterwards he was always treated to a massage. He found comfort in Shenhe’s hands. He didn’t question it when her hands started to wander during massages. It was just another form of affection between them.
One morning after meditation, as Chongyun was gathering extra ingredients for his popsicles Shenhe approached with a proposal. “Yun, would you like to try another way of suppressing your yang energy?”
Chongyun nodded with excitement. His yang energy had gotten the better of him too many times. If his other training with Shenhe was any indication, this would be a great help.
Shenhe took his hand in response and led him back to the room he’d temporarily been calling home. A mat was already laid out on the floor near his bed. Much of their training took place outdoors but it seemed that Shenhe was prepared to try a different approach.
“Yun.. before we begin, I need to ask that you keep this a secret. Can you do that?”
“Of course!” He put a great amount of trust into Shenhe’s methods. After all, she had already spent weeks of her valuable time on helping him train after his injury.
“Not even your mother. This technique can be hard on your body. You wouldn’t want to worry her, would you?”
Chongyun shook his head. “Never.”
“Mmm okay. It may get worse before it gets better. You’ll have to be brave.” Chongyun nodded. He wanted to make his family proud. He wanted to have self control—no matter the cost.
“I know how much you like your massages. Today we are going to try something a bit more rigorous.”
“What do I need to do?”
“First, you’ll need to remove those bulky layers.”
“L-like my clothes?” Chongyun squeaked, face flushing at the idea.
“Yes, dear.”
Chongyun swallowed down his anxiety and slowly began removing his outer layers. “Shenhe… Are you sure this is okay?” Shenhe just hummed in response and helped him lift the shirt over his head. It was embarrassing to be undressed by someone else, especially when he was perfectly capable of doing the job himself.
Chongyun stood in front of Shenhe and fidgeted awkwardly under her gaze. “Aren’t you forgetting something?” she asked. Chongyun shook his head. She couldn’t possibly mean his pants, right?
“Do you need help, Yun? It’s okay. Nothing to be ashamed of.”
Chongyun couldn’t find the words. He stood frozen in place as Shenhe’s hands glided down his chest to rest at his waistband. A mix of shame and embarrassment stirred in his gut as Shenhe pulled his pants down to his ankles and helped him step out of them.
Heat flushed through him again. Being so exposed in front of her was overwhelming. He couldn’t bear to meet her gaze. “Shenhe.. It’s embarrassing,” he pleaded with her.
He felt weird.
Wrong.
“It will be okay, baby. You’ll be tougher by the end. Isn’t that what you wanted?” Chongyun nodded. He wanted it more than anything. “That’s what I thought. You don’t have to be scared. We will take things slow. I want you to lie on the mat. Just relax. Rest your eyes and slow your breathing like when we practice meditation.”
Chongyun lied on his stomach, closing his eyes and attempting to follow Shenhe’s instructions. He had always enjoyed Shenhe’s massages but this seemed different. Even so, he trusted her. Shenhe always took good care of him.
“Nice and easy,” Shenhe cooed. Chongyun focused on his breathing in an attempt to mask his nerves. In and out. Slow, deep breaths.
Until…..
Something wet dripped down his back and he gasped in surprise. An oil that Shenhe coated her hands in was heating between their shared touch. Her hands were soft, so much softer than he ever could have imagined when layers of clothing normally restricted them. Shenhe’s hands glided down his back, slowly giving him time to adjust. She was unusually gentle. Chongyun relaxed into her touch, exhaling a sigh of relief as her hands stroked over the contours of his muscle.
“You’re doing so well, Yun. So good for me.” He was always embarrassed by praise but receiving it while he was undressed was somehow worse.
Chongyun’s yang energy was under control until Shenhe’s hands moved from his back down to his legs. Her delicate hands trailed up from his calves to his inner thighs, carefully massaging in a way that made him feel funny. Every so often her fingertips would sneak underneath his underwear, accidentally stroking the spots he knew no one else was supposed to. The sensation served as a reminder that the only thing separating them now was a thin layer of fabric.
The next time her hands brushed against his privates he couldn’t help the way his body reacted. He squirmed underneath her, a whine escaping his lips. Something was happening. A dull ache grew inside of him. “A-Auntie Shenhe… My tummy feels weird. What should I do?”
He heard a soft laugh from Shenhe, “We won’t be suppressing your yang energy today. You need to expend it. Turn over and lie on your back.” Obediently, Chongyun opened his eyes to adjust himself and turn over. As he did, he noticed a growing erection straining against his underwear. Horribly embarrassed, he sat up and hurried to cover his crotch. Doing everything in his power to stay hidden despite being so exposed.
Chongyun turned his body away from her. There was no way he could look at her after doing something so dirty. He didn’t understand everything, but he could tell it was not okay for anyone to see this, especially his Auntie.
“Shenhe… I’m so sorry! I promise I’m taking training seriously!” Despite his best effort, tears welled up in his eyes.“I don’t know why that happened,” he whimpered. She had to have seen it. It was impossible to avoid. The tears building in his eyes started to run down cheeks. Shenhe would surely hate him, and she would be right to. He was disgusting.
Before he could react, Shenhe’s hands found him again, reassuring him. “I know you’re sensitive. It’s okay.” She traced circles into his shoulder in an attempt to soothe him.
“I-I’m sorry,” he repeated.
“Yun, you’re okay. Do you trust me?”
“Of course.”
“Come here.” Chongyun turned around to face Shenhe again and she wiped his tears away. She took his hand and led him back to his bed, leaning against the headboard and making space between her thighs for him to sit. Chongyun crawled into Shenhe’s embrace and rested his back against her. It didn’t take long for him to feel at ease again within her arms.
As soon as Chongyun settled, Shenhe’s hands resumed with stroking his inner thighs. The feeling of heat burning through his body grew more overwhelming with every touch. “I think we need to take these things off,” Shenhe said while breaching the elastic of his underwear. “They’re dirty.”
Chongyun’s heart fluttered in his chest. “Is it really okay?” he asked. Shenhe slid his underwear down in response and Chongyun tried to lift his hips a little to help her. Embarrassment flooded through him again now that his hardness was fully visible. He wanted to crawl out of her grasp but didn’t, out of fear of disappointing his Auntie.
“You don’t have anything to be ashamed of Yun. It’s normal for your body to respond like this. It just means you feel good.” Did it feel good? The sensation was so foreign that it frightened him. His body ached in a way he did not yet have the words to describe. But since it was Shenhe he decided it was okay.
“You make me feel good too,” Shenhe whispered in his ear, causing him to shiver. “Next time we train together I’ll show you what that means.”
Shenhe’s fingers grazed along the side of his cock, measuring his length. “Mmmh... Look at how big you’ve gotten. I’m sure you’ll make a pretty lady very happy someday.” Chongyun flushed more, if it was possible to do so. He hadn't thought much about girls before. He couldn’t imagine other girls touching his body the way Auntie did. “Close your eyes, Yun,” Shenhe said, pressing a kiss to his cheek. He listened, because watching the scene unfold was overloading his mind.
Chongyun gasped in surprise when he felt Shenhe’s hand run over the head of his cock, smearing precum over his length. His body felt so incredibly sensitive that even the smallest motions were overwhelming.
“Does that feel nice?” Shenhe asked as she closed her hand into a fist around him. He whined at the new sensation and the heat surging throughout his body grew more intense. “St-Stop–!” but his pleas were cut short by the realization that his own body was rocking upward in search of friction.
The intensity did not stop as Shenhe began working her hand up and down his cock in slow agonizing strokes. “Auntie.. A-Auntie!” he called out breathless. “Something.. Is gonna!”
“Just let it out baby. ”
In that moment, he put his trust into Shenhe and gave into the sensation. He thrust into her hand. It was too hot. Too good. He tried to speak but all that came out were broken moans.
The tension unexpectedly shattered with one final thrust. He trembled as Shenhe’s hand stroked him through his first orgasm. He opened his eyes as he felt something coming out of his cock. White fluid spilled out of him, dirtying Shenhe’s hands and his bedsheets. “Sorry.. Sooooorryy.. Sorryyyyy..” he whispered apologies to his Auntie as the remainder of his fuzzy consciousness left him.
Chongyun awoke in his bed the next morning in his night clothes. Something was off. He couldn’t remember any of Shenhe’s training. Had he slept through it all somehow? Panicked, Chongyun stepped out of his room to look for her.
“Good morning, Yun. How are you feeling?” Same greeting as always. Maybe Shenhe wasn’t upset.
“Auntie, I'm so sorry for sleeping through training! I don’t know what came over me.”
“You don’t have to worry. You did an excellent job for your first time.”
“But… I can’t remember anything! I’m so sorry. I must have messed up. Can you please show me again?”
“Yes. You don't have to worry. I have so much more to teach you.”
Chongyun beamed, excited to work with his auntie again. This time he would not let himself forget.
