Chapter Text

It was very sunny in this particular day, as it was most days on South Island, with only a few clouds up and about. Tails had noted this as he flew by, taking in a the beautiful landscape before him.
Despite not having a real destination in mind, Tails did occasionally like to take The Tornado out for a spin because it always made him feel calm and relax. Thinking back, Tails never met the original owner of the plane, and he might not have every know who it belonged to if the thing didn't say 'Sonic' in good letters on the side. He thought about removing them once but decided that it would be disrespectful to do so, after all, it wasn't his plane until he found it resting by some nearby abandoned shack.

But that was a story for another time, for now however, Tails had spent a good while in the air and swiftly checked the time on the plane's panel. 3:38 It read, which meant he was in the air for at least an hour, his first thought was to go home and run an errand, but he remembered he had a favor to do for Amy.

Amy was bright pink hedgehog with a skirt and a hammer if you wanted it oversimplified. Tails had first met her at Little Planet after some trouble with a certain egghead. They became close friends after the years they spent having adventures and protecting the world they loved. Tails relationship with Amy was almost like a sibling bond and it was something that Tails valued.

He set course to the location he was notified she would be at this time of the day, Angel Island.
