Chapter Text
I stumble out of another hole, ungracefully landing on dewdrops and green grass. I pull my face up out of the grass, wiping the water and mud off my face. I look around and see flowers blooming, and almost bright green leaves on trees. What! It’s winter!
I look around shocked at the life surrounding me. I see birds and brightly-coloured butterflies and rabbit-like creatures nibbling on the grass. I look behind me to see what I came out of but it’s nothing. Nothing! How do get back? Do I want to get back? Maybe. No.
“Well if I am stuck here I might as well explore,” I say out loud to myself, making the rabbit things glance at me.
I stand up fully, knees wet from kneeling on the grass- my phone! I have a phone! I pull my cellphone out of my pocket and there is no service. Oh fuck, I couldn’t leave even if I wanted to.
I then realized that there was sweat dripping down my back, oh yeah, I’m wearing winter clothes. I shed the t-shirt and pants I was wearing underneath my heavy winter jacket and pants. I feel the cool air hit my skin and I let out a pleasured sigh, as I go to wipe off my sweat.
Well, I guess I should explore, maybe find a place to-WHERE WILL I SLEEP?
I am not sleeping on that. Not now, not ever. I will find a cabin or a house or even a piece of cloth I can fit on. I will not sleep on the dirty, muddy, wet, disgusting ground! I quickly walk east, set on finding a place to sleep.
I storm out of the clearing, the rabbit-like creatures stepping out of my way, unbothered.
