Chapter Text
11 AM, Faraway Hospital District, 5 months after The Truth.
Hero was writing a note to his friends.
He was planning on inviting them over to his college, now that he's graduated from his first year of medical college.
Dear Kel, Basil, Aubrey and Sunny.
I am excited to announce that I graduated from my first year in college!
And as a token of my appreciation, I wanna invite all of you to visit the college that I am studying at, just to see how was my life there.
Sincerely, Henry Rodriguez.
Once he finished writing that note, He drove to the post office and sent the mail to Kel's address, which was his Home.
After he finished sending his mail, he went back to his apartment and waited.
1:30 PM, Faraway Hospital District.
Kel, Basil, Aubrey and Sunny were near Hero's college, waiting for him to come to meet them, Kel sent a message to Hero's phone, telling him that they were near his college.
A few minutes later, Hero drove by to meet his friends, he parked his car and came out to greet them.
"Hey, Everyone! It's been a while since I saw you all!" Hero exclaimed in happiness, he missed seeing his friends, due to his business in college.
"Hello, Hero! It's good to see you back big brother!" Kel rushed in to give his brother a happy hug, he missed him ever since he went to an apartment for college.
"It's good to see that you're fine Hero!" Aubrey said while grinning happily.
"Hey Hero, I'm glad that you made it past your first year... It's good to see that college isn't being that bad for you." Basil happily told Hero.
Sunny simply waved at Hero, while also giving him a nod in respect, Hero returned the nod to him.
"It's good to see that you guys are fine... for now let me show you all, the college that I am studying in." Hero told everyone as he pointed at the Hospital District, which was easily the largest building in Faraway Town.
Hero began to walk across the street to go to the hospital district, with his friends following behind him... until Sunny began to slow down...
"Uhm Sunny? Why are you slowing down?" Hero asked in concern.
Sunny was looking and feeling Afraid, and then Stressed Out
"...HELP....ME!" was what Sunny said before Sunny began to trip on the road.
"Sunny! Don't worry, I'm coming to help you!" Hero exclaimed, he then ran back to Sunny to grab him, and help him escape the upcoming traffic.
"G-Guys! Look!!!" Basil said in a scared tone as he pointed towards an approaching car.
The car began to approach the friend group and tried to stop, but the car started to drift by itself trying to stop, which only made things worse.
In a panic state, Aubrey needed to act quick and fast, she looked at Kel and yelled.
"KEL!! GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!" Aubrey yelled as she pushed Kel away from the upcoming car, just narrowly saving him from becoming roadkill.
The car ran over Sunny, Hero, Basil and Aubrey Before it stopped upon crashing into the Hospital.
Kel felt HORRIFIED at what he saw.
"Guys? This is all just a dream... right?" Kel tried to ask upon looking at the dead bodies of his friends, hoping that it was all just a dream.
"Guys... please... this isn't funny..." Kel once again tried to reassure himself that it was a dream, a hallucination but to no avail.
"No...NO...NO!...NOOOOOOO!!!" Kel yelled in sadness, before bursting into tears.
Upon hearing the yelling, a Hospital employee came out to see what was happening.
"Ok, what's goi- HENRY!?" the Hospital employee noticed the dead bodies, specifically, the dead body of Hero.
"Oh No, This can't be happening...." The employee immediately got out his phone and called the police and the paramedics.
The employee then looked at the driver in pure hatred, before looking back and seeing Hero's Hospital Card drop out of his pocket, looking battered and slightly bloody, he took the card and kept it with him as a memento.
"Henry... I'm so sorry...." The employee said emotionally before he began to cry.
Kel went back home later that day and locked himself in his room crying, with his neighbours looking at him in sympathy and sadness, especially Cris, He was utterly miserable.
Kel and Hero's Parents were also saddened by the death of Hero and decided that they should give their son free time, while also mourning the death of their eldest son.
End of Prologue.
