“Everyone thinks their shizun’s hot,” was a statement that Luo Binghe had made in front of Yang Yixuan.
He was given a look of disgust.
“What? You mean to tell me that you don’t think Luo Qingge’s hot-” he quickly took back his statement and started gagging.
After he got a hold of himself, he continued speaking. “Oh, I get it. It’s because your shizun’s actually not hot.”
Yang Yixuan was about to defend Liu Qingge’s honor before he was interrupted by an approaching Shang Qinghua who was out of breath by the time he ran over to them.
The two stared at him as he tried to get the air needed to speak.
“Liu Mingyan wants you,” he took in a few more puffs of air, “to help her with something.” He then proceeded to collapse.
They walked over to Luo Binghe and Shen Qingiu’s home once Shang Qinghua got up.
As expected, Liu Mingyan was there. Shang Qinghua explained to the boys that Shen Qingqiu and Liu Qingge had an important event to go to and needed to look nice. Liu Mingyan found some clothes for them and wanted help to decide which one they should wear.
“They’re changing right now,” she informed them. “In the same room .” She emphasized the last part, making sure that Luo Binghe could hear her.
Before anyone could ask why, Shen Qingqiu walked out of the room closest to them. He was wearing an elegant green robe that didn’t look too different from what he normally wears, but his husband was already swooning.
Praises and words like “you are the most beautiful human I have ever laid eyes on,” “you look great,” and “Shizun!” just flew out of his mouth.
Did he even change? Yang Yixuan thought to himself.
The man in the green robes closed his fan and hit his disciple in the head with it. “I thought I told you not to call me that anymore.”
“Shizunnnnnnnnnn-” He cried out before Liu Qingge walked out of another room.
He adorned flowy blue-ish robes that just looked like his normal everyday wear, just a tad bit cleaner. Yang Yixuan thought about what Luo Binghe had said to him just half an hour ago and started shaking his head.
How could he think about his shizun like that?
He didn’t even notice when Liu Qingge walked up to him and put his hand on his forehead.
“You look a bit red. You better not be getting sick.”
Yang Yixuan could only hear the sound of his heartbeat thumping in his head before he passed out onto the floor.
Liu Mingyan was thinking to herself like she usually does.
My plan is going perfectly! Luo Binghe totally got jealous after I told him that his beloved shizun and that third-wheel brother of mine were changing in the same room! Sometimes it’s okay to lie to get your ship to be even more lovey-dovey! And look at him now! He’s clinging onto his husband for dear life! Showering him with compliments! Sorry for using you, Liu Qingge, but I had to sacrifice you for this to work! And-
She heard a thump on the floor and saw that Yang Yixuan had fainted. Seeing her brother only a few steps in front of him, she connected the two dots together to figure out what happened.
She immediately contacted the three Daoist nuns and together they discussed the new couple that would appear in their books.
