Chapter Text
"Fischl, oh Fischl, great lady, awake! And come to me!" Barbara spread her wings and flew over to the flowery bed where the Prinzessin der Verurteilung lie asleep.
"Hello, mein leuchtendes idol of Mondstadt... why have you awoken me from my ladylong slumber...?" The lady sat up gracefully, readjusting her lacy eyepatch.
"The footstools. They've arrived." Barbara's blonde locks swished as she pointed to two young men, laying side by side on the floor, like rocks. One had grayish, long hair whilst the other's was light-ish blonde and choppy.
"How quiet and behaved they are. You sure are mystical with choice, love!" Fischl grazed a gloved hand along the jawline of her lover. As she did, Barbara shifted next to her on the bed, sweeping away some white roses as she did. They almost reminded the Prinzessin of her lady. The white-dressed girl brought the other's face close to hers, so close they could feel each other's breath against their cheeks.
"Mein fraulein?" She smiled, ready to finally resort to the passionate ideal with Fischl.
"Now, liebling.."
She awoke with a start, all of the Angel's Share tavern-goers giving her an odd stare. Seems I dosed off again, Fischl thought. Feeling for her feathered companion at her side, Fischl yelped when he nipped at her finger.
"Are you alright, Mein Fraulein? What was it that you were dreaming about?"
Mondstadt's famous idol/deaconess."How my stand in must be doing back home. I'll see to it that we take a visit soon enough, Oz."
"Mein Fraulein, are you positive it wasn't that... singer, again?"
"Again, you say, what again can there be when there was no first or second to allow the again to proceed, I say!" The adventurer shouted, slamming her hands on the table and earning the peanut gallery's attention once again. Even Master Diluc, manning the bar, was glaring.
Oz cocked his head towards Diluc. "We should be going."
"1000 mora for that wolfhook juice, on the tab, I suppose?" The redhead at his station didn't even look up at the girl and her partner.
"That'll be so. Have a subpar evening."
Subpar?
