Chapter Text

It seems like a long shot, but you had to try. Feeling the wind on your face and the smell of grass reminded you of the times when you had a choice. But you knew that it wouldn’t last very long. The Pillarmen released you in the woods as a part of their little game. You still remember what they told you before this.

-----

“We are releasing you, so to speak.” Kars was looking down at you with a stoic expression, making it hard to figure out if he was lying or not. Nonetheless, you felt a surge of joy within you, slightly expressing this through a small smile. Kars noticed this and gave you a crooked smile. “Our beloved seems to have misunderstood.”

Your face fell flat as you heard this. You knew it was too good to be true, but you had hoped the Pillarmen had loved you enough to set you free. Right?

“I apologize for the deceit, but we are hoping that you will enjoy this.” Wamuu looks at you with pleading eyes, as if he’s begging for you to share his enthusiasm. Though he apologized, he wasn’t sorry in the slightest. Seeing your wary expression, Kars spoke up. “You should know how much we care for you by now. Letting you go is not an option. However, we’ve thought of a game we’d like to play. You like games, don’t you? You always pretend to hate our affections when we all know you thrive in it. We can give you that and so much more.” Your breath hitched; not because he’s wrong, but because he’s more than correct.

Holding you hostage had taken its toll on you. Their acts against humankind had led to their success. The Pillarmen had gained control of the planet, so why were they so fixated on you? You asked yourself this as they locked you up in an underground area located in their headquarters. They’d visit you when they would finish slaughtering innocent lives, covered in blood and guts with a smile on their face just from seeing you.

The Pillarmen were not jealous beings. They were content with seeing you at least once a day. They were aware of the dominance Kars had over the rest of them, therefore you had the company of Kars more than any of the other men. They’d been delicate with you for the past few months (from what you can infer after being underground for so long). The men would treat you like a porcelain doll. You were untouched, but you were more than aware of their strength. They could snap your bones with their fingertips, so you knew better than to physically act out. That didn’t stop you from giving lip, though.

“Why me?” You couldn’t help but ask during one of Esidisi’s visits. His eyes softened as your question flowed through his ears. “We love you. Why else would we go through all this trouble of ensuring your safety?” His reply angered you, making you clench your fists and shed a few tears. You tried to keep your voice calm. “My family was disposed of. My betrothed was disposed of. How can you possibly think I would be content with my new life?” Esidisi chuckled at your response, lovestruck even when seeing you in despair. “We know what is best for you. Let us take care of you.” He said that as if you had a choice. Strangely, his words brought a sense of comfort. You tried to push away the sudden warmth in your core as the room fell silent.

You shook your head in response. Kars sneered at your answer, but Esidisi spoke up regarding their intentions. “Surely, you’ve heard of hide and seek? I am not sure if you know this, but there is a forest nearby.” A forest? Of course not. You’ve been underground. Santana chuckled as if he read your mind, speaking up afterwards. “We want to play with you. Since its nighttime, it will be more challenging. For you, at least. You have five minutes to find a hiding spot. If we do not find you within another five minutes, you will stay untouched. In the case that we do, we will share you.” His explanation made your head tilt in confusion. What do they mean by ‘share you’? They already do that when they visit you. This game wouldn’t make sense had they not shared you already. You began to become apprehensive as Kars smirked in your direction.

“Are you confused by what we mean by sharing you, my dear? Let me explain. Have you noticed how we have not so much as touched you? We made sure to keep you as comfortable as possible. I would hate for our beloved to feel uncomfortable around me. The others would, too. But we have decided that there is no reason for us to hold back anymore. Did you think our love was entirely pure? Did you think that we would not give in to our carnal desires? No, I don’t think you’re that stupid. It’s natural, after all.”

To say you were terrified is an understatement. The Pillarmen looked at you with pure adoration, but you now know that they never had entirely pure intentions. Holding you hostage is far from pure, but they at least tried to take care of you. Now that you had more or less warmed up to them (though you wouldn’t admit it), they easily took that away from you within the span of five seconds.

Kars continued. “We want to feel your body against ours. We want to hear you scream our names. Is that so much to ask? We have been taking care of you for the past year.” Year?! “It’s only fair that we do this. Wouldn’t you want to please us? More importantly, wouldn’t you want us to please you to the best of our abilities? We cannot wait to hear you as we do so.”

The Pillarmen’s eyes lit up with a passion that you’ve never seen before. The warmth in your core was obstructed by the fear in your head. Shaking, you replied. “I have never done this before! I was waiting until I married my partner! Please don’t take this away from me!” You noticed tears falling after you pleaded. If there was one thing you wanted to keep, it was your purity. Your response had the opposite effect as it only seemed to rile them up.

“That is more of a reason to do this. We want to be as close to you as possible. And what better way to do so than to be your first? We do not want to hurt you, but we have been very patient. We know that you will enjoy this as much as we will.” Wamuu tried to reassure you to no avail. You took a few steps back, leaving the entrance of the forest and walking into it. You ran as fast as you could, and you felt their stares burning through you. You keep telling yourself that this is the longest dream you’ve ever had. But you keep waking up to this.

-----

You don’t know how long it’s been since you’ve started running. The number of small cuts and bruises from the branches keep increasing as your feet move. All you see is trees. This was on purpose. Of course, they’d put you in a forest with subpar hiding spots. But you had to try. This shouldn’t deter you from buying you more time from their grasp. You eventually find a spot: a row of trees covering a cluster of boulders. Climbing over the boulders was no easy feat, but you managed to find a spacious, yet covert area within the cluster. You tried to steady your breathing as much as you could. The last thing you want is to have the Pillarmen find you and take advantage of you. Meanwhile, you got caught up in your thoughts. Had they not listened when you solemnly spoke of your family? Of your friends? Of your partner with whom you planned to spend the rest of your life with?

It seems like an eternity has passed when you start hearing some shuffling amongst the leaves near you. Your heart beats faster and faster as the shuffling gets closer. The leaves crunching beneath someone’s feet does nothing to soothe you. The smell of tree bark and soil do nothing to calm you down. As soon as you hear the leaves crunch nearly right behind you, the sound disappears out of thin air. Your ragged breathing begins to even out. You don’t know how long it’s been. Your sense of time is warped. The five minutes could have been done in what would be thirty seconds for you. The minute that may have passed would have been ten minutes for you. These thoughts ran through your mind in pitch silence. It was too quiet. The wind on your face is gone. Every stimulation of your senses has ceased.

“Hello, dearest.”

Your heart stopped as you heard Kars’ sensual voice, brimming with barely contained excitement. Tears start falling out as he places his hands on you, running them over the curves of your body. He inhales your scent overzealously as if he were a predator that caught his prey. The familiar warmth in your core had started to burn through you. You fought to ignore it as you shakily whispered. “How long did it take?” Kars licked a stripe up your neck and lowly groaned before replying. “About 3 minutes. How are you feeling?”

You felt his smirk against your neck when he began to pepper you with kisses, nipping along your jawline as he pulled your head to the side. “I don’t know… What will you do to me?” Kars groans once again at your question, becoming more and more eager to deflower you. How long had he waited to hold you like this? To have you in his grasp. You were so small compared to him. So delicate, so soft. At least to him since he was the complete opposite. He couldn’t take it anymore. He needed more of you. He picked you up bridal style to take you back to their headquarters. You struggled in his iron grip, but you eventually relented.

“Why haven’t you answered me? You’re scaring me…” You began to get frustrated at Kars’ silence. He stares ahead as he carries you to his destination. To calm yourself down, you observed your surroundings. It’s been so long since you’ve seen the rich green from leaves. The anthill you almost stepped on while running reminded you that one’s life is precious. The moss growing on the tree trunks are a vivid green that you never want to live without seeing again. Seeing squirrels scurry around the trees brings a smile to your face. Being lost in your thoughts, you didn’t notice when you and Kars arrived at their headquarters. Nothing has changed since the last time you were outside. The brickhouse was much larger than any home you’ve ever seen. The entrance of the building consisted of stark white pillars holding up the front porch. The door was large and wooden; it looked extremely heavy and thick, making it difficult for an ordinary person to enter and exit. After walking up the steps, Kars delicately placed you on the floor of the front porch.

“Dearest, the rest of them are waiting inside. Unfortunately, you cannot see the interior of the house. I have to blindfold you before entering. You understand, don’t you?”

Kars uses a satin strip to blindfold you, not wanting to give you an opportunity to escape by committing the building’s interior to memory. You froze to not anger the Pillarmen, though the urge to scream and run was strong. You wanted to kick him in the shins with all your might. It wouldn’t have done anything, but it would’ve made you feel better to some degree. You couldn’t see that Kars was genuinely smiling due to your submission. You gave no snarky comments, nor did you grimace in his direction. The warmth in his chest has him slightly trembling. However, he did not want to lose his composure just yet. After tying the knot behind your head, he turned his attention to the door.

He knocked on the door five times in a certain rhythm, carrying you once more after doing so. The rest of the Pillarmen seemed to be waiting for Kars’ arrival since they opened the large wooden door almost immediately. The warmth emanating from Kars’ body as he held you began to comfort you from the off-putting energy within the building. The Pillarmen walk along with you for a while; you start thinking they did all this to scare you. They wouldn’t do this, would they? They’ve been so patient. Maybe they really were pent up, but you didn’t think this was possible for them. The Pillarmen have been so concentrated on combat and victory. They practically had the world in their hands, so what more could they want?

You finally heard one of them open a door just as heavy as the front door. The door was closed, and you heard a lock. You were placed on the floor and had the blindfold carefully removed. The sight before you was something to behold. The room was massive, with a deep crimson color covering the walls and ceiling; the floor consisted of hardwood. The large, intricate chandelier in the middle of the room illuminated the entire space. The room only had a chair in the corner of the room, a bed, and two wooden nightstands on either side of it. The bed, covered in deep crimson sheets, was extremely spacious. It had more than enough space for the five of you. Looking at the bed filled you with a bone-deep terror. It made you realize what predicament you were stuck in. With this in mind, you decide to make a run for the heavy wooden door behind you. Almost as if he read your mind, Santana grabbed you by your waist and made his way to the bed with you. You couldn’t take it anymore.
