Chapter Text
Jungkook honestly didn't know what his best friend and her boyfriend were thinking when they both arranged him a blind date with a person Jungkook didn't have to take two seconds to look at them to know this date thing? wouldn't work out. He does not judge people just by looking at them — alright, sometimes he does, everyone does it.
But no, that wasn't the point that night.
He was aware of the details around the whole blind date, Chanmin made sure to tell him who exactly Park Jimin was.
“He’s Eunho’s best friend. I know it sounds like you two have absolutely nothing in common—”
“You're right. We have nothing in common. He’s a young editor-chief at Kayo and also a TA studying to become a university professor while I'm a broken tattoo artist. What a lovely and interesting couple.”
“...But Jimin is really nice and he's your type. Maybe it can work out...or maybe it can't. You'd at least have a good fuck. I'm telling you, he's hot.”
“You want us to work out so you and Eunho can have a double date, right?”
“Yeah...”
And well, Jungkook is familiar with Eunho. And judging by the man's profile, — an almost-to-be literature teacher too, always showing a clean image of himself, refined and elegant — his best friend would end up being someone like that too.
Do not get Jungkook wrong. Eunho is a nice guy.
He really likes him, and the man is surely a good boyfriend to Chanmin — at first glance, they didn't seem to have absolutely nothing in common, but Jungkook had never seen people more fitting for each other — however, Jungkook had a feeling that this date wouldn't be nice and he wouldn't thank Chanmin at the end of the night like she had said to him hours earlier.
Jungkook was right, of course. And he wanted to murder his best friend for that.
Maybe Chanmin was right about the man being totally his type — his features, at least.
Oh yeah, she was right.
Park Jimin is easily, without any effort at all, one of the most handsome and attractive men Jungkook has ever seen. A sharp jawline, pretty plump pair of lips, cat-like eyes, black hair parted to expose thick and expressive eyebrows, long legs and his shoulder to waist ratio? The guy turned heads. He was a walking wet dream and for a few minutes before they both had sat down on the table and chatted — argued —, Jungkook had wondered why Chanmin had not introduced them before. However, it didn't last long. He quickly ignored Jimin was too handsome when he had noticed the way the man shifted his gaze to Jungkook's uncovered arm and diverted away to look at the menu, a dry smile on his lips.
Of course, Jungkook didn't think twice and pulled his long sleeve down to cover his tattooed arm, tongue heavy on his mouth.
Had Chanmin and Eunho not told him Jungkook was a tattoo artist?
Didn't Jimin know that his best friend's girlfriend was also a tattoo artist?
He didn't want to jump straight into conclusions and judge Jimin (again), of course.
Perhaps he wasn't uncomfortable with Jungkook's tattoos and Jungkook himself was just seeing things. But of course, when it comes to his job, judgemental eyes from people are really frequent and Jimin was indeed bothered by his tattoos.
“So, what do you do for a living?” Jungkook had asked gently, even when he knew Jimin's profession already, just to make conversation and not sit there awkwardly waiting for their food to arrive since they obviously weren't comfortable with each other's presence. And Jimin's reply had sounded too sharp and rude in his ears, a sarcastic smile tugged on the man's lips.
"I'm pretty sure your friend told you about me already.”
The way he carried himself; nose and chin held high, legs crossed, fingers interlaced on top of his thigh, — his fancy clothes, shiny Rolex on his wrist and glasses sitting prettily on the bridge of his nose... Everything. It made Jungkook feel awfully small and almost dirty next to him. There was an uncomfortable and unsettling feeling of superiority emanating from Jimin that had left Jungkook shifting in his seat, skin pricking.
He had ignored the tone in the man's voice for the sake of his best friend and also because Jungkook’s a kind-hearted and nice person — most of the time. “Um, yeah, she told me. But…I'd like to hear it from you,” he then answered, trying really hard to not blush in embarrassment when Jimin didn't return the smile and only sighed out like, like he was already tired of listening to Jungkook's voice.
“Well, I'm a TA to one of the most respected professors of Japanese literature of the country that gives his lectures at one of the most prestigious universities in Korea. I'm almost finished with my licentiate to become a professor as well," Jimin bragged about his academic resume for a few minutes, pausing only to sip on his water before continuing, "and well, I believe you know Kayo, a big book publishing company—”
Jungkook hadn't let him finish and just shook his head, a tight smile on his lips, tapping his fingers on the table in a gesture of please get me out of here before I punch this snobby motherfucker—
He obviously knew about Kayo, who didn't?
However, the way Jimin had arrogantly started talking about his professional life annoyed Jungkook to the point he had to control himself really hard to not roll his eyes, and it brought him a bit of satisfaction at how Jimin widened his eyes briefly and clicked his tongue when Jungkook shook his head, chuckling humourlessly after. The man had probably thought Jungkook was just an uncultured person that hated books and probably didn't know how to read correctly.
(Chanmin did laugh at this when Jungkook told her about it, and quickly apologised for setting them up together.)
No matter how many times she and even Eunho had apologised to him in the past years, Jungkook is still skeptical about them claiming they had no idea that this date would be this awful until this day. They probably did know it would end the way it did and they only arranged the date to laugh off Jungkook's face after.
Alright, returning to the story of Jungkook’s absolutely worst date ever, he lost his entire composure when Jimin had directly judged his career.
“Do you…really think it's advantageous to live off from tattooing...people when society is clearly against it?” It could have been an honest question and probably something Jimin had always been curious about, however, Jungkook knew it wasn't the case, because the man was clearly judging him by the way he had furrowed his forehead, and bit back a chuckle after his question, like Jungkook was crazy and absolutely dumb for having chosen this career.
“Excuse me?" Jungkook was left so astonished from the question that he had genuinely asked, hoping Jimin didn't mean what he had said the way he said it. He didn't seem to notice Jungkook was bothered and uncomfortable by the question — or maybe he did notice and didn't care, using this chance to show how much superior he was than Jungkook — and had just leaned forward with all the elegance of the world to prop his elbows on the table and tuck his black hair behind his ear, resting his chin on his palm.
He had rephrased his question, but it didn't make it any better — it got worse actually, and everything went downhill from that.
Jungkook's night ended with every single person inside the restaurant looking uncomfortable at the scene while Jimin and him raised their voices louder and louder, insulting each other and throwing their napkins on the table and leaving the restaurant scoffing. It didn’t fit the man's image in any way and even after spending only torturous twenty minutes with the man to know exactly what type he was — rich and snob — he wasn't expecting a middle finger and a big fuck you from him.
“Very mature of you, TA to one of the most prestigious universities from this country!” Jungkook had mocked him in a very non mature way either, opening the door of his car while Jimin only scoffed and got inside his, leaving Jungkook to sulk alone in front of the restaurant.
For a few tiny seconds that night, he had selfishly wished for Chanmin and Eunho to break up eventually so he and Jimin wouldn't ever cross paths again. Jungkook got so surprised at himself for ever thinking about something dark and selfish like that and quickly pushed the thought aside, driving his car back home so he could scream at Chanmin — maybe murder her for setting him up the worst date ever.
He totally believes in karma and it was due to the fact he wished — even if it was for one tiny second — all those years ago for Chanmin and Eunho to break up, that the couple’s relationship just got more serious. It worked out so well for both of them that here is Jungkook today, on their wedding four years later. Clapping his hands and whistling louder than everyone else as Chanmin and Eunho kissed, sealing their vows.
And of course, Park Jimin is still Eunho’s best friend — why wouldn't he still be? and oh, he's a professor now — and he is attending the wedding too.
In fact, he is standing right in front of Jungkook on the first row of benches.
Jimin didn't get to be Eunho’s best man and neither Jungkook, because their friend has too many brothers and his mother would be angry at him if he hadn't chosen all of them to fill the spots. Of course, Jungkook has no hard feelings for Eunho’s choice.
And he has nothing to complain about as he got to walk down the aisle with Chanmin. It was a very special and emotional moment for not only Chanmin, but for him as well. His best friend had lost both her parents at such a young age and the fact she had chosen Jungkook to walk beside her on the happiest day of her life is something Jungkook will be very grateful for.
A happy special memory he'll hold closely to his heart.
Jimin didn't seem bothered by the fact he got cut out too, but, yeah, Jungkook likes to think the man is in fact pretty bothered by it and he complained about it to Eunho in that pretty smoothly annoying voice of his, tucking his oh, soft and shiny silver hair—
“It's very unsophisticated and a bit out of place to clap hands and whistle on a wedding, don't you think?” Speaking of the devil, Jimin blurts out in a judgemental sweet annoying voice, punctuating his last words with a spam above his eyebrows, his eyes focused on Chanmin and Eunho smiling softly at each other but his attention entirely on Jungkook, who stopped clapping to grit his teeth, counting to five in his mind to control himself.
The man continues just for the sake of annoying the hell out of Jungkook, and also because Jungkook knows Jimin has an obsession in showing he's superior than him in any way possible, “This is not a football match...you do know that, right?” he says the last part like he's explaining something obvious to a child and shifts his gaze to look up and down at Jungkook in a very judging way, running his hands elegantly through his perfectly styled hair. He averts his eyes and opens a true and warming smile on his lips when Chanmin and Eunho start to walk towards the exit.
(Jungkook is pretty sure now, after years, Jimin has something exclusively against him. Because the man only does that to him. The way he treats Chanmin, Taehyung — two tattoo artists — and everyone else like he's the kindest person that walked on earth is so different from the way he always scoffs and smiles cynically to Jungkook.)
Exhaling through gritted teeth, Jungkook holds both his hands out and claps in front of Jimin's face purposefully loud, almost touching his nose. An annoyed Jimin stumbles back, moving away from his lousy clappings, cursing under his breath and giving Jungkook an ugly glare, lips pursed in disgust as he readjusts the jacket of his fancy Giorgio Armani tuxedo.
“You're so—” he doesn't get to finish since Jungkook coos intentionally loud to shut him up when Chanmin and Eunho get closer to them on the aisle.
He opens his arms to hug his best friend tightly, congratulating her as he whispers in her ear, "I love you so much and I'm so happy for you, but please, I'm seriously gonna murder him."
{...}
Chanmin and Eunho's wedding party is surprisingly not boring just like other wedding parties. The venue and the whole decoration is beautiful, outstanding — Jungkook already had an idea what it'd look like as he's the one that helped Chanmin with literally everything, every single detail. The food and appetisers were delicious, on point. Food Jungkook wouldn't ever eat if it was not on occasions like this.
And God.
The champagne. Real and expensive champagne being served every ten seconds like it's water.
Jungkook is having a pretty good night so far — his stomach already filled with expensive food and free champagne as he chats here and there, having a good time since he knows half of the guests (Chanmin's side). He totally ignores the other half that occasionally throws disgusting glances at his new tattoos on both his hands though — the only ink exposed on his body due the tuxedo he's wearing — and also at other tattoo artists friends of Jungkook and Chanmin that are attending the party, because he's really interested on the flirty glances he's getting from a very hot guy by the bar.
He's currently dancing with Chanmin on the dance floor along with a few guests to a very agitated pop song, moving funny to rip off giggles from his best friend. He's caught the flirty eyes ranking his body shamelessly up and down a few minutes ago and a well known hot sensation has already settled up through his entire body.
Leaning down next to Chanmin's ear to talk over the loud music, he holds her hand in a dance movement to turn them around, his back to the bar so she can see the man. "Would you get mad at me if I ditched you for an hour to get that guy that's checking me out like I'm naked?"
Chanmin widens her eyes comically and immediately searches around the bar in a very non discrete way, laughing out after. "Are you kidding me? I'm having the time of my life here!" she demonstrates by opening her arms wide — champagne spilling a bit from her glass — and turning around herself, clapping loudly on Jungkook's face. "Go get him, baby!"
He laughs. The woman is a little bit drunk already. Chanmin huffs when Jungkook holds her by the face, giving her a very lousy wet kiss on the cheek. "Love you", before turning away. He doesn’t make it far though, because the woman is pulling him by the wrist.
"Wait, wait! Which one? There's a lot of guys in the bar," she squints her eyes and Jungkook blushes at his not even trying to be subtle, complaining under his breath. "I can't see anything... am I that drunk already, Jungkookie?"
He chuckles, shaking his head, "The one that's drinking Martinis and yes, baby, you're kinda drunk," pulling her gently by the arm and walking to the other side of the dance floor where Eunho is dancing with his brothers.
"Oh. Uh, that’s Jaehyuk. He's really hot. He's a new guy from my job. I invited almost everyone from my office since I'm friends with, well, everyone, so I thought it'd be awkward and rude if I didn't invite him so—Hey, handsome," Chanmin forgets entirely what she was saying when they get closer to her husband, her arms wrapping around his neck to kiss his lips with a hum. Jungkook taps the man's on the shoulder that only laughs and nods at him, holding his drunken wife by the waist. He sends a flying kiss at Chanmin that sends back another one and finally turns away, walking to the pretty man that had already finished his drink. His eyes are still locked on Jungkook's — precisely on the skin of Jungkook's chest that is peeking out from the white dress shirt he had unbuttoned three buttons before.
He feels his skin burning in a pleasant way, a delicious tug in the pit of his stomach.
Before long, he has the pretty man pressed against the wall of the elevator, one hand gripping his waist while the other holds him by the hairs on his nape, mouth leaving a path of wet kisses on the expansion of the man's neck, teeth grazing the skin. Both of them are so invested into each other, breathy moans released on the tight small box, that they don't hear the elevator doors opening. Jungkook pulls away from Jaehyuk's neck only when he hears that voice coming from the door, and he curses internally, because, of course, Jimin is there.
Of course.
"Oh, really? Gross. How old are you? This is your best friend's wedding, have a bit of composure."
Jungkook thinks God must really hate him.
Sighing out loud with absolute disregard, he clenches his fists to tamper down the vexation that threatens to escape his mouth. "Ignore him," is what he murmurs against Jaehyuk’s mouth, pulling the pretty man by the hand to walk to his hotel room.
Jimin chuckles behind him.
"Are you serious? Does Chanmin know you're up here taking people to your room to have sex when her wedding party is happening down there?"
Jungkook's body thrums with annoyance at Jimin's accusing and arrogant voice. He counts to three mentally, biting his lip forcefully, willing himself to ignore the older while he looks for the key card inside his jacket. Jaehyuk seems already uncomfortable by his side, looking from Jungkook to Jimin alternatively. The minx continues, chuckling and clicking his tongue as he speaks more about Jungkook being disrespectful towards Chanmin's celebration, not giving up to get a word out of his mouth.
"Yeah, she does know I'm here. Now, back off," out of patience, Jungkook speaks through clenched teeth, opening the door to his room and tugging a quiet Jaehyuk behind him. Jimin narrows his eyes, not moving away from the entrance of the elevator that by now, had already left from their level to the lobby. He crosses his arms, expensive party shoes tapping once on the floor, eyes on Jaehyuk walking inside the room.
"Hey, you, look—" Jimin raises his voice to call out, making Jaehyuk turn around. "I wouldn't go inside that room if I were you. Did you notice he has tattoos?" he points to one of Jungkook's tattooed hand interlaced with Jaehyuk's, "I heard he got STDs from that one on his hand..." whispering the last part like is a secret, palm curving on the corner of his mouth.
It's safe to say Jungkook completely freezes, widening his eyes, shock written all over his face.
What?!
He feels Jaehyuk pulling his hand away from his immediately, posture changing drastically as fear clouds his features, lips parted as he steps back from the room.
"What— What! No, hey—" Jungkook steps on the hallway, looking from Jaehyuk to Jimin, taking a second to recover himself. "What the hell are y—This is not true! What's your fucking problem?"
Jimin just clicks his tongue, calling the elevator as Jaehyuk walks further from Jungkook, not even looking him in the eye. The tattoo artist just opens and closes his mouth repeatedly, speechless at the situation. "Hey, Jaehy—That is not true... "
He snaps out of his shock instantly, sprinting towards Jimin with fires of hell smouldering in his eyes, pulling the man by the wrist when he steps into the elevator, the doors closing and taking Jaehyuk only to the lobby, leaving Jimin and him alone in the hallway.
"What the hell was that?! Are you crazy?!"
Jimin complains under his breath at the hold Jungkook keeps on his wrist, his hand messing the fabric of his expensive tuxedo jacket. He manages to yank his arm away after, his nose held high as he stares at a fulminating Jungkook right in front of him. The man speaks between his teeth.
"That was for you shouting you know exactly what for the entire airplane to hear two days ago."
For coincidence or maybe because God truly hates him, his and Jimin's seats were side by side on the plane. Chanmin wanted to get married specifically in Japan — only God knows why — so she, obviously, forced every guest to travel to the country for the wedding.
"I never travel by economic class and when I unfortunately have to, they put my seat next to you. Decadent."
"You're so unbearable."
Jungkook had to endure a long two hours flight next to a very annoying Jimin that enjoys listening to music on airpods blasting on the last volume, making it impossible to close eyes and relax into the seat. So, he, gently — maybe not so gentle — took one airpod off Jimin's ear himself and told him to lower the fucking volume down, resulting into the two of them bickering for a few minutes before Jungkook raised his voice purposefully loud.
"No, Jimin! I already told you. I do not wanna have sex with you in the bathroom," which of course embarrassed Jimin to the point the man's face got red, eyes widened comically.
"This is not the same situation!" Jungkook spits out, observing Jimin's handsome face pulling a sarcastic expression. He wants to close his hands around the man’s neck and kill him.
Jimin only tilts his head to the side, pouty lips jutting a little as he says sweetly. "Oh, I think it is."
Jungkook trembles, closing his fists tightly, irritation and indignation running in his veins.
"And besides, you should be thanking me, that guy wasn't that— Mph—"
He doesn't think through.
He just does it.
In a bold movement, Jungkook shuts Jimin's annoying smooth voice and decides to take all his anger by pushing the man on the wall and pressing their lips together, hard. He doesn't have time to appreciate how fucking soft Jimin's lips are against his nor how the man immediately reacts to the kiss, hands already clutching Jungkook's hair.
He doesn't even stop to think he's kissing Jimin. He's just angry, pissed, wanting to just pull Jimin's ridiculously expensive branded pants down and take him right there in the middle of hallway, making him moan instead of talking shit to mess with Jungkook’s life. It’s absolutely insane how fast Jimin can get on his nerves, taking it only a few pretentious words out of his annoying mouth to make Jungkook see red.
Jaehyuk was really hot. Like, out of a 10/10? He’s a 100/10 hot. How long has it been since Jungkook last fucked someone that hot?
Fuck. He fucking hates Jimin. The man is going to pay him for that.
The same man is currently moaning into the bruising kiss, shuddering under his hands when Jungkook sucks on his tongue, palm locked on his jaw. Jungkook breaks it to say, "You made him leave, now you're gonna replace him," and Jimin only laughs.
He fucking laughs, slick-swollen lips brushing against Jungkook's. "You crazy if you think I'm gonna let you fuck—Ahh!"
Jungkook snaps, sliding a thigh in the middle of Jimin's legs, pressing on the bulge present there. He chuckles, a devilish smirk tugging at his lips, pulling Jimin's hair to make him raise his chin to the ceiling, mouth pressed to his ear, "You already have a semi just by getting kissed by me... Decadent."
It's satisfactory to feel Jimin shivering under his lips, the man's skin burning in shame for being caught.
He presses his thigh more into Jimin’s crotch, enjoying the airy mewls he gets out of the professor’s mouth. "So, what were you saying? Am I crazy for thinking you're gonna let me fuck you? Hm?"
Jimin's eyes flutter shut when Jungkook bites his bottom lip, sucking the flesh painfully before pressing their lips together again and shoving his tongue inside. He chuckles into the kiss when he feels Jimin starting to grind on his thigh, both hands holding onto his tie while he lets himself get kissed, releasing sighs at each curl of their tongues. Jungkook asks again, because he's not an asshole and he needs Jimin's consent even though they're just kissing.
And Jimin answers him by taking both Jungkook's hands and putting them on his ass as he gets closer, grinding down harder on his thigh. Jungkook is sure Jimin will never voice out exactly the words he was expecting to hear out of stupid pride.
{...}
"Hey! This is Giorgio Armani, be caref—" Jungkook doesn't give a shit and just rips the white dress shirt off from Jimin's torso, buttons flying everywhere around the carpet of his hotel room. Jimin gasps, a complaint making its way out of his throat when Jungkook whispers against his parted lips first, "I don't fucking care," before turning the man around and pressing him on the glass balcony window, his chest pressed against Jimin's shirtless back.
Jimin moans pliantly at that, shivering when Jungkook mouths at his neck, kissing the skin as his hands travel down his navel. Jungkook traces a finger around one nipple, pressing down on the bud after, making the man push his ass against his crotch in a needy way.
Still in his tuxedo, Jungkook’s pants tighten quickly at each breathy ah he gets out of Jimin’s mouth and in a blink of an eye, he has a naked Jimin in front of him, hands holding himself on the glass windows while he tosses his head back, hips moving shamelessly against Jungkook's tongue and fingers working inside him.
Jungkook hums appreciatively at the position he’s in at the moment, which never in a million years he thought he'd be some day — face buried between Park Jimin's glorious ass. Slapping those ass cheeks hard, he grips his waist in a tight hold to make him stop moving. No matter how much he's enjoying watching Jimin acting surprisingly like a little slut and turning into putty under his hands, he's in charge right now, and also fucking angry.
Jimin will take what Jungkook gives to him.
That spurs Jungkook to stand on his feet and loosen the knot in his tie, taking it off his neck and placing it on Jimin's mouth, tying on the back of his head. Jimin moans against the gag. Jungkook then lowers his hand at the same time he dips his head down to start sucking on Jimin’s shoulder, taking a hold of his dripping cock, giving a few teasing tugs to make the man whine, appreciating how thick Jimin feels in his palm.
"Are you going to be a good slut for me, Jimin?"
He whispers in Jimin's ear while unzipping his own pants, taking his cock out from its confinement, letting it poke on the man's back. Jimin reacts at that by pushing his ass harder, eyes falling shut at the hand working around his cock in a loose hold. Jungkook is out of patience already, wanting to fuck the days out of Jimin. He speaks in a firm voice, squeezing Jimin’s cock on his hand. "I want you to nod."
Jimin gulps down thickly and his face hardens, jaw muscles flexing. He's probably annoyed at Jungkook's tone and teasing. The man has such pride when it comes to answering Jungkook even when he's pushing his ass needy on Jungkook's cock. Jimin's next moan gets muffled by the tie inside his mouth when Jungkook slaps his inner thigh and pulls his hair hard, cock slotting between his lubed cheeks.
"So? Do I need to go down the lobby and find another man to be my slut?” he teases, lips pressed against Jimin’s ear, hot breath hitting the man’s skin. He feels the man shivering and can't help but smirk mischievously. “Hm, Jimin?" he noses his way down Jimin’s sharp jawline, lips ghosting there for a moment before reaching his ear again to take the lobe between his teeth, thumb spreading pre-cum around the tip of his cock.
Jimin whines so prettily, his tone needy as he shakes his head, perfectly styled silver hair that's now messy moving along, bangs falling over his eyes.
"No?” Jungkook chuckles, voice low. “So you're going to be a good slut for me then?" he waits for a confirmation from Jimin while lubing his cock and putting on a condom, sighing in relief at finally being able to touch himself. Hooking an arm under Jimin's leg, he hitches it up to make the slide easier, feeling Jimin completely melting against his body. He uses his other hand to guide his length to the twitching entrance that's clenching around nothing, desperate to be filled.
The man takes five long seconds to push his pride aside and nod, letting his head rest on Jungkook’s shoulder again, dark sultry eyes finding his before shutting them close and moaning around the tie when Jungkook starts to push in. No matter how pissed he's at Jimin right now, he wouldn't ever hurt the man by not letting him adjust to his girth.
Jungkook holds his breath until he bottoms out, his cock hugged deliciously around Jimin’s hot walls. Shit, shit, shit. He’s so fucking tight.
He controls himself to not fuck into the man until he's feeling Jimin pushing against him, trying to make him move.
Jungkook doesn’t lose a second at that, one palm curled around the hitched leg of Jimin and other gripping his waist hard as he starts fucking him in a brutal space already, almost knocking Jimin’s face on the glass windows. “Fuck...so tight,” it escapes his mouth as he lets the man’s leg down for a moment to press a palm on his sweaty back and grope Jimin’s ass with his free hand, pushing a cheek to the side to watch his cock being engulfed deliciously by the man's puffy hole.
He delivers a slap on that ass, bottom lip held between his teeth. Jimin jolts, moaning around the tie, both hands pressed on the window to hold himself. Jungkook curses when he catches the fucked up expression on Jimin’s face through the reflection of the glass windows, his cheeks flushed and hair a fucking mess. Jimin melws so high pitched when Jungkook pulls his hips up by the grip on his waist, forcing him stay on his toes as the angle changes, cock hitting deeper inside him.
Jungkook locks his eyes with the man's through the reflection, mouth close to his ear, “It feels good? This is what you wanted, right? You only said that to make Jaehyuk go away because you wanted to swap places with him. Slut.”
Jimin eyes fall shut at the word and mostly at the intense glare, hands holding onto Jungkook’s arms holding his waist as he throws his body back on the chest behind him, hips fucking back onto Jungkook's cock.
“You’ve always wanted to get fucked by my cock, am I right, Jimin? Pissing the shit out of me all these years... Just to get my cock up your ass,” Jungkook says without a filter, not thinking through his words, overwhelmed and blind by the tightening grip around his length. He notices how Jimin works his hips harder and his moans get louder against the tie around his mouth, encouraged by the dirty words.
Pulling his cock out for a moment to conduct Jimin towards the bed — earning a mix of angry and pained groan from the man for having stopped — he bends Jimin down on the mattress and before sliding back inside him again, taking leverage by holding the man by the shoulders to push him back and fuck into him hard.
The sounds of skin slapping along with Jimin’s keens raise shivers up his spine, his release almost there.
Jimin desperately clutches onto the fabric of Jungkook’s sheets, needing something to ground himself as his orgasm builds, the tie somehow loosening around his head, falling under his chin.
“Jung—close, close…”
“Gonna cum?” Jungkook pulls him up, back pressed against his chest, two fingers pushing inside his mouth, making him gag a little. Jimin nods fervently, sucking around the digits eagerly as Jungkook slows the movements of his hips, but not losing the force. He fucks into the man slow and deep, each thrust hitting Jimin’s inside with such force he sobs, hand reaching in front of him to take his cock and get his release. Jungkook beats him to it, catching both Jimin’s wrists in one hand and pulling them behind his back, restraining him.
“Don’t even think about it. You’re gonna cum from my cock alone.”
Jimin lets out a mix of a whine and groan, chin pointing to the ceiling due to the hold Jungkook has on his arms, pulling it towards the bed, making him arch a bit. “It’s s—so hard to do th—”
Jungkook chuckles darkly. “Hard, but not impossible,” speeding up his thrusts again, himself feeling his orgasm close, his balls tightening almost painfully.
“I—I can’t, Jungkook. l need to touch mys—”
“Yes, you can. Isn’t this what you wanted? My cock?” Jungkook himself is equally out of breath as he continues pounding into Jimin hard, tongue lavishing his shoulder before his teeth are biting the skin hard. “Then take it. Cum from it alone."
Jimin doesn't beg. He only moans louder as he rests his head on Jungkook’s shoulder behind him, semi—closed eyes, fogged with pleasure, looking at him, maybe as if a way to implore quietly for Jungkook to stroke his cock, to give him his release. Jungkook can't resist leaning forward to brush their mouths together, completely enamoured by that gorgeous pair of lips. He whispers lowly, only for Jimin to hear under the loud sounds of skin slapping. “Go on, cum for me, professor. Cum, you slut.”
It’s all it takes for Jimin to grit his teeth and let out a painful moan after, stomach coiling non-stop, electric shocks of pleasure hitting all the way up his spine, making him roll his eyes from the intense orgasm. White strings of cum spurts from his cock, making a mess on the sheets of Jungkook’s bed before Jimin is collapsing on top of it after, his jelly arms not being able to hold him up as Jungkook hovers over his back and chases his own orgasm like a mad man.
Jungkook cums not even a minute after, spilling inside the condom, letting himself take a couple of breaths before rolling on the bed next to Jimin, face up to the ceiling, chest moving quickly up and down.
Shit.
He turns to check Jimin, the man equally out of breath has his eyes closed and fingers clutching the sheets next to his cheek. Jungkook blinks, hand moving on automatic to pull his tie softly from Jimin's face, consequently making the man open his eyes at the sudden touch. They stare at each other for a moment in silence, the expression on Jimin's face unreadable to Jungkook. They continue to just stare at each other until Jungkook's phone rings inside his pocket.
He exhales out loud, his tuxedo glued to his body disgustingly due to all the sweating. He had only took off his jacket before fucking Jimin. He needs a shower urgently.
And also a moment to himself to think through what the hell just happened.
Taking his phone out of his front pocket, Jungkook sees three new messages from Chanmin.
Chan:
He5y Kook it's CAKE time
We're cutting in 10 hurry upp ppp
Jaehyuk is already here where are youuuu
He reads the message out loud, getting a groan from Jimin that quickly sits up on the bed, grimacing at the cum glued to his stomach before cleaning it with Jungkook's sheet.
"Hey!"
The man only raises a brow at him, impatience present on his face, "It's already dirty," saying the obvious. It doesn't stop Jungkook from rolling his eyes nevertheless. He gets up, legs aching a bit as he unbuttons his white dress shirt, whispering in a tired voice. "Just... Get dressed and go. I need to shower first."
Jimin seems to have suddenly remembered something after he hurries up and stands from the bed, looking frantically around the room as he dresses to his boxers, hands brushing his face furious. His voice mes loud and angry. "My shirt—How am I gonna get dressed if you ripped my shirt?!"
Jungkook faces him from the bathroom door after he discards the condom in the trash bin, leaned against the threshold.
Yeah, right. He forgot about that.
"I—fuck, wait," kneeling next to his briefcase, he searches for another dress shirt inside his bag he's sure he had packed and throws it on Jimin's chest when he finds. "There. Get out."
Jimin only raises it in front of his face, holding the fabric between his thumb and index finger, judging the piece of clothing like it's poisoned or something. He scoffs, browns raised, "This?!"
Annoyance curls at the pit of Jungkook's stomach, making him rolls his eyes at Jimin's tone. He mocks him, tongue clicking, "No, that."
He sees Jimin's about to throw a fit, teeth gritting painfully as he closes his fists. The man is still wearing only his boxers and the sight of his toned chest, abs and thighs makes Jungkook's dick twitch again.
Well, shit. He's so fucked.
"My shirt was Armani, which I strongly believe you have no idea how much it costs since you wouldn't ever have the money to afford one and also because you just ripped it without thinking twice!"
"Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you had enjoyed that since you were moaning really loud when I was giving you dick not even five minutes ago!" Jungkook sarcastically retorts, both hands pressed together as he bows a little, faking his apologies. Jimin throws the shirt on the bed and marches towards him with heavy steps, fist ready to punch him in the face. Jungkook only has time to yelp before he's hurrying inside the bathroom, closing the door fast and locking it after.
He guesses Jimin kicks the door because it trembles with such force he worries for a moment it's gonna break. He laughs a little, staying in silence for a moment to hear Jimin passing around the room, cursing him under his breath before leaving, the door from his room closing shut. After he's sure the man has left, Jungkook exhales out all the air he was holding, clutching the strands of his hair as flashes from Jimin moaning underneath him starts flooding his brain, his cock hardening inside his pants again.
The realisation of his actions starting to sink in.
Shit, he had just had sex with Jimin.
And he liked it.

If Jimin and Jungkook didn't cross paths that much before the wedding — only at Chanmin’s or Eunho’s birthday and special occasions — they surely did start seeing each other more often than they thought they'd be after their best friends’ wedding.
After Jungkook’s hotel room incident.
They acted like nothing had happened. Jungkook had never told Chanmin just like he knew Jimin hadn’t mentioned anything to Eunho.
The tension around them increased after that night?
Yeah. Sure.
Jungkook would find himself regularly staring at Jimin’s ass or even exchanging hot glares with him sometimes when neither his best friend or her husband were looking?
Mhm... Guilty.
Did Jungkook constantly think about that night for the past year after Chanmin’s wedding until his human mind started to fail him and he only remembered glimpses of it?
Yeah.
Does Jungkook still want to fuck the days out of Jimin when the man is acting like the annoying snobby motherfucker he is?
All the fucking time.
Did Jungkook and Jimin talk about what happened after a while?
Nope.
So, yeah, they started seeing each other more frequently after their best friend’s wedding.
Chanmin’s and Eunho’s birthday, their wedding anniversary party, casual gathering of adults almost friday night at the couple’s house to have dinner — newlyweds should be busy being newlyweds, but Chanmin and Eunho somehow seem to enjoy having Jimin and Jungkook together in the same room.
Dinner to celebrate Eunho’s becoming the head professor of the Literature building where Jimin and he give lectures.
And at Chanmin’s baby shower.
Jungkook's best friend found out she was pregnant three years after her wedding day and he had never seen the woman so happy and glowing before.
She had a boy, Jungmin.
It's safe to say Jungkook cried like an actual and smiled through ugly fat tears while he held a small and delicate Jungmin in his arms next to Chanmin’s hospital bed. She had just told him she wanted Jungkook to be Jungmin’s godfather. Of course, he had totally ignored the fact Jimin was Eunho’s choice to be the other godfather as well and just thanked his best friend, giving her forehead a kiss and passing Jungmin to her arms.
His cries hadn't stopped there as he burst into tears once more and hid inside the bathroom of his tattoo parlor after, making a promise to himself that he'd protect little Jungmin and be the greatest godfather ever.
Better than Jimin, for sure.
(His hands were still shaking a little when he started tattooing a client minutes later, but fortunately he didn't mess up the design.)
Things were going very well — if Jungkook ignores the fact he's owing a lot of money to the bank he applied for a loan so he could open his own tattoo studio years back. They're sending notices every single month for him to pay his debt or else they would take his studio from him — until he received a call at work and immediately rushed to the hospital, hands shaking as he found Jimin sat on the floor with his head between his hands, shoulders trembling from his crying.
It didn’t matter how much Jimin and him disliked each other's presence at that moment. Jungkook had only let himself cry and repeat over and over inside his head no, no, no when Jimin had looked at him with red rimmed eyes and shook his head, not needing actual words to confirm the news.
They didn't make it.
Chanmin’s and Eunho’s funeral was two days after the car accident.
Jungkook didn't have time to mourn his best friend's death and say his goodbyes properly, because Eunho’s mother is giving Jungmin to him right this moment, mumbling under her breath how irresponsible of her son to make two men outside their family to be her grandson's guardian.
He obviously freaks out.
“What?! Wh—What are you talking about? I'm pretty sure you got this wrong, Ms. Nam,” Jungkook holds a sleeping Jungmin in his arms, caressing the baby's back as he incredulously stares the woman in front of him, tears still fresh on his cheeks after watching Chanmin’s and Eunho’s coffin getting buried.
The woman scolds, arms crossed. “Oh, you have no idea how much I wished I had got this wrong, boy. How could Eunho and his wife ever think about something like this?” her eyes filled with disgust glued to the back of Jungkook's tattooed hand.
He ignores it, only holding the baby tighter against his chest as he gulps down any insult to spill on the woman's face, respecting his late friend's mother.
“I had to accept my son's wife since he was in love with her. And also because it was easy to pretend she didn't work with…you know. This,” she points to Jungkook's hand. “She was still a journalist and didn’t have that many tattoos on her body. Thank God. What would people th—”
Jungkook cuts her sharply, resentful eyes staring right back at her as he speaks between gritted teeth. “Can you not?! It's your son's funeral. It's my friend's funeral. Respect him and his wife.”
The woman only huffs, pursing her lips as she shifts her gaze to look at someone in front of Eunho’s gravestone.
Jimin.
He's sure his ears failed him for a moment at her next words.
“You and Jimin are Jungmin’s legal guardians. Apparently, they chose both of you to take care of my grandson in case something like this happened to them... I only got to know about this yesterday when I went to recognise my son’s body.”
Jungkook can’t bear to look at her, his eyes tearing up at both the mention of Eunho and the news he had just received.
This can’t be right.
There’s no way Chanmin had done that.
“There's nothing I can do. I'd gladly take care of Jungmin myself if they hadn't signed both your names,” Eunho’s mother continues, probably aware of the inner turmoil going on inside Jungkook, leaning forward to kiss Jungmin’s head. “I'll visit him every weekend. It's only one phone call away from me to report you to the authorities if something happens to my grandson.”
She doesn't let Jungkook react to her very clear threat and just gives him her back, walking to her car along with Eunho’s family. They give him a hard glare as well. Jungkook holds Jungmin’s face against his neck, one arm under his butt and his free trembling hand securing him by the nape.
He's shaking.
Chanmin and him had never talked about any of this. The woman had only joked once, when Jungkook had successfully made Jungmin stop crying by singing softly, that if something dared to happen to her in the future, she would be relieved to know Jungkook would be there to make sure Jungmin would be okay. She obviously joked, saying she trusted Jungkook more to take care of her son than her own husband. He realises now, in the middle of the cemetery, that she might have signed his name along with Jimin back that day.
Jungkook bites his trembling lip, taking a deep long breath.
There's a lot going inside his mind right now, and he swears he’s only one second away from collapsing in tears again, but he finds the remaining strength inside his body to put himself back together for a moment so he could walk towards Jimin slowly, having absolutely no idea how he'd tell him the news.
It seems that the man is expecting Jungkook already as sighs and puts his hands inside his long coat pocket, eyes glued to Eunho’s name on his gravestone when Jungkook stops next to him.
“Hey, um—”
“I already know. She told me before the funeral.”
Oh.
Jungkook blinks and nods after a moment, mouth running dry. Jungmin shifts in his arms and nuzzles his face onto his godfather's neck, tiny fingers clutching his tie as he proceeds to sleep heavily, unaware of the loss of both his parents. Jungkook stands next to Jimin, eyes on Chanmin’s gravestone as he caresses Jungmin’s small back, listening to the baby’s soft snores.
“What are we gonna d—”
Jimin’s sharp tone cuts him right there, his tongue cleaning the front of his teeth. “What are we gonna do? I am not doing this, Jungkook,” he shakes his head, dismay written all over his face.
Jungkook's blood boils abruptly, putting himself between Eunho’s gravestone stone and Jimin, forcing the man to look at him and mostly to look at Jungmin in his arms. The man only stares at him, bloodshot and frigid eyes holding his gaze for a moment before shifting to the big tree behind Jungkook.
“Are you—Are you serious?" unbelief and rage dripping from Jungkook's voice. "Jimin?! This is your best friend’s son. No, better. This is your godso—”
Jimin raises his voice, “I’m not a dad, Jungkook!” and something inside Jungkook breaks at that. He has the urge to secure a hand around Jungmin’s head to protect him from his godfather's words. "I have no idea why Eunho and Chanmin thought it'd be a good idea to put me as their son's legal guardian, but I am not doing this,” veins pops on Jimin’s neck from the force he speaks. “I didn't ask for it—”
“I’m not a father and I didn't ask for it either!” Jungkook tries to argue back, taking a step closer to Jimin that takes one back. “But Jungmin is our best friends’ son and we're his godfathers, Jimin. I'm afraid and confused just like you are. We can sit down and talk, but please—" he pleads, desperate at the look in Jimin's eyes. It can't be. "We can't leave Jungmin alo—”
Jimin then goes and interrupts him with glistening eyes, chuckling humorlessly, tongue poking his cheek, his whole posture screaming anguish and distress. Desperation fills Jungkook’s chest when he sees Jimin has already made his choice — nothing Jungkook could say would change it.
“I can't do this..." the man whispers, a tear falling down his cheek when he shakes his head, staring off at the three behind the graves. "I can't, Jungkook.”
Jungkook watches in disbelief how Jimin dares to cast one last glance to Eunho’s gravestone before he's turning around and walking toward his car, leaving Jungmin and him behind. His lips start trembling, chest tightening so much he worries he will have a stroke for a moment. A comforting hand weighs on his shoulders, and he doesn't have to turn around to know it's Taehyung.
He doesn't hold back his tears this time.
“What am I going to do?" Jungkook sobs quietly, tasting the salty tears on his tongue, "I have no idea how to take care of myself, imagine a child. H—How could he do this?" his voice cracks, "Jungmin didn't deserve any of this. W—Why did this have to happen to her, Tae?”
Jungmin whines softly in his sleep and it only makes Jungkook cry harder.
“We're gonna figure out how to do this, Kook. Don't worry. I'm here.” Taehyung comforts him, equally shaken by the news, his voice soft but strained as he stares at Jimin pulling out his car and leaving the cemetery without looking back once. He guides Jungkook to his chest, hugging him carefully to not disturb a sleeping Jungmin.
Jungkook lets all the weight from Chanmin’s death and Jimin’s words fall down his shoulder at once and cries like he had never cried before in his life, holding onto Taehyung for dear life.
{...}
He’s forced to move into Chanmin and Eunho’s house.
Packing all his belongings, he moves in with Taehyung’s help three days later. It's very, very hard and heartbreaking to live inside a house where every corner he'd look at, reminded him of his best friend. Between moving in and adjusting his whole schedule to take care of Jungmin, he didn't have time to mourn over Chanmin and Eunho properly — it hasn't hit him yet, that his best friend had passed away and he's technically Jungmin’s father now. It doesn’t feel right in any way.
He thought someone was pulling a prank on him in the first days to keep himself sane.
The thought scares him to death and he goes to sleep crying every night inside of one of the three guests room at Chanmin’s and Eunho’s house — refusing to sleep on the master bedroom, his friends’ bedroom — listening to the soft snores of Jungmin on the baby's monitor next to his bed, fear clouding his mind. He has to carry on for Jungmin. The one year old has no idea of the situation he’s in, losing both of his parents at such a young age and being taken care of by a broken tattoo artist.
His routine has changed completely — as his tattoo parlour is closer to Chanmin’s house than his old apartment was, he takes Jungmin to his work often when the babysitter isn't available and Taehyung usually plays with him at the small lobby when Jungkook has an appointment. There are times both Taehyung and him have appointments at the same time, and he's forced to tattoo his clients whilst Jungmin plays with his toys quietly, sitting on his playard and watching singalong cartoons, ripping coos from people.
He always blushes and sadness clouds his features when his clients ask him if Jungmin is his son. It happens every time and he quickly denies it, admitting he's only taking care of him for a friend.
Which is true at a certain point.
Jungmin is a very calm and loving baby. He usually — keyword; usually — doesn't give his godfather a hard time. Jungkook can count on his fingers how many times Jungmin cried or threw a tantrum in the past month — he’s very glad his godson is a well-behaved child.
Looking back at him, Jungkook likes to think he had handled the first month significantly well.
He already knew Jungmin’s sleeping habits since he had helped Chanmin a lot in the first months when Eunho had to work and she stayed at home during her maternity leave taking care of her newborn. Jungmin doesn’t usually wake up crying at night and he enjoys watching singalongs and colourful cartoons all the time. He still hasn't aged enough to go to kindergarten, so Jungkook is glued to him almost twenty-four hours seven days a week.
It was less difficult — he wouldn't say easy, because it is not easy in any way to be responsible for a child — than he thought.
Changing diapers and preparing his food used to be challenging tasks for Jungkook in the first two weeks, since Chanmin would take care of that when he went to help her, but he quickly got hold of it — Eunho’s mother guiding him surely was a great help even if the woman still gets uncomfortable at his presence every time she visits him.
(She had asked about Jimin once, two weeks after Jungkook moved in to Chanmin's and Eunho's house. Jungkook decided to whisper a 'I don't know' in a firm voice instead of telling the whole thing, letting it clear he didn't want to talk about the topic. She just stayed in silence and never asked again, her face cold as ice when she realised what he meant by that.)
Jungkook always ends up wetting himself more at Jungmin’s bath time than the own kid — that giggles cutely every time he splashes more water and wets Jungkook's shirt — but yeah, he proudly taps himself on the back for handling the first month well.
And he still goes to sleep with a heavy heart at night, afraid of the whole thing. Afraid of wanting to give up one day — like a certain person did — and leave Jungmin behind.
Afraid of how his future would be from now on.
Afraid of not being a good guardian to Jungmin.
He cries quietly at night missing his best friend, thinking how fucking unfair she and her husband were taken away from their baby so abruptly, when they were so happy. Everything had happened so sudden. It's a lot of pressure on Jungkook’s shoulders, but he doesn’t blame Chanmin in any way for her decision to make him Jungmin’s caretaker.
He puts himself back together every morning for the sake of the little boy.
{...}
Jimin knocks on his door two months later. No smirk on his lips, no nose and chin up high, no sarcastic comment hanging on the tip of his tongue. He's avoiding Jungkook's eyes instead, hands interlaced in front of his body as a big branded bag lays next to his shiny and expensive shoes.
Jungkook bites back the urge to scoff.
If he could just close the door on Jimin's face and deny his help to take care of Jungmin, he's sure he'd done it by now. His skin is pricking in annoyance, and he wants nothing more than to punch the man in the face and remind him exactly what he had said to Jungkook and Jungmin a month ago.
But he can't do that. He can't do that because first; Jimin is still Jungmin’s guardian along with him.
And second, Jungkook desperately needs help, every single day, to take care not only of Jungmin but of the house too. Taehyung, Eunho’s mother and the babysitter saves him most of the time. However, it's still extremely hard and distressing — the house's expenses are eating Jungkook alive — his shoulder had too much weight to carry all this responsibility by himself.
Turning into a caretaker, a father, in a blink of an eye isn’t something easy. And third, Eunho trusted Jimin to take care of his son, just like Chanmin had probably agreed if signing his name wasn't an indicator. He can't deny Jimin the right to take care of Jungmin along with him, even if he was willing to knock on Jimin's door and plead on his knees, humiliate himself for the man to help him just a month ago.
“I... I'm so—"
“Don't bother me with your apologies," Jungkook cuts him before Jimin even has a chance, jaw clenched from gritting his teeth. He holds the door open, eyes locked into the man's regretful ones. “You should be apologising to your godson and mostly to your best friend."
Jimin only gulps, body burning in shame, his shoulders falling as he averted his eyes from Jungkook’s — he’s never seen the man looking so gloomy and deflected before and he finds himself not even feeling bad for enjoying seeing Jimin like that. If only, he enjoys it. Satisfaction burning inside his veins at the sight, pleased with the fact Jimin is embarrassed and ashamed.
He better be.
“Jungkook—”
"Choose between one of the two guest rooms. This is where you'll have to live from now on,” Jungkook doesn't give a chance to Jimin to answer and he really doesn't want to hear the man's voice at that moment. He just turns on his heels, taking the stairs to check up on Jungmin sleeping in his room, and leaves the man alone at the front door. His mind runs miles a hour and he sighs heavily, full of distressed as he rubs his face when he hears the entrance door closing and Jimin's steps on the second floor hallway sounding hesitant, walking to the guest room next to Jungmin’s room slowly.
Jungkook calms down for a second only to lean down and kiss Jungmin’s forehead before heading to his room, his brain twitching in thoughts.
{...}
Waking up the next day was surely never–wracking, because his first thoughts were everything — what breakfast he was going to prepare for Jungmin today? Maybe a bowl of cherry berry with chia and yogurt would be a good idea! — but Jimin knocking on the door last night and committing himself to fill up his paper of Jungmin’s guardian along with him. Forgetting of all about that leads him to run downstairs with a bat held high in his hands, afraid that someone had broken in. He exhales in relief when he sees it's only Jimin but, immediately frowns, confusion written on his face.
Why is Jimin here?
“What the hell are you doing here?”
The man jumps at the sudden voice coming behind him, hissing when the feverish water hits his finger briefly. “Really? Already forgetful at such a young age?”
The memory from last night flooding back into his brain makes him curse under his breath, realisation settling in.
Fuck. Right.
He would have to share the same roof as Jimin from now on.
The said Jimin that takes a glance at him, rolling his eyes tiredly after.
Jungkook ignores his words and lets out a long yawn, his body still not entirely awakened. He glances at the clock hitched on the wall, squinting his eyes to see better the tiny digits, groaning out loud when he sees it's five fucking in the morning — three hours earlier from what's used to wake up.
“What are you doing up at five o'clock in the morning? Are you crazy?”
“Well, different from you…" Jimin begins, filling his cup with fresh coffee, "I have a set schedule," turning to face Jungkook, resting his back on the kitchen’s counter, blowing air to cool down the feverish liquid. Jungkook totally misses the way the man's eyes checks him out — he had slept only with a sweatpants the night before, his shirtless tattooed torso exposed to the cool air in the kitchen — because he's too busy rubbing his eyes, annoyance filling his chest at Jimin's usual comments toward his job.
“I can see you're not down and regretful anymore like you were last night. You're back to your usual and normal snobby pretentious self,” Jungkook huffs bitterly, walking to the fridge to grab a cup of water, hearing Jimin scoffing behind him.
“I am… regretful. I'm doing this for Jungmin and Eunho.”
Seeing the opportunity right there in the air, he doesn't miss it to throw Jimin's words on his face — resentment from their conversation two months earlier still fresh inside his mind. He's reaches Jimin in a second, trapping the man between the counter, piercing gaze steeled on him. Jimin straightens his posture quickly, completely alarmed at Jungkook’s sudden proximity. He frowns, ready to complain.
“Oh, really? Because I'm pretty sure you told me something else two months ago.”
At that, Jimin slams his cup of coffee down on the counter hard, spilling the liquid as he leans forward to point a finger on Jungkook's face, angry eyes staring his. “I said that I'm sorry, remember? When you didn't let me finish it last night? I am sorry. It was really low of me. Are you going to throw that at my face every day now? I'm committed to this. I love Jungmin and I'll take care of him because both Chanmin and Eunho trusted me with this.”
Jungkook grabs a hold of the man's wrist, yanking his finger away from his face, “Yeah? If you're so committed to this, then you'll have to adjust your set schedule, professor—" he spits the word, pushing his finger against Jimin's chest. “Taking care of a child is harder than you are probably thinking it is. Jungmin’s babysitter can't work all day while we're both at work and actually…" Jungkook shakes his head, letting out a brief sigh before continuing, "I wouldn't let him stay more than five hours with a babysitter, because I don't want him to spend all his childhood next to a person that is paid to watch him. We need to take care of him.”
Jimin says nothing at that, looking distressed. The man's chest moving up and down fast. Jungkook can feel the anger radiating off him in waves.
He continues, any vestige of sleepiness gone, his pulse agitated from the heavy atmosphere around the kitchen. “So, you better call your prestigious university or boss people around at your famous book publishing company to open a spot in your set and tight schedule to take care of your godson,” he punctuates each word poking his finger on Jimin’s chest hard, holding the man’s hard glare for five more seconds before taking his glass of water and giving him his back, leaving Jimin alone in the kitchen to contemplate over his words.
He shuts his door close with force and jumps right after when he remembers Jungmin’s room is right next to his, immediately praying that the loud sound hasn't disturbed the baby's peaceful sleep.
