Emerged fully formed, generating language. Okay, so at least mimicking language contours at two weeks. Who even does that? Children with parents who keep charts of phonemes, guys. People whose fathers are linguists with a grudge against Chomsky.
What this explains, I have no idea. What I do have is a mind full of pretty uselessly wonderful television and sci-fi trivia and the sad, sad ability to remember pretty much everything I've ever read, heard or done. It's a pretty annoying superpower. It's kind of an un-superpower.
And, finally, me and bad TV are apparently someone's OTP. Either that or bad TV and I are bros for life. I'm looking at you, Red Dwarf.
