I wanna save some people.” Feeling Peter go completely still beside him, Stiles cursed under his breath, the external sparks fading from his skin. “Shit, sorry. I should have thought this through.” Turning toward the wolf, he leaned into him, shoulder to shoulder, sympathy and guilt radiating off the younger man. “I can only affect things I was a part of. If I could, I would totally go back and try to save them, but I wasn’t there.”
“It’s fine, Stiles. Have you tried this spell yet?” Leaning close to keep their physical connection, Peter looked between Chris and Stiles, curiosity evident in his expression.
“No. I need an anchor to do it, and I couldn’t decide between you two, so I figured I’d ask you both because why not." Shrugging, Stiles pulled away to pace, unable to stay still for long.
Peter’s eyebrows shot up, a flirty smirk pulling across his face as his eyes raked over both men. “Why not, indeed.”

Summary
After the Nogitsune killed Allison, Peter and Chris left Beacon Hills, so Peter could pick up the pieces, both of his mate and of the Hale Pack.
After he regained his Alpha status and was assured that Chris was doing better, the mated pair returns to Beacon Hills. Peter had thought Stiles would be fine, with his own pack, would be healing. He's appalled by the state Stiles is in when they arrive to take their boy away.

“I’m at Jungle.” Another gasping pause. “Or, well, I’m hiding outside Jungle. In the alley. It’s raining really hard so no one else is out here.”
Peter is already up, pulling his jacket on and plucking a set of keys off the hook. He tosses Chris his own jacket.
“Why are you hiding in the alley? It’s too cold to be out in the rain.”
“I got drugged,” Stiles says. And Chris can’t help but feel he maybe should have led with that. “It’s gonna kick in for real any minute now, and I didn’t want to be inside where it’s crowded.”
“He what,” Peter snarls.
“Peter and I are on our way,” Chris promises. “I’m gonna stay on the phone with you the whole time. Okay?”
Stiles takes dating advice from Peter and Chris, but winds up in a dangerous situation. In the aftermath, crippling fear and doubt begin to take hold.

"It's hunter territory," Chris scoffed, his arms snaking back around Stiles' waist to pull him close.
"Argent territory," Peter pointed out, "Of which there are only two of you, and both of you have taken in a wolf. Poetic, don't you think?"
"You talk in circles and I'm too tired to boost your ego before my morning coffee," Stiles grumbled, flipping off the alpha before slinking into the kitchen, slipping from Chris' hold, to make his own drink.
"Trust me, my ego doesn't need boosting," Peter scoffed.
"We know," Chorused almost half the room with varying levels of annoyance.___
The Hales come sniffing into France in search of a pack, though Peter might be searching for something a little more, and Stiles might be about to get swept of his feet for the second time.
