I'm kind of stunned I haven't read this authors' works until the advanced age of 2025. This one made me want to watch Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles for the first time (I was an old and jaded [OJ?] Terminator fan, p'raps an actual 'OG' fan and was kind of burned out by the time the television series popped up). This story fanned my flames and the denouement had me shaking my head in amazement.
Very re-read worthy.
