Summary
In search of a missing relative near Mt. Ebott, Frisk falls in the Underground. What should have been a short stay soon turns into a perilous journey through places far different from what they expected.
Note: This story is my personal interpretation of Storyshift. It includes some heavy headcanons that diverge from both the Pre-Boot and Reboot versions of Storyshift. I am using this AU as a creative sandbox, so please keep that in mind while reading!

Will they manage with the cards stacked against them, in a world with no real escape?
Only time will tell.
(Though, maybe not. They're pretty tired, and the ghost in their head isn't exactly helping.)

Summary

Nathan has never heard of Undertale, so he's experiencing this world for the first time, unaware that his mere presence has a drastic change on the story you might be familiar with. Regardless, his goal eventually aligns with all of monsterkind, which is to reach the surface so that he may try and find his family again. However he may just find a new family while he's down there.
