Summary
Murdoc's awfully responsive, which makes matters worse. At least if he was desperate to get away, Stuart could detach himself from him, admit to himself that this was supposed to be a one time thing. But Murdoc's clinging, as well, and he's gripping on Stuart's waist, dipping his tongue into his mouth, trying to claim him as his. It really shouldn't be this difficult.
or, it's murdoc's last night in crawley, and stuart reflects on the most eventful night of his life.

Summary
Car meets skull. Satanist meets incompetent legal system. Sunshine meets pavement. Fate meets dangerously complicated obsession. Choose Pazuzu. Blood meets contract. Trauma bond meets Found Family bonds. Band meets fame. Fame turns out to be a ponzi scheme of demonic bureaucracy that Murdoc is not prepared to deal with- Don't print that! It's under control!! The rest is music history... GLUG. Ah and the history of everything else as well... A proper romcom, all things considered.
Note: Pre-Phase 1, Phase 1 and Phase 2 are complete! AND WE ARE CURRENTLY STUCK ON A PILE OF PINK RUBBISH! This story will eventually encompass/work with canon up until the resolution of Phase 5.

发现简介真的很诚实。正典重构之Murdoc勇斗超自然庞氏骗局顺便滥用一个西西弗斯比喻,那个叫啥来着?情绪便秘。我觉得之前看到的观点是有点对的支持作者支持小面like fathers like daughter(呃不过我初在wyy听歌的时候真的有怀疑三个有头发的是不是有什么血缘关系因为在一些宣图上真的被画的很像对不起搞惯了霓虹二次元/PS:真诚地无意冒犯Russel),万幸的是这个小女孩超越了你们2+1<3 x。

Summary
Back in the year 2002, there was absolutely nothing between singer Stu-Pot and bass player Murdoc Niccals except for their top selling band. The blue-haired boy never thought it'd be anything more--And he was right. Murdoc made sure of it.

Summary
Murdoc likes it the way they are now. Likes the way 2D's all soft and lush, cheeks pink from the stuffy too-hot air of the Winnie. With his gangly legs tangled up with Murdoc's. Likes the way he can feel 2D breathe beneath the weight of his palm, the slow steady rhythm up-and-down, up-and-down. Likes the feeling of 2D’s too-long fingers as they curl into the pitch-black of his hair. The way they're so close that Murdoc feels suffocated by it.

Summary
“Oh,” said Stuart. He really did look young. Maybe eighteen, nineteen. He’d probably be out of the business by twenty. He didn’t look like someone who needed to do this; he looked like a kid experimenting, trying on boots too big for him. “You feeling alright?” asked Stuart. “You seem a little, uh. Bad.”
‘Bad’. Murdoc rolled his eyes. “I’ll be fine once you give me my fix.” He made a come-hither gesture with his fingers. “C’mon, give it.”
“Er, you have to pay me first. That’s how this works.”
Murdoc needs a fix. Coincidentally, Stuart is trying his hand at dealing. They come to an arrangement.

Summary
Sometimes Ace felt like he was at a disadvantage in their relationship. Murdoc and 2D had so much history… so much time together. Sure, not all of it was good, in fact, a lot of it was pretty shit, but they still had in-jokes and stories to look back on. Ace had barely known Murdoc back in the day. They’d partied a bit and hung around with the same crowd but nothing big. And he’d only met 2D when he came to play bass for Gorillaz. It just wasn’t the same.

Summary
"Murdoc looks terrible—even more than usual. He’s disheveled and covered in monitors. Asleep, he looks nearly dead. If this man—this man who bought her a jetpack as a child, and kind of taught her how to drive, and never hesitated to cut down any interviewer who said the slightest thing inappropriate about her—dies after she yelled at him on the phone and abandoned him in jail, Noodle will never forgive him. Or herself."
Shortly after the release of Cracker Island, the band's good times are derailed by a medical mystery. Murdoc has an existential crisis, Noodle takes it upon herself to save her sort-of parental figure, Russel tries to keep the peace...and 2D realizes it's time to adult.

This was so cute and the perfect balance of pacing, fluff, angst, and even my asexual ass has to compliment how well the smut was sprinkled in every now and then. (Also I loved the interludes of the different accounts online and the continuity 😭)

Summary
Being in a successful band isn't just about music. It's about putting in the effort, even when you'd happily push your bandmates off of a cliff because you're so fed up of them. It's about being a team no matter what.
And while 2D and Murdoc agree that what's between them is no strings attached, they're ignoring that being in Gorillaz is more than a string— it's elastic, and they keep being pulled back together.

Summary
"You weren't looking at the crowd," 2D whispered, his mouth slightly open, showing the empty gap where his front teeth used to be. "You had your eyes shut tight, Mudz. I felt your hands shaking on me shirt."

It was supposed to be a cheap punk stunt for the NME—just a bit of the old rock-and-roll ultraviolence to spike their streaming numbers. But when Murdoc drags 2D off the stage and locks the dressing room door, the post-show adrenaline twists into something far more volatile. Lost in the static of a 2001 arena high, the line between routine violence and raw hunger completely snaps.
