Summary
Lan Zhan did consider himself lucky. He knew he had lucked out in his marriage, even though it was arranged. They rarely ever argued, and even the few times they did, it wasn’t serious and was resolved within a few minutes.
But Lan Zhan was secretly a huge romantic at heart. He wanted more. He wanted to have proper dates, wanted to have movie nights, wanted to hold hands just because they could. He wanted more intimacy, even if it didn’t match the full extent of his fantasies—the fantasies that had ruined it all.
Lan Zhan wants Wei Ying to be rougher in bed with him, but miscommunication ensues. Things change for the better when he falls sick on Wei Ying's birthday.

Summary
She called the shots, prettied him up, showed him around and made him get off in all the ways he wanted without having to worry about talking to anyone or negotiating with strangers. In exchange, she got to see him completely undone, and felt the pride of owning him to let others do exactly as much as she allowed, and nothing more. She was not attracted to Lan Zhan, had never desired him, but he was so lovely that having power over him felt extra intoxicating.
Lan Zhan trusted her like nobody else did, so she wanted to give him everything he could possibly desire, even if he himself didn’t yet know what it was. She looked at her phone, at the new contact in it, for long minutes. Lan Zhan deserved everything, and something in her gut told her Wei Ying could be good for him.
