Of course, he knew some fraction of it had to do with his visit with dear 'ol daddy Bats. Slade wasn't stupid by any means. He understood on a level he perhaps didn't want to that Jason was still angry, even after all these years. Even if he played nice with Bruce, he was still angry deep inside his core.
