Summary
It’s 1988 baby! Two years have passed since the defeat of Vecna, and all seems to be well (finally) in the town of Hawkins. However, not everyone is over the events of two years prior. Steve Harrington is in a bit of a funk. He's having panic attacks and depressive episodes. After Nancy offers him a job he can't refuse, Steve finds himself working in a summer camp alongside some familiar faces. Six weeks of sexuality crisis, sexual frustration, weed, and a new enemy is on the way... but will Steve be able to handle it for the sake of the person he loves?
Or: Steve is depressed and becomes a camp counsellor, soon he realises he's bisexual and in love with Eddie Munson. Fluff, Smut, Angst and heart-to-heart discussions ensue.

Summary
Eddie had done a lot of running recently. He’d run when Chrissy died, when Jason and his gang was hunting him, when the cops gave his name to the town and started a witch hunt for the freak. He’d run from all of it, and more.
He’d run from the lab. He’d run from Papa.
He couldn’t run any longer.

My own take on the 'Eddie is from Hawkin's Lab' theory!

Summary
And as Steve drives home, he knows what he should be thinking. He should be so proud of himself for having this breakthrough. He should be wildly excited that he had a productive conversation with the opposite sex - or anybody, for that matter. He should be patting himself on the back on the prospects of being Just Friends with Nancy Wheeler instead of gaining another number to his dumb body count list. He should be reveling in the news that he is capable of change. But Steve’s not thinking about any of those really wonderful things. He’s only thinking about one thing:
‘Nancy’s little bother called me douchey-looking-hair-guy, and I cannot wait to tell Eddie Munson.’
Or:What if Steve Harrington had found himself in detention with Eddie Munson on the day he was supposed to take Nancy Wheeler on their first date? How drastically different would his life be?

Summary
It had been two and a half months since the end of Spring Break.
Eddie had been cleared of all charges, The Byers were back in Hawkins like they’d never left, Vecna was dead and gone, and everything was back to normal; or rather as back to normal as Hawkins could get.
Unfortunately for one Steve Harrington, his new normal seemed to be not only his inability to get a date, but also his newfound proclivity towards staring at Eddie Munson’s mouth while he dramatically narrated during a five hour Hellfire session, or counting the freckles on the bridge of his nose, or memorizing the patterns in his honey coloured eyes.
What the fuck was wrong with him?
(Now with Eddie’s pov added!)

Summary
Steve Harrington never planned for Eddie Munson.
Steve was supposed to marry his high school sweetheart, have 2.5 children, and take over the family business. He was supposed to live a blissful life on a nondescript cul-de-sac, complete with a white picket fence and a closet full of tasteful polo shirts. He was supposed to make a graceful transition between being the golden boy and being the American Dream.
Mediocrity was what destiny had designed for Steve. Reality had other plans.
(Or, Steve and Eddie, against all odds, fall in love)
