Opening his closet again, he sighs as he moves to lazily rifle through his clothes again when he spots something. Shuffling his clothes back, he sees the green crewneck sweatshirt he’d been looking for before he left, tucked back in his closet, all the way at the end.
“How the hell did I miss that?” He mutters to himself, shaking his head.
He goes to pull it out, when something stops him in his tracks. Something that he, of all people, would definitely notice. Hesitantly, he slowly brings the sweatshirt up to his nose, sniffing once and immediately jolts his head back.

When Itadori Yuuji crashes into his life, he thinks he's just another passing season. A summer storm. A typhoon, even. But Yuuji stays long after the leaves have changed. Stays when winter's grip should've chased him away. He stays when it's time for spring and he stays when summer rolls around again.
Yuuji becomes Megumi's best friend at the tender age of six. He's all smiles and scraped knees and missing teeth, and Megumi has never met someone who could light up a room quite like Yuuji can. He's bright and he's warm and he's like the sun itself, chasing the shadows from Megumi's life.

"Deep breaths, young grasshopper," Gojo interrupts, still laser-focused on his pen. "Lucky for you, I have just the thing."
With a dramatic flick of his wrist, he catches the pen mid-wobble and spins in his chair like a man on a mission. Yuuji watches, dazed, as Gojo reaches behind his desk and plucks a pamphlet from the chaotic rainbow lineup behind him. His eyes drift over the rest, taking in each unhinged title. Why would a guidance counselor even have these? And worse—who approved them?
Twirling back around, Gojo slides a pamphlet slowly across the desk like he's just handed Yuuji the secrets of the universe. Yuuji takes it with both hands, squinting at the aggressively cheerful cover before reading the title aloud: "Top 5 Ways to Have the Best First Date."
