Akaashi hated using that term to refer to their Saturday meetings, but that’s what Bokuto called them, so it kind of stuck. It’s not that he was averse to the idea of dating Bokuto–quite the opposite, really. The term ‘study date’ was just a bitter reminder of what they weren’t doing.
That is, until Bokuto decided to ask him to ditch the library for a (real) date they'd remember for a long, long time.
