Chapter Text
A few days have passed since the incident where Wanda's and my powers have connected and she has effortlessly blended into the playful dynamic that my girls and I have. Knowing about all the moments that we had and still have, Yelena and Kate are willing to be completely open around her. As we all sit in the living room waiting for Antonia to arrive, Yelena, Kate and I are sat on the couch cuddling and Wanda sits across from us talking about the most random things. I look up to the ceiling as Friday announces a visitor, carefully remove myself from the cuddle puddle and glance at Wanda to see her looking nervous.
"Why are you nervous?" I ask her as she follows me to the door.
"I'm meeting your other sister for the first time and I'm worried that she won't like me." Wanda says playing with the rings on her hands.
"Wanda, she's not gonna hate you and honestly I expected this nervousness from Kate." I say laughing a bit.
"Well it's not everyday that you meet your possible sisters other sister." Wanda says with a laugh as well.
"That reminds me. Shouldn't Tony already have the results back?" I ask her as I open the door.
The moment that I open the door, I'm pulled into a tight hug by Antonia and I hug her back just as tightly. I pull away to look her over, see that the scar on her face has shrunk some since I've been away from her, give her a smile and motion for Wanda to come forward.
"Antonia, I know you remember our father saying I was half Sokovian right? Well this is Wanda and she is possibly my sister." I say.
"Pleasure to meet you, Wanda. It would be nice to have someone else in the family besides us two." Antonia says pulling Wanda into a hug.
I think back to how my sister is, realize that since being out of the Red Room she has become more affectionate and touchy than even Yelena and I have become and smile at her welcoming Wanda to the family. I lead them back to the main room, see Yelena and Kate jump up from the couch and send them a warm smile. I see Kate starting to fiddle with the hem of her shirt nervously, walk over to her grabbing her hands and look her in the eyes to let her know that it's going to be okay.
"Antonia, it's nice seeing you again and under way better circumstances." Yelena says pulling Antonia into a quick hug.
"I know that you won my sister's heart, but from what I hear there is another that has in her time away from the widows." Antonia says walking over to me and Kate.
"That would be Kate. She is kind of nervous at the moment." I say turning to face my sister.
I move to stand behind Kate, pull her into my arms wrapping my arms around her waist and kiss the side of her head resting my chin on her shoulder. I see the look in Antonia's eyes, smirk knowing that she's getting the initiation that Yelena got into the family and back away from Kate after letting her go. I see Kate looking between me and Antonia in confusion, see that Yelena has caught on and we both quickly move anything that's breakable. Yelena make quick work of giving them both room for what's about to happen, smile when Kate still looks confused and share a look with Yelena.
"You're about to be initiated into the family the same way that Yelena was." I say with a smirk.
"Wait how was Yelena initiated and why did you move the furniture?" Kate asks still confused.
I watch as Kate barely dodges Antonia's punch by doing a backflip, lean against the wall with Yelena and cross my arms over my chest. I rest my head on Yelena's shoulder as I watch Antonia mimic every single one of Kate's moves, drop my jaw when Kate actually lands a good hit and smile when I see the smile on Kate's face.
"You think that we trained her enough for this? It takes a lot to beat Taskmaster." I say as I watch the two move through the room.
"We've trained her to the best of our abilities and she's beaten both of us multiple times. We've beaten her multiple times. She's got this and we both know that Antonia isn't going easy on her. I barely beat her and I felt it for weaks." Yelena says with a smile as she watches Kate.
"To be fair have one up on me because of that. You beat her and I have never beaten her." I say watching as Kate barely manages to get Antonia on the ground for a minute.
I look toward the door to see Natasha watching the scene in shock, wave her over to join Yelena and me and continue watching my sister and Kate fight. I feel Yelena wrap an arm around me, lean more into her as I wrap my arms around her and smirk over at Natasha.
"What is going on here?" Nat whispers.
"Antonia's way of initiating Kate into the Dreykov family. Yelena had to do it too." I say with a small smile.
"She's doing really well against someone who can mimic everything you do." Nat says impressed.
"That's what happens when you don't hold back during training and sparring sessions. I know that Antonia was shocked when Kate managed to dodge the first swing. I know my sister is gonna leave with some bruises on her." I say and watch as Kate starts getting winded.
I look at my sister to see that she's actually sweating, look at Kate to see the cogs working in her mind and smirk when I see a plan form. I gently nudge Yelena to look at the smirk in Kate's eyes, see her let her own smirk out and smile when we know exactly what she's about to do. I watch as she does the widow move on my sister, see my sister about to counter it, watch as Kate predicted that move shifting her weight and watch as my sister falls to the floor on her back. I see her breathing hard, chuckle when she gets back up and gasp at Kate knocking my sister's feet out from under her wrapping her legs around Antonia's neck. I jump when Antonia taps out on Kate's leg, see Kate completely relax her hold trying to catch her breath, see both of them looking up at the ceiling with sweat covering them and clap in excitement.
"Yelena had to go through that. I'm guessing Antonia did the same thing to you. Waited until you were fully distracted to make the first move." Kate gasps out.
"Yelena and Antonia's fight was a little more destructive though. I can't tell you how many things we had to replace. Yelena barely won and I can tell it was the same for you." I say walking over to them.
I hold at hand out to Kate helping her up, do the same to Antonia and turn back to see Nat in a state of shock. I look at Wanda who is just standing there with the same look on her face, pull Kate into my arms even as she complains about being sweaty and whistle to catch Wanda's and Nat's attention. Yelena walks over to us with pride in her eyes, kisses Kate deeply and then me and I kiss Kate as well letting her know how proud I am of her.
"Welcome to the family, Kate. You did really well and even managed to get me to tap out." Antonia says. "Even if you had lost, you would still be a part of this family because you actually made me sweat."
"See nothing to worry about, love." I say with a smile.
"I can't believe i just saw Kate beat the Taskmaster. Like this is surreal." Wanda says still in shock. "Wait why didn't I have to go through that?"
"Because you might be bio family to me." I say and pull Wanda into a quick hug.
"Well either way, Kate makes you happy so she's always gonna be family." Antonia says hugging me.
"So now that you're here and the initiation is out of the way, Tony wants to throw a party for you being here." I say smiling at her.
"Parties aren't really my thing." my sister says.
"I told him that and I'm sure we can sneak away for a family movie night. Everyone in this room plus Carol who is like a sister to me." I say.
"Isn't she the one that tried to get you out but you stayed to protect me?" Antonia asks.
"Yep. I'm shocked that you remember that. I told you that while you were Taskmaster." I say.
I lead everyone up the Kate's, Yelena and my shared room, walk in grabbing some clothes to change in the bathroom, smile when Kate follows me to take her shower closing the door behind her and pull her into a hug.
"I really am proud of you. I told you you had nothing to worry about. Antonia only does the initiation thing to calm your nerves. Gets you to focus on something else, plus she wants to make sure that you can protect yourself or me if it ever came down to it." I say kissing her forehead. "Be proud because you beat a perfect mimic."
"I am proud of myself and it's interesting seeing the relationship you have with her. You can tell that you're sisters, but at the same time you act more like sisters with Carol." Kate says getting undressed for her shower.
"We weren't ever allowed to properly bond and it's awkward to do it as adults because we were kept from each other. Like we know we're sisters and what not but because of how we were raised it's awkward to bond. The most sisterly you'll see us act with each other is when I'm taking care of her like the little sister that she is." I say starting to get changed.
"Though Wanda is possibly your sister too and you guys kind of act like siblings." Kate says climbing into the shower.
"We were friends before this revelation came to light and then there is just something about experiencing someone else's memories of their darkest moments that will bond you closer than almost anyone else." I say leaning against the counter.
"What you two talking about?" Yelena asks coming into the bathroom.
"About how Antonia and Y/N here don't act like sisters." Kate says.
"Not in front of people they don't. Plus I'm sure she explained why it's awkward for them to bond. In private and in front of the ones that are considered part of the family they act more like sisters. A habit of trying to keep that connection a secret." Yelena says leaning against me after closing the bathroom door.
"I'm sure that Antonia is getting the same thing from Wanda, Natasha and Carol if she has joined. There was a chance of someone walking into the living room so we reverted back to barely acting like sisters. With our room we can lock the door and control who can and cannot come in, so you might see more of the sisterly side." I say holding Yelena close.
"I know you don't want Nat to see your scars and that's the only reason why you came in here to change." Yelena whispers turning in my arms to face me.
"I know that she is aware of them, but actually seeing them is a different story. Wanda knows how I got each and every single one of them and she still hasn't seen them. Knowing how I got them and seeing them are two completely different things." I say kissing the shorter girls forehead.
"So what movies are we gonna watch?" Kate asks climbing out of the shower.
I stare at the woman that I am so in love with as the water drips from her hair, feel Yelena smirk against my neck and see a smirk spread on Kate's face at my staring. I shake my head clear trying to control my libido, clear my throat and stare at Yelena and Kate as they start laughing at me.
"You and Yelena go entertain the others while I get dressed." Kate says kissing me and Yelena deeply and lovingly.
"I feel like we're going to need a bigger bed at some point." I say with a laugh. "That or a couch added to our room."
Yelena and I walk out of the bathroom and see Antonia bonding with Wanda and Carol. I see Natasha kind of hanging back with guilt in her eyes, walk over to her motioning for her to follow me to the kitchen and stop moving to lean against the island. I see Natasha tense up, send her a warm smile and rest my hands on the edge of the counter.
"You know Antonia doesn't blame you and has already forgiven you." I say gently.
"I know, but how do you interact with someone that you almost killed because you were desperate to get out?" Natasha asks.
"Like any normal person. You know I tried killing Carol when we first met? Like not even as collateral damage, but an actual target in my mind." I say pulling Natasha into my arms to comfort her.
"Really? You two don't even act like you tried to kill her." Nat says looking up at me.
"Well yeah because she beat me and got me to talk to her. All you need to do is sit down and actually talk with Antonia about everything that has happened. Antonia knows that you did it in desperation to get out. Look at you and Yelena. Didn't you guys fight almost killing each other in the process?" I ask her.
"She told you about that?" Nat asks with a small smile. "You have a point though. Yelena was right about you. About you being someone that was kept from most social interactions and understanding people with scary accuracy."
"You can thank Carol for that. She was the one that actually taught me that training and sparring could be used as something for me to process. It's why I only do it with those that I care about. It's taking me time to open up to you because you somewhat know what I went through there and know that it takes a lot. It took Kate and Yelena a year respectively. Wanda was in my head and I hers and Carol more or less forced me to talk and open up about everything during that 5 months." I say giving Nat a squeeze and start gathering snacks for the movie night. "Just talk to Antonia and you may be surprised."
Nat and I walk back into the room to see everyone in a fit of laughter and I arch my eyebrow at Yelena and Kate. I look at Wanda tilting my head at her, wait for someone to start explaining and set all the food down on the bed as I climb into the cocoon of Kate's and Yelena's arms.
'Yelena made a joke and then it set off a full on joke contest.' Wanda says in my head.
'I don't doubt it with Yelena and Kate being in the same room. I'm glad everyone is getting along and that no one's trying to kill each other.' I reply.
"I just thought of something. Almost everyone in this room has tried to kill each other at one point or another." I say as the though strikes me.
"What do you mean?" Carol asks.
"I tried to kill you, Carol. Wanda tried to kill Natasha. Yelena and Nat tried killing each other. Antonia almost killed Nat and Yelena and Natasha almost killed Antonia. Am I missing anything here?" I say grabbing some Doritos.
"Well on a technicality I 'tried' killing you and Kate." Yelena says using air quotes on tried.
"I also tried killing you when you first told me who you were." Nat says looking at me with a pointed look.
"So almost everyone in this room has tried or almost did kill someone in this room." I say throwing a smirk at Natasha.
"Yeah pretty much though some connections are missing there. Also Natasha I don't blame you for what happened to me. I understand the desperation to get out of what my father had created. I never blamed you and even if I was under mind control, I had already forgiven you." Antonia says resting a hand on Nat's knee.
I watch as the tears start falling from Nat's face, grin when Antonia pulls her into a hug, cuddle further into my girls knowing that I did something good here and see Wanda looking at me so I open my mind.
'You say and felt her guilt too didn't you?' Wanda asks.
'Yeah I saw it in her eyes and we had a talk. I genuinely just had that one realization which opened up the conversation for them. She didn't know how to bring it up.' I say giving her a small shrug.
'Thank you because I know that if they didn't talk about it now, it would have eaten Nat alive.' Wanda says.
I tune back into the conversation going on, see Carol giving me an appreciative look, look at Yelena to see a soft but secretive smile on her face and just relax at having my chosen family around me. I sit ramrod straight when another realization crosses my mind, share a look with Carol and Wanda and shake my head at how we missed this.
"Another realization had. Most of us have worked for an organization that wasn't good in the slightest. Most of us by force because we were taken when we were younger or were dealing with amnesia like I was." Carol says.
"4 Red Room graduates, one hydra and one Kree victim." Wanda says as it hits her too.
"I'm the only one in the room who has pretty much worked for myself." Kate says in shock.
"You were allowed choices where the rest of us were not. I'm happy you didn't have to go through what most of us did." I say looking at Kate.
"Well like you said, a deal had to have been made to prevent me from being dragged to the Red Room when I was a kid." Kate says.
"We were assuming because of the firewall that was used for your security company." Yelena says.
"Though to be fair there has to be a universe out there where you were taken." I say. (Reference to We Meet Again)
"Well either way, we make quite the family. I just wish Pietro was here to see it." Wanda says.
"Speaking of. Natasha, it's been a few days so Tin Can should already have the test results." I say looking at Nat.
"I know and he hasn't told me anything." Nat says.
"I don't like the fact that he's keeping it to his self." I say getting up to grab my laptop.
I sit back down on the bed leaning against Kate, open my laptop to the hacking programs that I have and share a look with Kate to let her know what I'm about to do. Kate quickly types into my laptop the coding process needed to get into high security files, wraps her arms around my waist as I begin cracking into Stark's systems and feel everyone's eyes on me.
"Kate you run a security company so you should know that this isn't going to be easy." I say and then start losing everyone when Kate and I start speaking computer and hacking stuff.
Kate points to my computer at a specific file labeled weapons and I open it shocked at what I see. I turn to face Kate to hide my tears, feel Yelena wrap her arms around me to help hide them and feel someone grab my hand. I shove my face into Kate's neck, fight back the sobs that want to wrack my body and feel the room go still as anger suddenly fills the room. I feel the bed shift as if someone is getting up, keep myself hidden from everyone's prying eyes and feel Carol's powers start to charge as well as Wanda's powers start to flicker to life.
"Как он посмел сделать что-то подобное? Моя сестра не оружие, и Ванда тоже." (How dare he do something like that? My sister is not a weapon, and neither is Wanda.) hear Antonia say angrily.
"О чем ты говоришь?" (What are you talking about?) Natasha asks.
"Посмотрите на компьютер. Я убью его за это!" (Look at the computer. I will kill him for this!) Antonia continues to rant. "Он не лучше моего Отца. Мы не инструменты или оружие, которое можно использовать, когда он сочтет нужным." (He is no better than my Father. We are not tools or weapons to be used whenever he sees fit.)
"Я думал, что он изменился." (I thought he had changed.) Natasha says obviously seeing the computer now.
"Okay for those of us that don't know Russian. What are you two talking about?" Carol ask still angry.
I had finally calmed down enough to pull away from my girls, stand up to stand in front of my sister, look around to see Carol's eyes glowing white and Wanda's eyes glowing red and feel my power react to Wanda's as my eyes start to glow the bluish green color associated with my powers.
"Tony is apparently thinking of ways to weaponize our powers. Nick already does that by having this team, but he gives us the choice to use them or not. I thought that after he saw what his weapons were doing he stopped." I say giving Wanda an understanding look.
"Why hasn't he tried to weaponize my powers?" Carol asks as her eyes finally stop glowing.
"Because you scare the shit out of him." Wanda says her powers still acting up.
"I should scare the shit out of him too because I could kill him without anyone ever knowing." I say.
I walk over to Wanda noticing her powers swirling around her hands, grabs hers with one of my own now glowing hands, look at my sister to see her still pacing and take a deep breath knowing that I'm not helping matters. I finally fully calm down looking around the room to see that Kate and Yelena are gone, arch an eyebrow at everyone in the room and stand up walking over to my sister to stop her from pacing.
"Antonia chill. Do any of you know where Kate and Yelena went?" I ask looking around at everyone.
"They left while you were trying to calm down." Carol says.
"This isn't good. We need to find them before they get to Tin Can." I say noticing that Wanda's powers are now calm.
